"We reserved a table for three for Mother's Day dinner. We arrived at 7:30 for our table and were told there were 17 other tables ahead of us, the kitchen couldn't keep up, and that they wouldn't even begin to seat the people on the waiting list (we were at #17, remember) for another 45 minutes. Mother's Day dinner is not a good occasion for disappointing families. We have been longtime loyal customers and this was a very big let down. Please Papa Razzi, manage your reservations more realistically in future."

"Very disappointing mother day brunch. We got seated near the door with high traffic despite there were many other tables empty throughout the restaurant. The mother day manue was very limited and skimpy in its offering. They should have kept their origional brunch manue. Their excuse because they were busy!!!???. They should had mentioned their very lousy limited manue on their web site so people will be aware. Never again for mother day at this place."

The pizzas are mediocre and some pasta dishes sub-par. The mushroom tortellini were clearly the tasteless gummy frozen sort, and not a mushroom could be found in the mushroom sauce that came with it. The pricier special--lobster fra diavolo, was quite well-prepared. as was their chicken offering.
The service was excellent--attentive and unobtrusive."

"Always a good meal here though the portions can be out of control. The Manzo salad was easily enough for 4 people - would prefer more reasonable portions at cheaper prices. Veal cutlets were excellent as was one of the mushroom pasta specials. Service was slow even though the restaurant was far from full. Still, all in all a reliable restaurant for reasonable prices."

"7 ladies for Sunday lunch - happy to realize they offered both Brunch and Regular menu. I called ahead to advise we would want to sit for awhile and preferred a round table if possible. The staff and our waiter were attentive and more than accommodating to our 3 hour visit. Always enjoyed the food and atmosphere at every Papa Razzi but this was a wonderful experience - they went beyond my expectations allowing us to sit for so long and continue to feel welcome. Note: The Cappuccino Gelato was delicious and large enough for 3 ladies to share! All in all a terrific experience."

"The ambiance is very good. It was Easter Sunday and the place was NOT busy. There were an adequate number of staff, but they were milling around and chatting, and one guy was eating a mouthful of something, probably bread. He was not a waiter he was dressed more as a manager!!! The lamb chop special was explained to me as being prepared medium rare. I was excited. The first chop was so well done that it cracked when I tried to cut it. The second one was past well done, but I could cut it. I never looked at the third one and asked the waiter to take it back. The second attempt was better, and mostly MED-RARE to RARE. Our waiter was having trouble serving three tables and could not explain the menu, with out two trips to ask for help."

"I was so happy with my visit on Saturday night that I returned the next day for lunch. The food was good and the service was friendly and professional. I was particularly impressed with the maitre de / hostess staff. Prices were very fair for good quality! I hope to return again soon when in the area. My reservation was honored even though the first night I arrive early and the second day I was late. Very well run establishment!"

"Our 3rd time at Papa Razzi - and will not go back again. Daughter's "steak" was undercooked - husband had some large chunk of undesirable olive/pickle/unidentified object in meatball, I had more than 3 shells in my lobster ravioli which was exceptionally dry and off tasting. Even basic Cesar salad was under dressed and underwhelming. Waitress was inattentive - brought check before even inquiring on food? And then the check - waitress told us we'll make anything - but left off we will and CHARGE you for it. Swapping out grilled chicken for grilled beef on under 12 kids dinner (6 undercooked strips of meat) went from $6 to $16.99? Kids drinks were $3 each? When I complained $5 was taken off then bill. Too little too late."

"Paparazzi has really gone down hill since they changed ownership. I had a salad with chicken for lunch. The salad greens tasted old and dried up. The chicken breast tasted like it had been in the refrigerator for days. The service was terrible. We had to wait for the waiter to take our order, had to ask for bread and had to wait for the check while the waiter stood around talking to his co-workers. This is the second disappointing meal I have had in recent months."

"The food was good as it alwasy is, the service was slow, unprofessional and just did not cut it. No one was dealing with filling our water, when they did and we drank it, they were never filled again, drinks too forever, the server was young with very little experience. I doubt I will ever go back."

"My only issue with my experience was with the host. I have been to this restaurant before and always felt welcomed. This time, I felt differently. Upon arrival, the hostess moved toward us, and I was about to give her our name--but she moved past us to the computer to focus, I guess, upon takeout orders, not even acknowledging us. We waited for a bit. Then, a host arrived, and I moved to him to indicate that we had arrived. He turned away from me and focused on a man nearby and put his name on the list. Despite the fact that I was right in front of him, he focused on the man behind me. He was about to leave when I said, "Excuse me" to try to get his attention. I felt as though, until that point, he had absolutely not even seen me."

"Papa Razzi is our office's go-to restaurant when entertaining guests for lunch or dinner. The menu and wine selections are varied. The food is very good - I've never been disappointed, and the service has always been attentive. We can linger if time permits, but can also expedite our dining experience if need be."

"Hostess was very welcoming. They accommodated our request for a quieter table as it was a business lunch. Our server was Gil, and he was fantastic ! Very personable and professional. I don't often rate restaurants after a business lunch because they are typically so unremarkable. Kudos to the crew at Papa Razzi for making it such a memorable and pleasant experience. I work in Boston but will be looking for more opportunities to host my business lunches at Papa Razzi in Wellesley. By the way, the food was great too!"

"My fiancé and I had our first date here. To celebrate the first anniversary of our first date, we decided to have dinner here. We mentioned this to the host while being seated. The information quickly spread to our server and to the manager on duty. The service we received for the evening was spectacular. Although I have eaten here before and found the service to be excellent, they went above and beyond. They brought us complimentary champagne, and the manager came over to congratulate us. They truly made the night special."
