"Our experience on Mother's Day would have been quite good (in spite of lousy weather) until the management decided that the time to bring tables and chairs in from the outside right past our table was now. This meant that putiing up with personnel talking to each other, the banging of chairs and tables moving past our table within inches of my wife's chair and cold air blowing in against us as the opening was held open accompanied our finishing our meal. Evidently there was no immediate need for the tables and chairs as they were simply stacked up against a wall further into the dining area. A man came to take our payment for the meal and offered an apology that was curt and seemingly unsincere."

"Had a wonderful Mother's Day Brunch. Even though it was cold out, we sat on the patio and the heaters kept us nice an warm. Food was really good as was the service. A very, very pleasant experience all around."

"This restaurant has potential to be amazing however it falls short on the most important elements of any restaurant - great food, beverage and service. In my opinion Pier 45 lacks all three of these. I ordered the steak entree and the steak lacked seasoning, the mashed potatoes filled half of the plate and the only vegetable was five pieces of asparagus. Would much rather have the vegetable and a dollop of starch. I doubt I would go back."

"We were delighted with our experience at Pier 45. The food was outstanding and the wait staff was attentive. Our water glasses were filled continually, empty dishes removed, and food presentation was lovely. We'll go there again for sure."

"2 filets that were average at best. Dinner for 2 with 1 drink each was $100, and it was just not worth the price. No specials and the menu is small."
