"We typically love Morton's, but this experience was not the best. Of the salads that we had only the spinach salad hit the mark. Those that had the Caesar, even though they requested no anchovies, the dressing was heavily anchovy flavored. The steak sauces were fair at best. The lobster tail was overcooked. The chocolate soufflé was dry and of little substance. The best part of the meal were the side dishes. For the price, the next time we will try someplace else."

"The prices are high, but the quality of the steak is very good. The service is excellant and the staff is very knowledgable about the menu. The only down side was the portion size of the "Short Ribs". The menu says "Ribs" but the plate only contained one short rib. While it was very tasty, it was too small a portion. If we had know that it was such a smal;l portion, we wouldn't have ordered it."

"I got a gift card from my sister so my wife and I went for dinner. We had been there before but it has been years. The dinner was fine. Our server was very nice and helpful. The restaurant is smaller than I remember. No ambiance. The only problem is the price of the food. My wife and I go out often to very nice restaurants. For the price they charge at Morton's one would expect a unique dining experience. Falls very flat when it comes to the food. Nothing special. Not bad but not fancy or gourmet in any shape or form. For these kinds of prices go to Capital Grill. No I do not work for Capital Grill. Honestly go to Costco buy one of their NY Strip Steaks and cook it on the grill. It will cost you alot less and be as good if not better."

"First time dining here.Food was fair.Very disappointing for this upscale restaurant that supposedly has a great reputation.
We were a party of 4 with a reservation. We waited at the front for approx. 5 minutes. NO HOSTESS was there. Waiters were walking by,the Manager walked by, yet, no one took the time to say anything to us. Finally, someone said, "are you being helped?"
She then seated us. We sat at the table at least another 15 minutes
WITHOUT ANY MENUS! No one took our drink order during that time.
Finally, the waiter did come by.Took our drink order, but still NO menus. Then the drinks came,& finally the menus after that.
Overall,the food was NOT SPECTACTULAR,service was POOR,Very noisy & Un-organized.
Will NEVER GO BACK HERE!"

"The food was disappointing. We have been to the Toronto spot and love it so thought would be the same in west palm. Table was by the kitchen and our chair got knocked every time waiter went by. So sad as it was my husbands birthday and we had our family there. Said they would take a photo, and never did. Will not go back."

"First of all, the location of the restaurant is a bit uncomfortable and not scenic in the least. It is at the corner of an alley away from most of the city life. I thought it was by the water, but it's not. I find it a bit small, but nice for a romantic night. In my opinion, the food was okay but extremely overpriced for what it was. The service was not out of this world, still more than decent. The night we went, most of the customers were older folks (mid-late 40's and up). It was a quiet place which was nice after a long, fun day. I also liked the fact that they had complimentary valet or self-parking. I was not thrilled with the food or the location, but the service and atmosphere were nice."

"Athought this is usually one of our favorite restaurants, it was not so on Valentine's Day. The kitchen was in big trouble this night, backed up over an hour. The whole dining room we were in (the back room :( ) was not happy. AND when we did get our food only the vegetable was hot and the steak was overcooked. I hope they can get it back on track, but will not be visiting on any holidays in the future, if at all. They ruined Valentine's Day for many people!! P.S. I don't know how they determine who gets stuck in the back room at a cocktail table, but my husband made this reservation over a month before VD."

"We want to commend the staff at Morton's Palm Beach. We went to the restaurant for a birthday celebration. We ordered the porterhouse for one. It was cooked to perfection but the meat was unchewable. When we mentioned it to our waiter,without missing a step, he got the manager. She apologized and offered us another. Due to time constraints we could not accept her offer. She then suggested that after our concert, return to the restaurant and we could pick up a newly cooked steak and take it home. When we returned not only did we have a steak but a loaf of bread and the mints for dessert That is customer service

"Frankly disappointing. The service was great but when you pay $250.00 for two you would expect a better meal. The drinks were expensive the wine list was good. The main course came out Luke warm and my steak was overdone. I had the 8oz filet which can be a challenge to cook but at $45.00 they should try harder."

"As per my ratings, totally outstanding dining experience. Waitperson Mary provided extraordinary service. Dessert on-the-house for my wife's birthday was a pleasant surprise. Only drawback is the relatively high noise level in the room. As a result, several diners at other tables were speaking at pretty high volume levels. But we did not let that ruin our wonderful dining experience."

"Waitstaff could have been more attentive. The constant upselling reminded me of a lesser chain restaurant. The food, however was outstanding. Tip was not added on for our group of 8 which was noble(we tipped 20 percent)"

"We were greeted and seated promptly. We ordered wine for dinner. The wine list had numerous red wines to choose. The waiter took our dinner order immediately as requested. Our steaks were cooked to perfection. The vegetables were served hot. We loved the keylime pie we had for desert. We will return again. It's our favorite Steakhouse."

"Passe food, tired menu, meh ambiance (hasn't changed in 10 years).
Morton's has rested on its laurels too long. We were disappointed with the quality of the food; poor cut of beef, overcooked fish and the tired dessert choices (1995 called... they want molten chocolate lava cake back). The cheap steakhouse quality food didn't justify the extremely large pricetags. Had this been a Sizzler, I'd have given a better review. But it's not... it's supposedly one of the top steakhouses. And it disappointed.
On a positive note, the service was extremely well-done. I'm glad to see the focus on one of the most important elements of a restaurant.
I hope they can breathe life back into the old place. Start with a new chef, new menu."

"The front door opens right into the restaurant area, this makes the dining area drafty, and noisy. The bar is right off the front door, and adds to the noise. With an exposed hostess station, and a long wait before any one even noticed we were there, the evening did not start well.
The chopped spinach salad is very good. We both had filets and scallops. Although cooked correctly, the bacon completely overwhelemed the scallops. We rarely send food back, but my husbands steak was so overdone, we did return it.
There was not enough bus help, so our waitress was busing tables herself, slowing down service. As the roon filled up, service got slower.
We were charged for 3 filets on our bill... so had to return to have the bill correc"
