"Mothers Day in my family is often spent at Houston's next door. In order to beat the rush we decided to dine a day earlier and a change of venue. Morton"s was a wonderful and pleasurable experience that we will repeat. The staff was very attentive, and the food was excellent."

"Very expensive for what you get. Ordered lobster cocktail it for $22.00 you should get some lobster, not some tiny pieces over a lot of lettuce. My wife ordered the Chilean bass and it was just a miniscule portion, we had the soufflé for dessert and it was nothing to brag about it besides they cut it up to serve it and is just a mess. I had a pork chop and it was good and also was the corn. Service was ok. without a smile."

"Our table of five was seated immediately upon arrival with reservation. Imediately noticed incredible noise level, big restaurant, very loud. Immediate service, excellent waiter, Jean from Haiti, good man ! Drinks first, bread and appetizers. Main course, all excellent. Man, the place is expensive but we knew that. $ 16.00 for an IPA Beer ?

"I've been lucky enough to have visited different locations in the US,Canada and Asia so was looking forward to going to the original...the service definitely lived up to the brand name but the food was just average I have always left Morton's feeling more than satisfied but something appears to have gone terribly wrong, at least here at the flagship location. Steaks were average and not cooked as ordered. Service was almost terrible. Morton's is supposed to pay attention to the details but they failed to pay attention to the obvious and expected. I will be hard pressed to return I am disappointed to say."

"Underwhelming. The last time I date at Morton's was in Chicago decades ago and I left unimpressed. This time there was confusion with our reservation, a waiter who was in the weeds, harried and less than attentive, steak not much better than Outback, undersized shrimp and lukewarm espresso. Hardly what you'd expect at fine dining prices. It will be a few decades before I try them again."

"I enjoyed the steak for sure! I am a big Ruth Chris fan and a friend suggested that I give Morton's a try. I can say that the steak was much better however the sides we not as impressive. The bacon and onion macaroni and cheese was very dry as was the sour cream mash potatoes. My friend said that she had the mac and cheese at a different location on the same day and it was very creamy. Due to the restaurant being so busy, we were seated in the back room where the temperature was very unpleasant. Everyone complained about how warm it was. I did see management trying to work the thermostat but it just could not cool the room down. A few people left due to it. Overall it's worth the steak. The service was outstanding!"

"I have always loved Morton's. This last dinner at Morton's might be my last dinner at Morton's, unfortunately. Aside from very slow service overall, I ordered lamb chops, medium rare, which came out medium well. My husband had put a large piece of his steak on my plate before I sent the chops back. When the chops came back, the steak was gone, as were my sides, and the lamb was now rare. Cold center. At this point, everyone else was done eating, so I just asked them to take them off the bill and I didn't eat. The manager gave us a free dessert, which was the best part of my dinner."
