Mirabelle Tavern is the epitome of coziness, with its casual atmosphere and combination of American comfort food and French bistro classics.Chef Reuge brings to the table the freshest and best local ingredients with emphasis on value. Long Island wines as well as other American vineyards are featured on a well chosen wine list. Fireplaces enhance the warmth of the Tavern and outside dining on our patio is available in warmer weather.
"Food used to be really good. The quality was not there on this occasion. Oysters were too big and greasy, my vegetarian dish was some couscous and vegetables in a small bowl. Hardly worth the money.....Service was great though thanks to Shane."

"I loved Mirabelle Tavern. The food was fantastic. It was a little noisy and slow for my taste, but I went at the busiest dinner time on saturday, so a little bit my fault. My fiance and I plan to return every season to try the new menu as it changes. I am excited to go back."

"We've been to Mirabelle Tavern several times but not on a Sunday so we had no idea there was an all-inclusive brunch menu when we arrived. There was a lot of variety to satisfy our preferences. We particularly enjoyed the salmon and ravioli. Our waiter was not quite as attentive even though there weren't many patrons at the time. We will be back for dinner in the future."

"The wine list is varied and very good. I had the mussels with french fries. Mussels were delicious. One or two were a little big for more liking and probably needed a little more cooking time, but the meal was excellent. Waiter could have been more attentive. Atmosphere is very nice and cozy."

"Had dinner here on Valentine's day, two weeks after we ate at Restaurant Mirabelle and liked the menu offerings for Valentine's day. The food was outstanding. We were a little surprised to be seated at a community table which we were not expecting since it was a couples type of night. The hostess asked if we had reserved online which we had so we were not afforded a more private table. It turned out that no one else was seated there until we were nearly finished w/ ovour meal, but I guess that just added to the European tavernlike feel. Overall a great meal and evening. We will definitely go back and perhaps try to book a community table w/ friends."

"I made reservations at Mirabelle tavern for Valentine's Day. When I arrived at the restaurant for a 5:15 reservation the restaurant had two tables seated and two people at the bar. I was shocked when the hostess brought us to a raised table in the bar area set for 12 people (!) and told us to sit at the end of the empty table. When I told her we did not want sit there, she told us that was the table assigned by Open Table. The tavern manager, Ali,said I should have called the hostess and that the tavern has "a weird relationship" with Open Table. After speaking to four people, we were eventually seated and even though we were told they were booked solid, 3-8 tables were empty throughout our meal. Terrible treatment - NOT RECOMMENDED!"

"A medium to small size menu with some great food, creative and/or high quality. My Butternut Squash Mac and Cheese was shockingly good and my wife's lamb chops were high quality and perfectly medium rare. Great beer and ale list and a nice well-populated bar."
