"After some shenanigans in the kitchen 2 or 3 years ago, we stopped coming here. We came back Saturday night. ALL of the food was superb. The fillet was rare with the house peppercorn and blue cheese drizzled over it... Perfect grill marks and temperature... and sauces were right on. The jumbo asparagus had perfect grill marks w/balsamic drizzle. Baked potato was a monster and also cooked perfectly. Soufflé was all you could hope for. A 2008 bottle of JLohr complimented the whole meal. The waitress, Mimi, was very attentive and made the evening as good as an evening can get! Even tho' busy, Managers came by thrice(!) to assure all was as it should be. How often does that happen?! Including tips and cocktails... Almost $300, but worth it!"

"We had more than one server who visited our table to chat or make certain that everything was to our liking. This was our first visit to this Morton's location, and we will be going back.
The wild mushroom side is divine! And the Halibut tasted so fresh it must have been caught minutes prior to serving it!lol

"Big disappointment! We ALWAYS go to Capital Grille but on this night they were booked. We decided to shoot over to Mortons and boy do d we regret our decision. For the same prices as Capital Grille you would expect similar service and quality of food....not the case. Food was mediocre at best and service was not good. Would not recommend the restaurant."

"Unfortunately, My guests and I were very disappointed in our experience at Morton's. I won't be entertaining clients there again. The service was terrible. The busser spilled water on my guests and the table and didn't bother to clean it up. The appetizer showed up before we gave our dinner order...we had menus in our hands and no extra plates so we couldn't even enjoy the appetizer. One of my guests wanted to order soup but the waitress was nowhere in the dining room. Two of the steaks were delivered well done when they were ordered medium rare. The dessert was brought to us with no plates and no silverware. Again the waitress was nowhere to be found and I kept having to ask for service from others in the dining"

It was a Saturday night, and many men were wearing dungarees,t-shirts and sneakers. It diminishes the specialness of this restaurant when the dress code is not encouraged or enforced. "My husband and I were very disappointed with our visit to this restaurant. When we ordered our meal we were asked pour preferences as to how we would like our steaks cooked and whether we would like to preorder a special desert. We ordered and decided to order the apple pie and ice cream. Tomatoes were mushy The steaks were not cooked to order. Our check came without our dessert being given to us. When we asked where the dessert was the waitress was surprised that we hadn't received it. When it then came it was moderately warm and the ice cream melted and the coffee warm. Overall, very disappointed in the entire experience for a meal that was rather costly. Will not return to this particular restaurant again."

"I have eaten at Morton's many times over the years and this was by far the worst experience. We arrived on time for our 8 pm reservation and was not greated by a hostess until 8:10, and when she finally came over she was curt and unfriendly. She told us they were running late and we would not be sested for at least 15 minutes so we should sit at the bar, which was crowded and noisy. When we told her we would wait outside she made a face and shrugged. We finally got seated at 8:30, thirty minutes late. The server was very nice and professional but slow. My food was good but my husband had to return his steak because it was well done and dry, even though he ordered it medium. The manager was very apologetic and gave him dessert on the house"

"The staff was very nice and accomodating to our party of six. I was disappointed with the food however, specifically the steak. I ordered the center cut ribeye. While there was nothing wrong with it, I have had better tasting steaks for half the price - it was quite bland. When I go to a high-end steakhouse I expect a great steak. This wasn't it. Way overpriced for what you get."

"Living in New York, I am accustom to spending $45+ for a steak (w/o sides) in a steakhouse. Boy, we were shocked to pay $57 for the same steak, same size at Morton's in Boca Raton. During this past February vacation week, we were unable to get reservations at any other restaurant... but we easily got reservations at Morton's - now I know why. I will say, the steak was good... but not as good as my favorite NY steakhouse. something must have happened in the kitchen as our entree was delayed for quite some time. The waiter was apologetic. I don't think it was his fault. However, other tables that arrived after us were served their entree well before us.

Most people will pay what is asked for the side dishes, but inwardly they feel they are getting ripped off.
