Morton's The Steakhouse, the nation's premier steakhouse group, specializes in classic, hearty fare, serving generous portions of USDA prime aged beef, as well as fresh fish, lobster and chicken entrees. "This resturant experience tops up there as one of the best. The food (Chicago Style Bone In Rib Eye Steak) was the best. It was prepared to perfection. You would ruin the meat if you put anything on (sauces, onions etc), and it was so tender you could almost cut it with a fork. The service was excellent as well. A little pricey but well woth every penney. The ambiance was also outstanding."

"Excellent steak (NY strip). Wife's salmon was a little dry but she asked for it well-done. She thought the honey glaze could be better. Roasted asparagus was excellent as well. Our service was top shelf. It was a reminder of what good service is all about and how long it has been since we had it."

"Everything is overpriced relative to the mediocre quality of the food.... will never return. Example: the waiter tells my wife that the veal chops are amazing; so she orders one well done. It comes medium rare (and has to be returned) and was so bland that she tells me, " your veal chops at home on the BBQ are much better"."

"We had a very pleaasant evening with fine wine and sublime steaks; flavoursome and perfectly cooked. The service was quietly efficient, and our waiter recommended a great wine for us.
We were visiting California for two weeks from the UK and had two outstanding meals in that time, the first was at Lou & Mickey's in San Diego, and the second was this one.

"I really, really enjoyed my experience at Morton's Steakhouse. The only thing I didn't like was that we sat for about 10 minutes without a server after being seated. But, once someone came over to help us the service was outstanding until the time we left. Even the valet was friendly and helpful. The food is outstanding and our server was very knowledgeable of the menu and the wines they served. He also made the best Raspberry Lemon Drop I've ever tasted. I think he was also the bartender for the evening. I plan to go back and I've already recommended this place to a few of my friends."

"I took my husband to Morton's to celebrate his birthday. Although the service was excellent, the food was disappointing. We had been years before and raved about the food. His steak was undercooked for medium rare, and a side of brussel spouts didn't taste right at all. Our waiter didn't hesitate to try and fix our order."

"Everyone was incredibly friendly (waitress, matre d')and helpful. The food is delicious, many dishes are large enough to share. They went out of their way to make my birthday dinner very special even having a personalized menu ("Happy Birthday Barbara") and taking our picture to produce prints for each of us before we left the restaurant! So a neat place for a special occasion."

"I had a great time! It was my brithday and from the start all the staff made me feel important. Everyone of the staff made a point to wish me a happy birthday.
The wait satff was attentive without being pushy or rushy, the food was cooked perfectly, and the special dessert was icing on the cake.
I will surely go back to this Morton's for any special occassion that might arise.
