"The food was very good but not outstanding, room was.really cool, great decor. Service completely fell apart after the appetizer. Couldn't find our waiter for a really long time, main course was served at least 45 minutes after appetizer was finished and taken away. Very disappointed with poor service."

"I would highly recommend the Chefs Tasting #2 with the Filet Rossini as the star and the wine pairings that go along with it. The best dinner, service and experience my wife and I have enjoyed in many years. The restaurant is sp beautifil inside but if you are able, sit on the patio. WOW"

"The setting is incredible. Our table was outdoors, directly on the glass railing overlooking the strip. Indoors, however, the restaurant though beautiful was quite loud. We had the Ducaisse classic price fixe menu. It was good, but did not measure up to the setting. Really not in the same league as Joel Rubichon where we ate the night before. The service was mediocre at best."

"The scenic view of the strip is the best in Las Vegas combined with top of the line service and food beyond description. Every menu item is meticulously described by the waiter and portions are perfect. Each menu item I ordered was a tastebud delight and coupled with a suggested wine paring, the evening was perfect. The main dining area is quite large and has an open feeling with plenty of space between guests. The significant use of glass decor and hardwood flooring creates a bit more ambient noise, but elegance is never compromised. This is a one of a kind dining experience with a unique one of a kind menu."

"We arrived about 10 minutes late for our reservation and was told to wait about 10 minutes in the lounge area. We went to the lounge area and ended up ordering an appetize and drink. The waitress was very friendly. Then 10 minutes went by, 20 minutes, then 30 then almost an hour. Our waitress had gone to asked the hostess about our reservation and came back to tell us our table was ready. I think the hostess had forgotten about us. Once we were seated we had to wait for a while before our server was available. There was a lot of waiting and it seemed like the "larger groups" were catered to more. The place is loud with a lot of activity but the food was EXCELLENT and the view was AMAZING.. That made up for all the waiting. Bring plenty of $"

"Absolutely one of my favorite places to eat. We had our wedding dinner here and still go every year on our anniversary. After dinner you can go to the bar that overlooks the strip and move on tot he dance floor. No need to drive all around town. Everything on the menu is so tasty. The service depending where you sit can be a little long but you after going for the ambience and the 4 course dinner. If you get to sit outside you wont even notice how long everything takes."

"Overall it was a good restaurant with an interesting menu. But the food was good, not otherworldly. The service was not at all sublime and in fact seemed more fit for a cheaper Trattoria than a 4 star Alain Ducasse joint. For the money I'd recommend Cut or Bartoletta.
It just seems a tier beneath its status.

"This is an awesome place. I’ve been to Las Vegas many times and have eaten at a lot of nice places and was shocked that I didn’t even know about this place. It is at the top of the The Hotel (yes – really) and has a commanding view of the strip and beyond. AWESOME, AWESOME & AWESOME. From tentative server to the very knowledgeable sommelier the experience was great. The presentation was perfect and the food even better. This is must visit spot. It isn’t cheap…but nothing in life that will create a long lasting experience isn’t. Right?"

"64th floor with beautiful views and our table was against a wall with no view. With insistence we managed to get moved to the outdoor balcony. However, we were next to the door and constantly jostled by customers, sightseers, picture takers, and staff. The floor bounced as people walked by ... Not the most comfortable sensation when you are cantilevered off the side of a building 64 floors up.

"Well it is very impressive- the inside and the view- We did the wine paring which was a treat as they do know how to pair wine and food. the food was very rich and very tasty- we did not like the Lamb as it tasted a bit gamey compared to other lamb we have had- also the liver was a bit hard to eat as we are not fans of liver. The service was very good for the first 3 pairings then for the next 4 pairings it got slow. we started at 7:15 and we left at 9:45. i guess you be the judge- it was romantic and we were not in a hurry but the service seemed slow."

"From the moment we checked in at the downstairs hostess stand it was a negative experience. The hostess was very unfriendly, sent us to a bank of elevators that led us to a long walk down a deserted hallway looking for the actual restaurant. Our table was not ready even though the restaurant was empty.Service was terrible when we finally were seated. Seemed forever before waiter came by. Food was fair. If you don't order the tasting menu the choices are slim."

"I've been to Mandalay Bay several times, but never tried Mix. Finally I made reservations and I was glad I did. The view is awesome and the food was delicious. Matt, the sommelier, recommended a fantastic and reasonably priced Pinot Noir that paired perfect with dinner. The bison filet mignon was the best piece of steak I've ever eaten. It's expensive here but if your looking for a special night, this place is for you. Leave room for dessert, the profiteroles are amazing."

"The views of Las Vegas was superb, however, the food was not what we expected it to be. Was initially turned off when I ordered a vodka martini and was told "there is no blue cheese stuffed olives anywhere in this restaurant". Dinner was OK, but have had better at other fine restaurants in the City.
Manager was nice and checked on us a few times, even brought a blanket in case the Mrs got cold. Waiter was ok, but overly chatty. Definitiely was not a Four Seasons Resort or Spago's experience."

"I was expecting good food. What we got was nothing short of amazing. The Lobster Curry was very tasty, not really spicy, great flavors, and portion size was very good. The Diver Scallops are just fantastic! The gourmet mushrooms and sauce were perfect. Some of the best flavor mixes I've had in years. Amazing view, great drinks and good service. Unfortunately, some construction was going on as we ate, so that was a bit bothersome. Otherwise, a perfect evening that we shall always remember."

Con's:
The food was less than impressive. The entree's were good yet not oustanding, side dishes were okay at best, and I would not recommend Mix if you enjoy a fine meal as Las Vegas has many other options to consider.
Service was poor at best in that our head waiter frankly was non attentive and in a service business was less than friendly making our group feel awkard to even interact with him."

"The food was remarkable. I would note that service started out to be very impressive and then quickly lost momentum as our wait staff became increasingly busy. We chose to do one of each prixe fix menus and it was obvious that our waiter was delayed in firing courses because he could not keep up. Too bad!!"

"Mix was an incredible experience. Per a request, my date and I were placed in a private, but open, area of the restaurant. Besides the window side tables and various seating options around the restaurant, there were also "clam" booths, which we were placed in. These booths offer a great deal of privacy, while still allowing each guest the ability to enjoy the decor of the restaurant as well as the scenic views. The booths are a little less than 180 degrees, and have a canopy that extends well past the legs of the sitting guests. This was a perfect venue for a private, yet open, special event. I chose this restaurant because I wanted an incredible venue when I proposed; I was not disappointed. Food, location, and service were all top notch."

"Went here for dinner last night. Had 8:30 reservations - when we got there, we were asked if we wanted to be seated outside - 64 floors up! Being Californians - we jumped on that and had one of the most memorable dinners ever. The view is to die for and the service is impeccable (but not too stuffy). Great wine list and, of course, the food was marvelous. For appetizers, you have to try the Lobster Caesar Salad or the new take on a Shrimp Cocktail. I had lamb and the BF had the cod, both outstanding You HAVE to order a side of their signature mac n cheese - trust me.
If you aren't dining -drop by the bar and grab and outside table to take in the view. You won't be disappointed."

"Love the Mix!! Filet Mignon with peppercorn was the best! I eat my steak well done and I could still cut the steak with a butter knife.
