"About what you'd expect from a hotel restaurant. I had the tuna sandwich with kettle chips, and the food was pretty good but didn't blow me away. Certainly nothing to complain about, but nothing to rave about, either."

"Even though we used a Living Social Deal we were treated with such class. We could order anything off the regular menu and our filet mignon was so tender.....outstanding. Bryce was a wonderful waiter."

"The dining room - as always was empty - even at dinner time. The Ruby Trout was excellent. The steak was tough and the glaze detracted from the flavor. Server was friendly and helpful in making recommendations. The good news is that it is never noisy at Flatz but it tends to feel like a wake."

"We had an excellent meal at Flatz and I highly recommend it. We were able to enjoy our meal outside on the patio, which added to the experience. We had crab cakes for an app, fish jumbo and the house salad for starters and finished with the filet minon and rib eye steak for the entrees. Everything was great. Typcially at nicer restaurants the portions are smaller due to the richness of the food, but the portions were actually very large, which was an added bonus. I definitely would recommend eating here, the price is a bit high, but definitely worth it."

"My wife and I had dinner at Flatz on 3/28/13, and it was just as good an experience as when we were last here 3 years ago.
Good wine selection, by the glass and bottle. I started with PEI mussels, which were excellent. Me wife had the pumpkin soup, also very good. Our entrees were a peppercorn ribeye and monkfish, very well prepared. Our server, Jessica, was friendly, professional, and took care of us very well.
We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet the following morning.
We will certainly come back to Flatz when our travels take us back to Broomfield."

"I thought the food was not up to standard....I had the roast chicken and it was all white meat and dry. The bean ragu didn't taste very good and there was too much boccolini. We went there for the 5280 meal, but the choices were awful and weren't what we found online, so we ordered off of the regular menu. I wouldn't go back nor would I recommend it to any friends."

"We went to Flatz for Sunday Brunch after Church. It was fantastic. When we arrived many of the brunch items on the buffet were empty, but they were promptly filled again. My husband ordered an omelet from the chef, who was there ready and waiting, and he said it was outstanding. This is coming from someone who would much rather stay home for brunch and have me cook then go out, so that was a huge compliment to the chef. I enjoyed the food as well as the bottomless mimosas. We will definitely go again."

"Everything was great, but for the price of the meat entrees I expected a little more. The flavor of the steak was overpowered by the burnt charcoal taste from the grill and my entire plate was covered in gravy, took away from the meal a little bit. The mussels were fantastic and our server was awesome..would come back to try the fish or chicken entrees."
