"I was visiting Philly on business and people in town highly recommended this restaurant. When we arrived we were greeted by a beautiful and friendly hostess. After we were seated our server arrived and he immediately demonstrated how the remaining of our experience would be. Every time he came to our table he would leave the table while we were still interested in asking questions. He would turn and walk away so quickly that another guest at the table could not make a request. I could not believe how uninterested he was in serving our table. Out of the three main dishes ordered 2/3 came out fine. The third entree(steak) came out incorrectly twice. The manager was wonderful. He apologized and did everything he could to make things right."

"This isn't a Sizzler or Applebee's, so don't expect your steak within 5 minutes. Enjoy some oysters and/or a salad to start. When your steak arrives, savor every bite. I ordered the 12oz filet, cooked rare, and I was amazed. I highly recommend the asparagus and the chateau potatoes."

"We were trying to find a good steak restaurant for my wife's birthday. Your restaurant was recommended by a family member. We loved the beauty and the ambiance upon arrival. Your staff were very friendly and knowledgeable on all served at your establishment. Our waiter was friendly and very attentive and made my wife's dinner a success. The food was above and beyond and our party of three was not disappointed with anything we were served. Yes, We will definitely be back and have been spreading the word of our experience there. Highly recommended..."

"Everything was wonderful from the time we entered until we left. We were celebrating our daughter's graduation from college. Turned out our server, Candy, graduated from there a few years back! Great ice breaker and her service and attention was outstanding! We had an incredible time and will most definitely return!"

"This was an amazing night, our table was not ready when we arrived with a reservation but it was okay because we enjoyed Martina's at the bar where the drinks were great and service better. When we got to the table out waiter had a great attitude and was fun but also fully knowledgeable of the wine list and menu . We came to Philly on a whim for a night away and dinner was amazing we will be back."

"The VIP cocktail was fabulous. Steaks came out sizzling and perfect although the sea bass was slightly undercooked and bland. Desserts were very good especially the lemon cake. Overall a wonderful experience even though pricey."

""Bring your pocketbook"! This is a gorgeous multi level restaurant where the female staff are all show girls. Dustin took great care of us with light humor & knowledge of the menu. Wine offered up to $2,850 yet our $47.00 bottles were great so they took time with their selections. The bank vault private dining room & other private rooms were beautiful. Every detail to attention has been carefully thought out. Steaks & shrimp appetizers were highlights, both cooked to perfection, which are expected at such prices."

"When it comes to steak houses like these, I find that everyone is happy when you order a few appetizers and more importantly.. share a few steaks. If you are going with three people, order a filet and a strip. Bottom line portions for both entrees and sides are huge, but at those prices you are getting what you pay for. Two people order one side, four - five people two sides. Both your doctor and wallet will be happy. They are more then happy to hear you order a $60.00 steak for two. Don't feel obligated to have each person order an entree. But back to the review, its a modern hipper version of Capital Grill with some beautiful hostesses and waitstaff and some amazing steaks that are perfect. Order smart and you will be happy."

"I've dined at all the major Steakhouses in Philly and my favorite is, without question, Del Frisco's. The food is consistently excellent. Service is fantastic. They have some great specials and be sure to check out the business lunch specials - great value. The venue is extremely impressive - the best looking restaurant in the city. The wine tower is almost as impressive as quality of the food and service. If you are in the mood for a great steak you must check out Dels."

"Was here for the first time. Awesome location. Good Service. The first Filet Mignon I ordered was poor: I ordered it medium and became a dry piece of meat that was cooked "done". I returned it to the waiter and after waiting a few minutes I got a new one: perfect! Why not directly so?"

"I went to dinner with my wife on Mother's Day and even with the large volume of people things went great. The food was the best and the serving time was fast. "Went to Del Frisco's for the first time for my wife's birthday. It was a recommendation from a couple of work associates, and it did not disappoint!! If you are looking to have a dinner here, I recommend setting it up with Damon. He was our server, and did not disappoint. The place was busy, but everything came in a timely manner, and was delicious. The decor of the place is beautiful as an old bank or depository. I will certainly be coming back to this place as often as I can!!!"

"Celebrated our anniversary here this past wednesday and the food and service was phenomenal. The staff really went out of thier way to make sure out anniversary dinner was special. The servers gave us a card and our waiters (Bart & Josh) gave us a free dessert. I highly recommend Del Frisco's for either a special occasion or a classy after work drink. We will be going back soon."

"Went to DF with a client and found the experience to be immensly pleasurable. The service was excellent, not pushy but very attentive. The food, though pricey, was as advertised providing a very memorable experience for all of us. The steak was done to each preference and the side dishes offered a tasty distraction from the beef. I would recommend this for a special occassion - the wine list is about the best you will find and the food just fantastic. My only caution is that you can expect to spend about $100 per guest or more. But for a special night out, well worth it."

"Had a great time, great food but it took them 3 times to get my steak correct so it did not allow my wife and I to eat at the same time. Because of this there were many interruptions at our table. I would definitely go back though because they are very attentive and want you to enjoy yourselves."

"I thought that the food was very good but a little on the salty side. That was not a problem for me but if you are not a heavy salt user, you may not like it.I took a client, and while the attendents were courteous, the service was slow considering the amount of people eating there. That would have been difficult if my client was on a tighter schedule. In case you are entertaining clients, you should note that although I think the restaurant has an elevator, the ladies room is on the second floor. There is a beautiful marble staircase to the second floor but it could be slippery and difficult to manage for an older person. After you get to the second floor, there are 6 more steps up to the ladies room"

"My husband and I celebrated his birthday this weekend at Del Frisco and it was an amazing experience. We plan on bringing our girls next time. Thank you for a great evening. "I'd been to the Del Frisco restaurant in Dallas many years ago, but the one in Philly was much more upscale. I found the service to be impeccable, but my colleague's steak was overcooked which shouldn't happen when you're paying $50 for the steak a la carte. They did comp the dessert and apologized, and had offered to prepare a new steak, but that would have thrown the whole dinner out of synch. The wine list was very impressive but their markup is exorbitant."

"This was our 3rd DelFrisco's meal. The building is massive, formerly an insurance co. home office I think. There is a large vault in the lower area used as a function room. It was relatively quiet on the night we were there-Sunday. They had a special deal that night for couples. Salad, Filet, a crab cake, choice of side & dessert for each person for a total of $99.00 which was a super deal. As always, the service was excellent as was the food. A waiter who was transferred down to Philly from Boston came over to chat once our accents apparently gave us away. We look forward to our next visit to DelFrisco's, hopefully in Chicago."

"The atmosphere was excellent. The spacing of the tables allowed for some privacy, even though the tables around us were occupied. The quality of the steaks was exceptional. We had asparagus, green beans, and au-gratin potatoes for our sides; each one was very good. We also sampled several of the deserts and they too were excellent. DelFrisco's exceeded my high expectations. I am very happy that we decided to celebrate my wife's special birthday there."
