"We used the 50% off March Madness coupon, but would've come here even w/o it. I love the small portion sizes. Allows you to try multiple dishes but not get overstuffed. The presentation quality of all the dishes is outstanding."

"The food was good but the service was a mismatch. First of all, don't use the online reservations because they said they didn't have it (although I brought the email with our reservation number--they said they couldn't access it.) The servers started bringing out all the food but forgot about our special bread orders. So they came in the middle of the meal. We may or may not go back."

"Having lived in Spain we didn't expect authentic, and that's pretty much the case, but still better than expected. The boquerones (pickled anchovies) were close to Spanish in flavor, and the chorizo (which, in this case, was a chistorra) was very good--not too greasy, as they often are. Stay away from the tortilla espanola; they got the texture right, but it was flavorless, our guess is the potatoes were boiled and then added to the eggs, and/or they were not sauteed in good-quality olive oil. Nevertheless, the combination of great ambience and good-enough food makes La Tasca worthwhile."

"The food is excellent and well priced. Our only real complaint is the noise level was painfully loud. The restaurant was very crowded on the Saturday night we went and the service was a bit slow, so the noise level became intense. We were seated near the bar on the third level.

The server was quite pleasant and friendly."

"We had dinner there on Saturday night (Valentine's Day). The food was very good. Before heading to the restaurant, I called to find out where to park and was told that there was a lot across the street. The parking would not be free but would be discounted 50 percent I was told. After the dinner when I went to the parking lot, they refused to honor the restaurant's validation on the grounds that we were there a little over three hours. I don't know whether that is the policy of the parking lot or just the parking attendant. I was very disappointed that La Tasca had not given me correct information if there is indeed a three-hour limit for dinner parking."

"A great concept with mediocre execution. The best thing on the menu is the sangria. The paella was underseasoned with overcooked, rubbery calamari. The lamb was overcooked. The cheese plate, risotto and the chicken skewers were very good. After 3 of us finished 9 tapas, we went to Liberty Tavern to satiate our appetites. We will not return except for maybe sangria and a cheese plate."

"we were there for lunch at 12:30 and we were the only table there! There was one person at the bar but she left shortly after we arrived. It was lonely! A few more tables came in after 1:00 and then the only server working was so busy he didn't get to our table as often as we would have liked. Overall though the food there is alwasy fabulous."

"Delicious food in a really fun atmosphere! We always love to go here and get tapas and sangria. You can order a ton of small items and share around the table. I've been when they have live flamenco dancing around the room. It's definitely fun! I recommend sitting on the top level instead of the bottom if you can. Made a reservation with Open Table and got sat right away on a Saturday night!"

"Despite being a chain (which usually frightens me away), La Tasca has a warm, homey feel to it. The tapas are delicious and really reasonably priced. There are some standard favorites (patatas bravas, etc.), but the menu also has some unique items that I haven't seen before. I'd definitely go back. The only downside is that we went during restaurant week and it was jam packed and loud. But that may be just because of the event going on."

"I've always loved La Tasca. Usually everytime I go, I get a glass of the Cava Sangria, the Tapas version of the paella valenciana and the gambas al ajillo. This time though, it looks like they're under new management or are trying to change their menu. I can't say that I'm as impressed by the place anymore. The cava sangria did not have as much cava in it as usual and seemed to be a bit watered down with grape juice. The garlic shrimp was good, they were smaller (but more) shrimp, no tails in a little bit of a different oil sauce than usual. They were good, but just not the same. The paella, well, it wasn't paella. It was more of a soupy seafood mess with a little bit of short rice instead of the crispy long rice. More food, less quality."

"Great tapas and service. My only complaint is with OpenTable. I requested a table for 8 at 6PM. OpenTable's reply replied that the closest time I could get was 5:45PM. When I arrived at 5:30PM the restaurant was almost completely empty. We were there for 2 1/2 hours and the restaurant was never more than 1/3 full. So I still don't know what the matter was with 6PM. I had to adjust the reservation later so I just called the restaurant. Recommend folks do the same."

"We got there about a half hour before our reservations and they were able to seat us. The restaurant is three floors and it was the Thanksgiving weekend, so there were plenty of seats. You would think our seating would have been better having reservations and having plenty of seats open, but instead, we got put at a two person table literally squeezed in between the kitchen door and the elevator! I know we could have asked to not sit there, but you would think one wouldn't have to do that. Anyway, after we got over the seating, we commenced to enjoying an absolutely DELICIOUS meal! Everything we ordered was delicious, quickly served and reasonably priced. The waitstaff was attentive. The over all ambience was very unique."
