"We felt rushed by staff on Mother's Day to hurry up and clear the table for turn over; had to insist we wanted to stay a bit longer to chat; culture clash?
Food and sangria were AMAZING..and would have been 5 starts had everything arrived in time without us having to ask repeatedly, "where's our food/ drinks?"
I will return for the food with the understanding that the sobremesa simply does not exist in American restaurants; nevermind the Spanish theme....<sigh>"

"I am in love with La Tasca. It is a special treat for whenever I am in town and I always make time to have an amazing dinner there. The food and service are consistently good. They changed up the menu and put new goodies up for tasting! The only downside to this restaurant is the noise! It can be very overwhelming and gets louder the later it gets! But if you don't mind it, then this is a great place with delicious food and super service!"

"Great restaurant for larger groups. There were 8 of us and their "party" menu was a great option for all of us to try 12 different tapas. They were spaced well throughout our dining experience so we werent overwhelmed. The sangria was definitely the highlight though!"

"The food was quite tasty and the La Tasca branded sangria was superb. The only complaint was how long it took for our table of 3 to receive service. We were seated and given menus to review, and were not approached for service until close to 15 minutes after sitting down. The only reason we were even approached at that point is because we just started stopping anyone who worked there while they were passing by our table who our server was. After that, everything was fine though."

"Graciously accommodated our party of 14 following placement of an early morning Open Table reservation. We had the 8 piece sharing menu that came in two waves of four. Folks raved about the pork tenderloin, the calamari was served cool/cold and the chicken was likely reheated from a prior service (dry). While the premise is small bites it shouldn't be confused with classic tapas.
Aside from our large party, the restaurant was almost empty between noon and 1:30 on a Thursday. Noise wasn't an issue."

"Even though it was a Saturday evening, I had no trouble making a reservation, and we got a good table. Our waiter was friendly and helpful in making suggestions on food and drinks. We had a pitcher of watermelon sangria, which didn't have as much of a kick as the white sangria I had at the bar while I waited for my guest, but our waiter spiced it up for us. This was my third time at this particular La Tasca (I've also been to the one in Chinatown twice) and I had good food and good service each time."

"Sangria was fabulous. Our dinner order was incorrect & when we questioned the waiter, he argued with us & said that it was. He walked away & didnt come back to check on us. When he finally came back we again told him it was not what we ordered We waited over 45 minutes & wasn't about to wait 45 more. They did comp our bill but was very poor service. Will not go back."

"We had a family gathering at La Tasca to try tapas for the first time. The service was terrible. It took us one hour just to get appetizers and salads to the table. When food finally arrived, the order was not complete. We were understanding the first hour because the restaurant was packed but it cleared out and the food still took way too long to arrive. It was very unfortunate because the restaurant was cute and the food was pretty good. We probably won't go back to this restaurant."

"Our experience during restaurant week was very disappointing! we were enticed by the unlimited tapas special. However, upon arrival we were told it may be quite a while until any food arrived after ordering. We were then read a list of items that were no longer available (happened to be the ones we really wanted to try). The food had no real flavor and was very disappointing. Also witnessed the bartender pour two different wines into my fiancés glass after emptying the bottle we'd ordered and filling remainder with a completely different wine. Waiters were giving out tapas people had ordered to different tables; basically a free for all! Overall, very disappointed!!"

"Food was good, service was pretty bad. When we got there we were one of 2 tables there and it still look the waiter almost 10 minutes to come over after we sat down. We had all you can eat tapas and they took our first order then didn't take the order for our 2nd plates until we were almost done with the first. Which means we had to wait another 15 mins until our 2nd plates arrived. When it was finally brought to the table they always gave the food to the wrong person which meant we had to decipher what it was then pass it around the table. Otherwise, food was good and hot."

"Service was mostly good; our server was nice and helpful but disappeared when we were done and wanted to leave so we sat there for about 10 minutes waiting for her to return. The food was good, but I don't think it's worth full price normally. Also, I got a drink that the description says has cinnamon sticks in it; when it didn't, I asked and she said they are in the full batch in the kitchen. Interesting, because it didn't taste like cinnamon at all."
