Every Monday evening Jan.-March make plans to attend "Evening in the Colonial Kitchen,” featuring cooking demonstrations, a special Colonial-style menu, musical entertainment, and historical characters. Private function space is available.
"The buffet was way over priced for what you got. Most of the food was bland and cold. Presentation of the food was sloppy and unappetizing. I wouldn't need to go back."

"I didn't realize it was going to be a buffet setup, maybe I missed it in the description due to Mothers Day. Regardless, the food was very good, the service was timely for our drinks, and everyone thought it was nice. I've eaten there in years past and have no problem recommending it"

"We took my mom there for Mother's Day and they had a huge buffet brunch. There were so many options to pick from - and all very tasty. I will be back!"

"The food was good, the service was great, however, we went for Mother's Day brunch after seeing a flier which advertised the brunch at the reasonable price of $21.95. Imagine our surprise when we got the bill and found it was $32.95 instead. Of course, we did not have the original flier with us so no recourse but to pay the bill and leave. I really do like the restaurant but this was a little disappointing."

"Had a lovely dinner with friends. We were seated in a pleasant room overlooking Peddler's Village. Our waitress was attentive and our food arrived without delay and was very delicious. From our shared appetizer and then salads we were always being taken care of. What else can you say about dinner when there were four empty plates. Each dinner was very tasty and satisfying. Even though we were all fully sated, we could not resist desert and we were not disappointed. Would always recommend this dining experience to anyone."

"Our Hostess and waitress were extremely friendly and efficient. The meal was served quickly. We did not feel rushed through our meal. It was a special treat for my birthday. Hope to come to the Thurs. feast."

"I should have stuck with one of my perennial favorites like the beef burgundy or chicken pot pye, but I went for the special - coffee rubbed sirloin with garlic chived mashed and lemon asparagus. The steak was chewy and fatty, the potatoes, although good flavor, had the consistency of pureed baby food, and too much lemon overwhelmed the asparagus.Oh, and the waitress forgot my special potato, ham and cabbage soup. But, at least she didn't charge me for it, so I kept quiet. On the other hand, my wife's chicken Florentine was very good. The deserts also were good. We dine here three or four times a year. I just have to stay with the proven menu items."

"Choose this resturant because you offered prime rib. No others had that listed on menu. It was out of this world, cooked to perfection. Highly recommended. YUM"

"Group of 7 no problem, Kids no problem, Food was very good. Server was a little young and inexperienced but was a learner and very helpful. I had Roast Duck which was two legs and thighs roasted together so that the skin was crispy and the meat was very tasty. Had three grandchildren (ages 3-7) with us and the server made it fun for them."

"Food was excellent. The onion soup had a wonderful flavor . The prime rib and the filet mignon cooked to perfection. The staff was very friendly and attentive . The portion of food was very generous. I preferred a baked potato instead of mashed and was given the substitution with no problem. Will be going back again with friends and would recommend to friends also. Prices are very reasonable."

"My wife and I ordered one of the specials of the night. My wife's steak was very poor, she doesn't normally complain about her meals but she had to return the steak. She had the pork chop instead, which was very good.
My steak was fair but not worthy of being a special selection."

"Had the filet mignon, it was probably not the best cut of filet I ever had, but it was tastey. There were some noisey kids in the restaurant wich deterred from the romantic ambiance. Please take you kids to Chucky Cheese or Pizza Hut, not to a historic colonial inn!"

"It was a very nice dining experience the food was outstanding the service was very good and it was just a really nice place to go. The fact that there are so many shopping outlets on the same site made it a very enjoyable trip. They also have a Murder Mystery dinner a couple of nights a week."
