Rio Rodizio is an all-you-can-eat dining experience like no other. Sit back, relax, and enjoy this popular Brazilian, Rodizio-style barbecue, where perfectly seasoned cuts of beef, pork, filet mignon, chicken, ham, turkey wrapped in bacon, and Brazilian sausage are slow-roasted on large skewers. "Great experience, lovely atmosphere, the salad bar is amazing and has lots of choices. The waiters bring you seconds of whatever meat you want. It gets pretty loud and tight between the tables, but the food is worth it1"

"I would have given them higher marks for food, but I like my meats on the medium rare side and most of their were well done. the sushi was amazing though, give them 5 stars for the sushi 3 stars for the rodizio, I would be back for the rodizio again if I knew that I could getthe meats not so over cooked. I just moved up here from Florida and there was a rodizio place by my house andI was a 6 or 7 time a month regular, Iwould love to find one up here, that could be my new regular spot. this place was pretty good, the food was seasoned perfectly, like I said my only complaint was that some of the meat was over cooked, the flank steak andthe beef ribs were awesome though."

"I went to Rio Rodizio for my husband's birthday. The hostess Ashley was really accommodating and friendly. The atmosphere was great, with music playing in the background. The food selection was more than expected! The server warned us not to eat too much from the buffet because there were over 15 choices of meat to try. He was right! The food was tasty and plenty. I will definitely go back again. We had a great time!"

"I found the food to be okay. it wasn't all that great. I've been to other places that serve rodizio and I find them to be a little bit more tastier then this place. Many of the meats being served lacked flavor.
The bananas were not served fresh. Also the Sangria lacked flavor. It almost tasted like juice.They were sitting in a bowl full of grease in the buffet area.
I have to say the ambiance and service was very good. Don't think this place was worth the drive for my husband nor I."

"The service was horrible and the food was nothing special. I have been to several Brazilian restaurants like this and they were all excellent. The meat was slow to come out of the kitchen, was sometimes overdone, and there was not a wide variety. The waiters dropped fat and meat juice all over our table and in my water glass and never even acknowledged it. There was a lack of cohesiveness among the staff, which was noticeable when we had to ask 3-5 times for fries that were hot, drink refills, and the check. The experience was disappointing, the dining room was very dark and very loud, and the prices were too high to justify a return."

"The rodizio was better than most places in Newark , it was not over salted like most places in Newark, and the selection of meat was great. Will defiantly go again. One thing I did not like is having gratulity of 15% added to the check for a party of 4. It' was an insult. People do know how to tip these days."

"Upon entering Rio Rodizio of Union, My party and I were greeted by a very attentive young woman who promply took us to our table, Our Waiter for the evening showed up soon after and took our drink order and gave us a little breakdown on what was offered for dinner. We had the rodizio, and except for a particulary over-seasoned ribeye, everything was cooked very well, and enjoyed. The atmosphere is somewhat noisier then I was used to, but not so loud that it detracted from the meal. Overall a very good value for the money, and I will be dining there again shortly...."

"I had passed by rio rodizio many times and wanted to try it. Three of us had dinner there on Thursday. We enjoyed the extensive salad bar, the experience, quality and taste of the skewered meat and the sangria very much. The only suggestion I have for improving the experience is to have a bit more initial orientation of how the process works to best enjoy the experience."

"This is an all you can eat restaurant and the food is really good. My husband and I enjoyed it very much. This restaurant have to work in their service and attention to the customer,even thought the restaurant was not busy they did not care to give some attention. The exception were the waiters that bring the meat to your table, they are friendly. We wanted to drink coffee at the end of the dinner, we have to wait a long period to order it and when we finally get it, mine was cold. I believe if they get more friendly and better service this can be a good place for special occasion as the food is excellent."
