"The food was delicious however our waitress left much to be desired. She messed up our daughters order but implied our daughter ordered wrong! She never once apoligized and the manager instructed her to give us a free dessert, so she asked if we wanted something off the dessert menu not informing us it was for the inconvenience, we said too full, she then told us about the freebie, so we ordered, ate it, then she made a catty comment about how full we said we were. She needs to be put in her place!"

"Our waitress was amazing. I requested a window booth overlooking the falls in my booking at that was accommodated without question. I had steak ad lobster. Lobster lacked flavour. Wife had buttermilk fried chicken sandwich which was entirely flavourless. Steak was however cooked to perfection and the coconut shrimp were amazing!"

"My wife and I enjoyed the view and the quiet noise level which enabled us to enjoy the meal. The service was very good. The only minor issue is that we ordered steaks "medium well" but they were well done. Still, the steaks were very tender and our overall experience was great."

"My husband and I celebrated a special anniversary at the Canyon Creek Restaurant. We had a wonderful window table which gave us a terrific view of the falls. The ambiance was wonderful and the service outstanding. The steaks and vegetables were cooked to perfection. My husband ordered a blue cheese sauce that overwhelmed the flavor of the steak. If you like a sauce with your steak, order it "on the side". We were surprised when they brought us champagne to 'celebrate' and it was really good! We are early diners, so we were finishing when the noise level began to increase dramatically. I can't imagine carrying on a conversation after 8pm."

"We celebrated our 10th anniversary at Canyon Creek last week. Our meal was spectacular!
We both ordered the Prime Rib; my husband the 22oz and I the 12oz. It was delicious!
Super tender and flavorful. I could have drank the horseradish cream sauce that came with it.

"Difficult to find, on phone told "We're in the Galleria"-at the casino. Galleria is huge and no signage allowed since restaurant not owned by Casino. Website needs to give directions. Prepare for a long walk from casino parking to finding it!"

"My wife had the salmon, and I had the rib steak. Each was competitively priced, and cooked as requested and expected. We shared a bottle of wine which was nice and, again, competitively priced for any area, and especially Niagara Falls, Ontario.
We have eaten at Canyon Creek several times, never been disappointed and, moreover, never felt as though the bill wasn't well-earned and reasonable.
Compare that to the Skylon and Ruth's Chris restaurants at the Fallsview area, the former having heinous food for its price point, and the latter being an unabashed rip-off and you will see that Canyon Creek is a go-to type restaurant for the area."

"We eat at the Niagara Falls Canyon Creek often,compared to the Casino restaurants it offers good value for money. We like the fact you can order an entree that comes with a salad at less than thirty dollars,also we love the Thursday evening special of a bottle of wine for twenty-five dollars,it was a great deal on a bottle of Flat Rock Cellars Pino Noir which complemented the sirloin steaks with chipotle dressing perfectly."

"We had a great time after the show at Avalon Theatre in Fallsview Casino Resort. I assume everybody went to the Buffet restaurant in the Casino, so the Canyon Creek was not so crowded and we were very lucky. The restaurant was pretty reasonable and very quiet, so we really enjoyed."

"booked for view stuck in back room. not busy no reason to be stuck in back room with no view and only online options for time were 5:45 or 8:30. server annoying Her pad and paper and counting chairs to write down order was hysterical. She was messed up when we changed seats so kids could sit together had to count all over again. one of the side orders was incorrect she pulled out her chart and said no it was right that's what the order was. no she wasn't we all heard the order but her. she insisted she was correct she was very slow with drink orders and appetizers. should also offer Bernaise sauce Nothing to compensate for the steak over spiced. love cc but will definitely go to the keg where there is a view from every table"

"We arrived for an 8:30 reservation and were promptly seated at a corner booth overlooking Niagra Falls. It was my first glimpse of the falls, lit by 15,000 light bulbs. Spectacular! My salmon entree was quite good, followed by an excellent shared slice of fluffy cheesecake with a pecan crust. The bottle of Austrailian Shiraz at $25, was a great accompaniment to a memorable meal."

"The service that I received was horrible. I waited for over an hour for my food, and when we brought it to the attention of the kitchen manager nothing was done, and the manager blamed the staff. I have been a regular customer at canyon creek for years, and after this unprofessional service and experience I will NOT be returning. Nothing was done to compensate myself and my party. Very rude and unprofessional."

"Our request for a table by the window was accomodated and we were seated immediately. Everything about our experience was good, but it wasn't anything out of this world. I was expecting a nicer restaurant. I knew it was in the casino and in a tourist area, but I thought people may be dressed a little better and the experience to be somewhat higher class.
Our steaks were cooked as ordered, and the side dishes were good as well. Service was good.
One thing I didn't like was that two girls kept walking around the restaurant, doing some kind of count. Each had a clipboard and I felt like we were being watched the whole time.
For what we ordered, I would have preferred to go to Ruth's Chris or Morton's."

"A lovely place for a special occasion dinner! We are tourists who decided to fine at Canyon Creek on our first night in Niagara Falls (and our first night in Canada!) & it was a lovely way to begin our trip! Food was delicious, service was top notch & we appreciated greatly the special effort made by the wait staff when they were informed that we were celebrating my mom's 50th birthday! Thank you for a delicious, beautiful & unhurried night - will def recommend this place to friends & family :)
On a side note, our waiter was really excellent! So attentive without being the least bit intrusive & he really made us feel so welcome! One of the best & most heartfelt service we've encountered in awhile. Thank you for making our night so lovely!"

"The food was decent and it came pretty fast. It was really dark in the restaurant though so it was a but hard to see. The only problem I had was that we specified a table where we could see the falls as my boyfriend is from Miami and it was his first time here. It was never acknowledged and we were sat at a table with partial view from only one side of the table. "A friend who used to live and work in Niagara Falls said you had the best steak in town. He was right! And fantastic service and an unbelievable view of the Falls from the outdoor deck. I have been here two days and eaten here two days, and the second time around I brought friends, who were equally impressed! Can't wait to come back a third time!"

"Went for a birthday dinner and it exceeded my expectations in every way.... Perfect scenery of the Falls, excellent wait staff (Kelly) and very knowledgeable of the menu!!!!!
The meal came quickly - but not too quick so as to give enough time to enjoy a predinner drink. I ordered the prime rib and it was delicious - melt in your mouth and my other guest ordered the NY cut steak... grilled to his liking and melted in his mouth as well. The free birthday desert - banana cocunut pie topped of the meal!
Will definately go back and will recommend to others!!"

"I thought the food was above average and our waitress was really good. My only complaint was approximately 20 seconds after our appetizers were cleared our main dish came out. There was also a host walking around (about 6 times) in the 1.5 hour that we were there checking the status of the tables. I found that they were really rushing to open up tables - this is acceptable at breakfast diners but not at steakhouses for dinner. Overall, the experience was good, nice server, great food and my only complaint is the feeling of getting pushed out the door."

"Canyon Creek Chophouse is a chain with an expected steakhouse menu. What you will write home about is the spectacular view of Niagara Falls. The Niagara location is in The Fallsview Casino, and there isn't a bad view in the house. The service was sophisticated, warm, and genuine. There was a small error in my meal, and management bent over backwards to correct the mistake, offering me a new dish, comping my entree, and offering a gift certificate for my next visit. The mark of a great restaurant isn't how perfectly the dining experience is executed - it's how errors are dealt with when there has been a mis-step in execution. 'Canyon Creek' in the Fallsview Casino dealt with the error flawlessly, and left me with a great impression."

"Took my mom for dinner on her 77th birthday. I had made reservations ahead of time via Open Table and requested a table with a great view of the falls for the occasion. I think we had the best table in the place, views of both Horseshoe and American Falls. Waitress immediately acknowledged my mom's birthday without us mentioning and thru in a free dessert. Pumpkin brullee decisious as usual. Mom had Prime Rib and I had Rib Eye. Both cooked exactly the way we asked. Waitress was excellent, attentive and enthusiastic! I eat at this location at least once a month and find the food consistently good."

"Our server was top notch, but the food was just not as good as expected. The steaks were cooked properly, but lacked flavour as did the mushrooms. For a similar price, I would go to the Keg next time because I find the flavours are better there. The view is also amazing and likely even better at dusk/night. Overall not bad, but wouldn't go back."
