Zinc is a lively three level bistro in Historic Nob Hill. Featuring an open, urban ambiance, Zinc offers casual fine dining on the main level and the loft mezzanine. For those looking for an exciting show, the exhibition bar offers seats right along the open kitchen. The menu focuses on high quality - yet affordable - American bistro fare and utilizes seasonal ingredients, many of which are sourced from local farmers. The Cellar Bar offers the same extensive wine list and premium cocktails as the upstairs, but in a more intimate lounge atmosphere with a lighter menu. The Cellar also showcases live music on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday nights, and a DJ every Friday. Visit www.zincabq.com for menus, pictures, and upcoming events!

"We were seated immediately, as always seems to happen with an OpenTable reservation. The restaurant was full, but service was timely. They had their "tasting menu," with a three-course dinner for $25.00, an exceptional deal. The food met an upscale bistro standard, and the "Old World Red" wine flight was very well-chosen. A very good experience."

Review 2 for Zinc Wine Bar & Bistro
Overall Rating
(Very Good)
"During restaurant week we visited 4 sites. Zinc was the best. Artichoke and Brasserie La Provence did not live up to the advance billing. Both were disappointing. The other restaurant we visited was ethnic, so not comparable.
Service at Zinc was just better than ok with a young newbie waiter. The food was very good and we were surprised by extra entre choices. My duck eggrolls were superb. My wife's salad was ok. I had lamb, very good, my wife had sea bass, also very good. The deserts were geared to restaurant week and were just ok, but we still think the overall quality of food beat everyone else. Artichoke and Brasserie really need to get their acts together. For now, I'm done with them. I'm heading to Zinc."

Review 13 for Zinc Wine Bar & Bistro

"Really good experience, especially with the waiter, who was very helpful in suggesting a wine, and even brought us some very tiny samples to try before we ordered (they serve many wines by the glass and half glass there, so I thought he was really being thoughtful in bringing us just a taste to help us decide). He also suggested a lovely Tattinger champagne that came by the glass or half glass, which was lovely.
He also gave us just the right service--was there when we needed him, but otherwise left us alone.
And the food was good, as always."

"Had the special three penne pasta with sausage. The spices were so hot that it made the meal difficult to enjoy. Too much for even myself and I dine on almost any cuisine. Visit was on a business trip...doubt that I'll return or bring business guests to Zinc."
