Bar Cento, located in historic Ohio City, offers a creative European-inspired menu that focuses on regional and sustainable ingredients sourced from local farms and purveyors. The cuisine is served with a rustic presentation inside the sophisticated yet comfortable dining room, accented with haute-bucolic décor and a sixteen seat bar built using wood from a reclaimed Amish barn. Our award winning seasonal menu is complimented by an extensive and carefully prepared wine list. Bar Cento, recently touted as having the best pizza in Ohio by Food Network, serves food till 2am every day of the year. Come check out one of the premier dining destinations in Cleveland.
Bar Cento complements the international flavor of McNulty's Bier Markt, a Belgian beer bar right next door on West 25th Street.
"Honestly a good atmosphere and hip place to grab a drink or food... Had the marinated olives, pizza, and 2 different pasta dishes and nothing overwhelmed us. Much tastier options in the area but a nice place anyway."

"Had dinner on a busy Sat evening. Service was attentive, informative. Great people watching venue if you sit facing street. Touted as having "best pizza in State by Food Network" Very good. Dessert even better, if possible...."

"First time there, and definitely will not be the last! The house fries were great! Followed that up with sunny side pizza with bacon! These probably the 2 best items on the menu! Service was extremely fast, friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere a very upbeat, load but not to where you could not hold a conversation. A return trip is on the works for sure!"

"I have never been to bar cento before. The food was very good. There were a ton of drink and wine selections. I also loved the option of choosing a flight. It has a great location right in ohio city so you can walk to other bars etc after dinner. I would definitely go there again. Oh and my server Brandon was great!"

"My wife, son & I and our friends and their son had an outstanding time when we visited Bar Cento. Our server Lindsay made the experience absolutely fantastic! Her knowledge of the beer list and all the various nuances between them was impressive. A couple of beers were out of stock but Lindsay could recommend and describe another beer that had similar characteristics. Her description of menu selections was also wonderful! This was our first visit, and we all walked out saying we would definitely like to come back again. I can honestly say a large part of what made our experience so enjoyable, was the fact that we had Lindsay as our server. We were also impressed with the atmosphere of the restaurant and bar area. Wonderful experience!"

"Fun atmosphere and tasty food. Two things that makes Bar Cento stand out are the great service and the extensive beer selection. Combine the two and you get a waiter who can help you select the perfect beer. We had a party of 5 on Saturday night. We were seated next to a loud speaker and the staff was very willing to turn it down. When my wife was cold they shut the front door. Truly outstanding customer service. Our waiter was excellent - patient with all of our requests. Pizzas are excellent."

"We live about an hour from Cleveland and typically go to another restaurant in Ohio City when we visit. We thought we'd try something different and we were not disappointed. The appearance is that of a smaller establishment, but this place is very large and has 3 distinct sections, all with its own bar and character. We had some appetizers and specialty pizzas which were all very good. The service from Eric was excellent."

"Got here fairly early on a Friday night. Service seemed slow - especially for getting and then later refilling drinks. I was surprised because the place still seemed fairly empty. The French fries were not as good as I remembered from my last visit - they were greasey and cold, like they had sat around and not brought out fresh. The mushroom pizza, however, was delicious. Although I had always been enthusiastic about this place in the past I must admit that this trip left me a little disappointed, particularly with the service."

"We were seated right next to the kitchen window so had to talk above the servers yelling for their orders. The food was good, but our table was less than desirable."

"Totally underimpressed by the food, which was a disappointment. Only 1 of our 3 meals hit the mark. Waitress raved about the Bolognese, which was a new feature. I ordered it and I got a pile of pasta that was fused together because no one stirred it while it was cooking in the water, and the Bolognese sauce had very little flavor. We also ordered a gnocchi dish that had 5 little pieces of gnocchi. And a pizza that was overpowered by garlic. The sea bass was good.
The ambiance was great. I'm sure the owners are printing cash as it looked like every square inch was occupied, which is great to see. Only concern was the revolving door of cops that kept coming/going all night."

"We really liked the service, bar and atmosphere. However, we were very disappointed with the food quality. Unfortunately, bad food trumps the positives. We will not return."

"Our group for four dined here before a Cavs game. Food was good, and just so happened that most of what we wanted was on their INCREDIBLE happy hour list. So their burger which is normally $12 was $5. Great house wine pours for $5. Pizza I had was also on the list, $5! Highly recommend for happy hours."

"Bar Cento is one of the great dining spots in Cleveland. The chef's commitment to local meat and produce is significant and year-round, not just during peak growing months. What the kitchen produces: from housemade charcuterie and cheeses to every salad and entree puts them in a leaugue of their own. If you care about farm to table and really good food this is a place you must visit."

"I ordered the sea bass and it was great. The only thing that confused me was that it was listed as an Italian restaurant, and aside from pizza, didn't offer much in the way of Italian cuisine."

"Service & food are always amazing! Pizzas never disappoint. This place truly is awesome. You grab a pizza & hang out with friends or have a nice leisurely romantic dinner. The menu covers everyone from vegan to meat lover. Servers are smart, witty & hip without being full of themselves. Can not say enough good things."

"We use to attend Bar Cento every other week- the food was consistently delicious and we were always satisfied. However, this past time we went, we'd noticed the appetizer of mussels that we have ordered routinely for the past couple years have shrunk in size... but the real disappointment was when my husband ordered the Cavetelli- he didn't want to get a happy hour pizza for the 6$ because he worried it wouldn't fill him up. So he ordered a full price dinner and received maybe a handful of noodles with some bits of sausage. It was tasty, he said, but he felt like it was an appetizer portion. Things just seem to get smaller and smaller and their price stays the same... it's difficult to accept because we know how good it use to be."

"Awesome menu. Great list of wines and Belgian beers. Definitely a nice spot. If making a reservation, note if you don't want a high top--they are located in the hall next to the kitchen window. Not an awesome spot if you don't want to see the kitchen all night and talk over them."

"I was unimpressed by the food and the prices were not reasonable for what you get. $12 for a mediocre plate of fries and $12 for a burger is not value. There are a lot of other similar restaurant selections in the area that will give you even better tasting food at a more affordable price, like Touch Supperclub, for example."
