"Macadamia nut crusted chicken is exceptional, and the waiter graciously split the meal for my wife and I. Desserts are the key items, and we had the passion fruit creme brulee and red velvet cupcake, both exceptional. A few nice Malbec's on the menu, reasonably priced. Not the best wait service, but good. Restaurant originally said we were no shows on our reservations. The kitchen bails out the poor management at this place. The food is worth it."

"Went here for my birthday on a Saturday evening. Because the bar sscene was so packed, I had no problem getting an instant reservation for 14 at arrival. Potstickers are amazing. Drinks kinda lack favor. Staff was very friendly. Scenary is amazing. Would go back"

"The Food at Kona was excellent, all fresh and served hot. Very Tropical!
We had Sushi (regular and rolls), Tomato Bisk (really good), Caesar Salad and Meatloaf (yes, they have a wide menu – this one is AWESOME “Big Island Meatloaf”) along with brownie and red velvet cake and coffee. All was VERY GOOD.
All food was prepared fresh, taste was excellent. For Three People tab was $92.00 (pre tip, no booze)
Prices are average - Entrée’s run about $15.00 = $18.00, Rolls about $10:00 - $12:00, soups and salads about $5.00. Sushi was $5.00 - $7:00 for two pieces.
Atmosphere was good (we sat inside in the dining area). They also have a Sushi Bar, regular bar area and an outside patio.
Will go back for sure!"

"Nice atmosphere, delicious food (we had the spinach dip, pork tenderloins, and the hibiscus cocktail), and awesome waitress! Very good experience. Can't get happy hour specials in the restaurant though so that kind of stinks and the happy hour line for the bar and patio was extreme so we went in to eat, and moved on to the next spot"

"I went on a first date here. It was fabulous!!! We had reservations at 7:15 and when we walked in at 7:15, our table was waiting for us! The service was great, food was delicious, and wine menu was exactly what we had hoped :) very good experience and will definitely be going back!! If going out on a Friday or Saturday night, make reservations. You will be happy you did!!"

"Once again outstanding food and service. We had a wonderful young man waiter that said that it was hiis first evening. If he had not said anything we would of never known. He was great very professional, knew the different foods, wine etc. Genuinely a treat to have someone so great with people and thrilled with his job, a true gem.
We took a couple with us that never have been. They luved all and specially the food."

"Pleasant staff, great menu options, and delicious food. We dined for just the kona chopped salad and the grilled ribeye burger, both perfect and delicious. Avoid the red velvet cake, it tastes like boxed cake and is way overloaded with low grade cream cheese type frosting. It's not dessert, it's diabetes served on a plate. Stick with the entrees, those are yummy."
