"Food was excellent and served Hot. Waiter was very knowledgeable about their menu and helped one of our party with her order and she was very pleased."

"Food was not up to usual quality. Perhaps the restaurant is on the decline as it also was not very busy for a Saturday night (or maybe people were just away for school vacation). Normally, Kona has one of the best burgers around. On this night, it was one of the worst, tasting like it had been prepared a couple of days before and reheated (or just sat under the heat lamp way too long waiting for the rest of the order to catch up). Other items were good, although special lobster/shrimp dish was also not very good."

"This is the worse dinning experience I had in a long long time. While I admit it was an impulsive choice, I never expected the our cocktails would be "prefabricated" and our sushi would be small chunks of fish over huge ball of rise. The only thing that pass the test was the sake. Kona Grill is a never again case for me."

"To be fair, I do not normally eat at chain restaurants due to the uninspired, generic menu that is offered. I like foods that are specialized in a region, that cannot be replicated just anywhere. I was here for a business lunch and the client chose the location.
The menu seems to lean towards sushi and fish so I went with the sushi. It was fine - nothing spectacular but eatable. If in a pinch would I eat here again? Yes. But being the food snob that I am, I would pick a more of a neighborhood spot if given the chance."
