Our waitress was unfriendly, never smiled, and gave little extra attention, had to flag down for condiment as she didnt deliver our food and didnt come back for some time. thinking she didnt want to be working Friday night or me and my two kids 10 and 12 were not going to be a large tab. Anyway we will be back as this was the first time with poor service. Hopefully only poor experience."

"We were for a special dinner there, celebrating my husband’s 50 B-day. Food and atmosphere were good. Yet, the service that night was not that impressive. There was no any acknowledgement from the staff on that special occasion; we left your restaurant feeling that we were rushed out. Therefore, we had appetizers, drinks and main dishes course; yet, we were in - out in one hour. Also, our table looked over hauled with both full and empty plates; we had main dishes served while we were still working on our appetizers. By the time, we were done with our main dish; bill was already waiting on our table. I am a little bit disappointed. Yet, from future perspective, we are planning to come back again just not for a special occasion."

"we were there an hour before we finally figured out the waitress had not put in our order. The manager came over and apologized which we appreciated.....offered us free dessert and coffee.....finally our food came...our chicken was very good...but the fish my friend order was not eatable.....once again the manager apologized....we all ordered the free key lime pie.....dessert came....it didn't taste like key lime pie....the waitress came over and OMG....the people in back had given her the banana cream pie....by this time we were so frustrated at the whole experience...we just wanted out. She said they make the mistake with the keylime all the time!!! FIGURE IT OUT THEN!! i don't think we will be back"

"Our server, Jeff, was very attentive and genuine. He had some great recomendations for food. Usually the corwd is pretty adult oriented, but on this particular evening, there were a lot of little kids who were quite loud. It did not sour our experience though. "It was the night of firsts. The first time I used the reserve and the first time I have gone to kona grill. I love trying new place to eat and this is one that I will be heading back to. I really enjoy most of our night, other then having to wait for the waitress to bring our drinks to us on several occasions. She was very nice though and she really was busy, but I had extremely high expectations!!! The food was great and the cost was expected.you know no hidden fees. Great place for ladies night and date night and any other night you have. I enjoyed the macadamia nut crusted chicken, and the presentation was awesome!!!"

"There were five us at the table and three of them ordered the sea bass. They mentioned the sea bass meal tasted different than what they were used to. It could be due to them being on the east coast and used to a different variety of fresh fishes. The macadamia chicken was awesome, however I would put more of the dipping sauce on the plate or be made available.Over all, this is a great place to eat and when I'm in Omaha for business again, I will definately go."

"Food was mediocre. We had a party of 6 and ordered a variety of things including the fried chicken, salmon, 2 flatbreads and some appetizers. The only thing at our table that got a thumb's up was the veggie flatbread. The peanut sauce on with the chicken satay tasted off. I've had many peanut sauces, but this one tasted like peanut butter with one spice in it. Just odd. The fried chicken was just "ok". Nothing amazing. The salmon was the same. For $21 it should have been better and served with better side dishes. One of the sides was rice (a 50 cent item). Service was poor. The waitress was friendly but not focused."

"The sushi is very good there, and I ordered sushi, but I was given the wrong order. They gave me a crab po'boy instead of the soft-shell crab sushi that I ordered.
The meal was delivered by another waiter who must not have told our waiter about the mistake because when our waiter came by to check on the food a minute later, he saw me without food (the three other people with me all had food) and didn't say a word. The other waiter brought back the wrong order and promised the correct one. It never came."

"We had been to Kona Grill numerous times in various locations around the country and took another couple who had never been to the restaurant. Service was very good, and our food and drinks about what we expected - very good. The sea bass was quite tasty, as was the Hawaiian Ribeye. "Was very impressed with service. The rolls I
ordered, at the last minute they realized they were
out of lobster, but the manager came right over and
made everything right. The server was very gracious
as well!!! One of my husband and my favorite places
to dine! We will be back!"
