"Though located in a car park, don't let that fool you, it's a great restaurant for fine dining with impeccable service and an energetic feel to it.
It's not quiet, but the food is excellent. We sat on the terrace at our choice, a great decision, and by the time we left at 9 pm the place was full. Would definitely go again."

"Made a reservation to celebrate birthdays/monther's day and requested a quieter section, and we got a fantastic table with a view of the pond/fountain away from high traffic areas. Server was very helpful describing the various flavors and notes available with various dishes, and everything from reservation to coffee was spot on! I would recommend Ocean Prime, Tampa to anyone looking for a special dining experience serving outstanding cuisine!"

"Our server (Tyler Vanetta) took the time to explain the perpetration process and displayed a genuine concern for any and all concerns. He made this the absolute best restaurant experience we'd ever had. The food was beyond reproach. "We were a disappointed with the service. We had a party of six. When entrees were served, one was missing, another one wrong. It took five minutes to correct the wrong one and over 15 minutes for the missing one, which turned out to be overcooked. The appetizer was EXTRAORDINARILY EXPENSIVE. Given the price we paid, I'd say we were disappointed and don't think that we got good value for the bill. Not likely to go back."

"The food was out of this world! Especially the Jalapeno Lobster Mashed Potatoes! I make it a point to avoid many potatoes because the taste just doesn't satisfy the amount of space it fills in my stomach. As for these, I couldn't resist having 3 servings from the huge dish it was served in. We still only finished half of the potatoes!
The service was excellent up until the very end. I think the waiter could have visited out table a little more often. The first half of dinner was perfect, but I think the last hour probably should have only taken us about 20-30 minutes. The waiter was exceptionally nice and very knowledgeable!
Unfortunately, we left and forgot all of our leftovers. We would definitely recommend this place to others."

"I surprised my husband with a dinner reservation for his birthday. The cocktails & food were all excellent. Our server, Sarah, was excellent--we didn't have to ask for anything! The extra touches (decorating our table with birthday confetti, taking our picture & bringing a piece of cake with a candle in it) made the experience even more memorable."

"love this restaurant as we go both for lunch and dinner. My one and only complaint (hard to find one) was this last lunch it was a bit noisy being in the back room to hold a true business lunch where we needed to hear each other. Food and service were excellent as always. Have had business lunch before in front room and for some reason it was easier to hear. No other issues though."

"Found the restaurant after reading Yelp reviews. Out of town parent of USF graduate---local family hadn't heard of restaurant and now promise to be regulars. Wonderful experience. Staff (Richard, especially!) was incredibly supportive, entertaining, and knowledgeable---would highly recommend Ocean Prime for an amazing special date kind of experience. "After moving to Tampa 3 years ago, we finally made it a point to try Ocean Prime. We went for our 1 year anniversary and it was great. Food was cooked to perfection and the service was second to none. The next time we went we had a bussines dinner, and that was, again, a great experience. "First time we've been to Ocean Prime and it was fantastic. Dining room seemed classy yet modern. Menu was not overwhelming but everything sounded so good we took a long time deciding and probably ordered too much food. Everything we ordered was excellent. Waiter named Guy was excellent, friendly, informative but not too invasive. The place is expensive but totally worth it. We'll be back. It was a Saturday night and we had an early dinner and we were headed to the bar for a drink afterwards but it was packed and jammming, so we had to go elsewhere."

"We were a party of 6 and we had a table in the back. It was way to cold and we complained several times but never got any response. The service was not great and the server needs to learn to smile. We had much better dinner at Ocean Prime before. The food was very very good and we will eat there again."

"Excellent service with friendly and knowledgeable wait staff. Superb dining; the food is prepared perfectly with just the right seasonings. Our professional waiter recommended the perfect wines to pair with the meal. Ambiance and decor is modern, upbeat and extremely classy. Also a vibrant atmosphere without being noisy or losing it's high-end appeal. Highly Recommended!"

"This was my choice for my first wedding anniversary and Ocean Prime did NOT disappoint!! I loved the presentation of everything and the white coats of the waiters (nice touch of class and elegance!!). If i have one knock it would be it was a little noisy and cramped but i can blame it on the live music and the fact that was a Friday night. Other than that i can see myself coming back for special occasions in the future."

"This was our first visit to Ocean Prime and I was so impressed. The Fish and Scallops we had were amazing. Great creative ideas for seafood by the Chef. Calamari was the best ever as an appetizer. Save room for the dessert. Four people split the carrot cake of 10 layers and the Peanut Butter Pie. Peanut Butter pie was over the top!!! Truly an amazing experience and our Server was very attentive to our needs. We will definitely be back again to this amazing restaurant. Love the food and service."

"The waiter was excellent, with one exception. He told us the specials, but didn't tell us the price. My husband ordered the steak special. We were shocked when the price was $60 - which was $18-20 more than the most expensive entrees on the menu. We probably should have asked, but it would have been nice if he'd told us what the cost was when describing the specials. He really sold the steak as being the best thing ever. Unfortunately it wasn't. My husband would have been happier with a filet mignon. That said, the service was good and my scallops were wonderful. Our table was ready immediately and it's clear that they really honor reservations and don't try to jam as many people as possible into the restaurant."
