"The restaurant was just average. There were four of us and we were expecting something special but were disappointed. The food was average at best. A lot of deep fried foods without imagination and just plain ordinary. I live in San Francisco and perhaps my eating habits are healthier than someone from the South but I was not impressed with Ralphs on the Park."

"The brunch at Ralph's is amazing! The chipotle bloody mary is the best I've ever had. Our group tried the crawfish omelette (my favorite), shrimp and grits, duck, and the chicken and waffles and no one was disappointed. We sat in the room right next to the piano player, which made it a truly unforgettable meal. We'll definitely be back soon."

"I had eaten dinner at the restaurant before and thoroughly enjoyed the entire dining experience. My wife and I had Sunday brunch at Ralph's, and the atmosphere, service, and setting were exceptional, as always. The meal itself, however, did not live up to the rest of the experience. The salad was excellent. The entrees, while creative, were very heavy for a mid-day meal, and choices were somewhat limited. While I will certainly eat again at Ralph's in the future, there are better options for Sunday brunch in New Orleans."

"We were at the restaurant in the early evening on a beautiful day, and the wall of windows looking across to the park made the dining experience very nice. The food was very good and we, as visitors from another state, enjoyed the New Orleans type of food. There was a mix up where one of our party received the wrong entree and waited about 10 minutes after we had our food to get the right entree. THe manager appeared and apologized for the mistake, but the waitress either never knew of the mistake or never acknowledge it to us.
We liked the fact that the inside was pretty and the noise level was moderate so that we could easily converse."

"We went with a group of 10 for a celebratory family dinner. Everything was great. The food was delicious and interesting. The service was perfect. He never seemed rushed, flustered or slow. Everyone had the attention they needed and delicious food.
It is hard to serve a big group and keep the meal well paced and make everyone happy. But they did just that to make our evening special."

"Went for Sunday brunch. Had the root vegetable soup with goat cheese which was delicious. Also the crawfish omelette was very good - tasty and not too rich. The chicken fried veal was probably the best dish on our table. Service was good if a little stiff. All of the staff did their job but could have been a little friendlier and welcoming. However, food was very good and we love the atmosphere so will be back."

"Ralph's was a surprise to us. It had been well reviewed, but looked to us like a pleasant southern County Club restaurant - somewhere you'd take your grandma for Mother's Day brunch - so we weren't expecting to be served some cutting edge, interesting food. The crawfish salad with fresh corn was refreshing and different, and my fried chicken, surrounded by a decadent, rich sauce, topped with crispy collard greens and, yes!, hush puppies was excellent. Cocktails were just okay, but the wine list is good, and the staff couldn't be more gracious and accommodating."

"From the greeting to your departure you are addressed by name and treated as if you are a most special guest.
Service is impeccable as are servers and the entire staff.
Amber was our wait person, her recommendations were excellent and exactly what we were seeking for dinner that evening. The duck breast was outstanding with cherry sauce and our final selection, guided by Amber made the evening Citrus Custard.
Ralph's is ambience, great food and service with an outstanding view of City Park.
Quiet enough to talk with a soft background of piano from the bar which is alway lively.

"Ralph's is one of our favorites. We had our rehearsal dinner there and we got a card in the mail for $100 off our meal to celebrate our anniversary. What a treat!!! We got complimentary champagne as well - We felt treated so well and will continue to give business to a place that values us. Our food was delicious as always. We tried the cheese plate and unfortunately didn't like it, but that's just our taste. Our other appetizers, entrees, and desserts were fantastic. Great, great experience. Thank you for taking such good care of us!"

"Food was good - portions a bit small for entrees. Duck breast was tiny - but tasty. Thermidore over a very trimmed down ribeye was...good but the lobster was cut into small pieces. Overall, for the same menu we might go back because it is close to home. Great wine list and that night, many patrons had thoroughly enjoyed it. If you are under 35 this may not be the right place. We are around 40 and other than some of the staff we were the youngest people there."

"We had reservations and were promptly seated. The waiters were courteous and efficient. There was a family attitude about and everyone appeared to be ebjoying themselves. I was unaware of the valet parking which was a definite plus. altogether an enjoyable experience and will return."

"Enjoyed dinner at Ralph's the other night. Terrific menu with lots of variety. Great specials! Service was perfect - we were there for hours and they never rushed us. Called us a cab when we were ready to leave. Mahi Mahi specil was delicious. Ordered the cheesecake for dessert which tasted more like key lime pie which is why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars."
