MT's Local Kitchen & Wine Bar
Welcome to MT's Local ~ Kitchen & Wine Bar, the new evolution of Michael Timothy's. We have an uncompromising passion for the quality of our product and hospitality. Our cuisine is chef inspired dishes with a creative twist to showcase the best of each product. Everything is made in-house utilizing the freshest ingredients and sourcing product from our abundant local resources. You will find a casual comfortable atmosphere in our dining room and wine bar to enjoy a meal with friends or celebrate a special occasion. Our menu is diverse offering salads, wood grilled pizzas, small plates and appetizers for lighter fare. Our wood grill imparts a unique flavor to our grilled meats and creative twists on meatloaf, pasta and pot roast are dishes you are sure to remember. We offer and extensive wine list of wine from around the world representing the best interpretation of each varietal. If reservations are booked please stop in as we only take limited reservations.

"sidewalk cafe dining on Main street is an option; Hostess did not have my reservation which I had made on Tuesday for Sunday; I introduced myself upon arrival and was told there was no reservation; I pulled it up on my Iphone App and showed it to her. They never bothered to note it in the system;

"We eat at MT's regularly but had never been to brunch there. It was a great meal - enjoyed by all 3 generations at our table. My son requested bacon while in the buffet line and despite not being on the "menu" the owner/chef had a plate sent over to him within minutes. This will be a new family tradition!"

"Hostess very accommodating, we had to push out our reservation due to play we were seeing ran over.
While in the middle of explaining specials, server oddly excused himself to clear another patron's table and bring them their check then returned to go over the rest of the specials. The other table must have been more important than us!
Ordered the steak frites, pesto frites were a greasy congealed mess.
I usually love MT's but for some reason my husband does not.....these mistakes only added to my husband's position on the restaurant."

"We arrived late due to traffic. The hostess was very gracious as we apologized for being so late. Got a great table away from the bar scene (aka no TV sound or screens - yeah). Enjoyed the farm house salad and the scallop special appetizer. Then on to the haddock and a swordfish special. The haddock was wonderful and was our favorite dish.
Finished the meal off with the bananas foster - not traditional but very good.
We would definitely dine here again."

"The soup and dinner salad were great but the lamb special as an entree tasted more like beef! The fresh haddock was over worked. Sitting on top of risotto and surrounded by a tomato sauce. The flavor of the fish was completely lost. I watched our friend picking out the gristle from his rib eye steak. Perhaps we made the wrong choices."

The manager brought a piece of very dry, overcooked meat with no sauce and just placed it on the table after I mentioned the poor entree. Looked more like a food court trying to be upscale. "We had a wonderful meal outside at MT's during the summer, and this was our first time back since then. We enjoyed our meal again! I had seen in the New Hampshire Magazine a picture of the General Tso's Lobster, so I had that for dinner. I liked it overall, but the sauce was a bit too sweet tasting for my liking. My husband got the braised pork shank, and it was delicious and just fell off the bone. I ordered a cappuccino for dessert and was pleased it was hot. Too often I get them just above room temperature it seems. My husband ordered the chocolate cake dessert special, and he really enjoyed it. We love having this restaurant right in downtown Nashua!"

"This is our second time to MT's. The atmosphere is very nice. Small, cozy, comfortable. Not overly trendy, or overly fancy. The service was great. Our waitress was very friendly but not overbearing. I struggled a bit with the menu. I found it a bit over the top. I would have jumped for a basic, well prepared steak. Sometimes it's good to have a safety valve for the less adventurous palettes."

"It was our first time for dinner and it was pretty good. We'd definitely go back. The only reason we rated ambiance a little low is because we were seated in cramped room on the right side of the restaurant, but considering we made reservations on the same date and on the Friday right after Valentines day, it wasn't too bad. Next time I would definitely request to be seated on the other side. My food was excellent. I had the steak frites my husband had the pot roast and he said it was ok."
