"We were very disappointed in the Grilled Oysters, the shell was hot, but there was no sign of grilling in the flavor or texture. This was the main reason we choose this restaurant. also, the onion soup was very peppery."

"We were seated promptly.....but service was slow......waiter was friendly but other tables all round us got there food a long time before we did and they had ordered after we did. We finally inquired about our food and the waiter said a lot of people had ordered the same thing we did and the kitchen was swamped. Not a good answer......just excuse. Too bad because overall we enjoyed the meal. M"

"So sorry to have to give a somewhat negative review. This Resturant should have everything " going fo it" with a chef who experiments with a high level of expertise.we were very disappointed in the Thursday night oysters. The price had been raised but are still a bargain! But, when ordering the gulf oysters ( on special), they came on the platter without ice.they were actually warm. I sent mine back to the kitchen.my entree was grilled cobra which was excellent. The Resturant was so cold that part of our party had to leave us to go outside to get warm.its always cold.please,turn the thermostat up some. also,please don't try to " cheap out" on your food. Serve good oysters( ours were huge and mushy). Also, serve mussels ONLY when in season."

"We were only in Chattanooga for one night and wanted something close to our hotel, but delicious. Easy Bistro was fantastic! Everything was beautifully prepared. We greatly enjoyed the dungeness crab appetizer & both the Easy and the Caesar Salads were fresh & lovely. My husband was very happy with his beef brisket. The waitress highly recommended the Halibut, but when asked about the Chicken Grand Mere...she gave excellent advice and said that if we lived locally she would stick with the Halibut, since they don't always have, but since it was our first time here, the Grand Mere was a great thing to try. She was spot on. We had driven all day and the Chicken Grand Mere was a heavenly dish of comfort.

"Really outstanding food. Without question the best restaurant in Chattanooga! The Grand Mer shellfish platter is a ridiculously good value. Tons of super fresh oysters, shrimp, muscles, and crab. "Our family met for Easter Brunch. The oysters are great(get the chef's choice for a fun selection.) The cauliflower soup is balanced well with a splash of vermouth. The salmon tartine...not so much. While their calamari is a little too salty, it is cooked perfect! I think my father had 5 yummy beignets! The fish tacos are full of flavor! Easy's sources locally when possible. Big plus! Service was good considering it was Easter Brunch. If you are looking for quiet conversation, this is not the place for you. It is however, a good place to dine with a group of people with varying tastes!"

"My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at Easy Bistro. Kudos to the Chef and wait staff. Everything was absolutely magnificent! Our waiter was friendly and extremely knowledegable about the menu. Our meal was perfectly paced and the food was to-die-for. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Even if you've never dined there before, don't hesitate to bring an important client or special family member. You will not be disappointed and they will think you're a genius. "Easy Bistro is a well done restaurant in Chattanooga that is close to the riverfront and aquarium. The building was originally a Coca Cola bottling plant so it has character and an eclectic feel. The service is very capable and knowledgable about the menu and the wine list. The food is well prepared and presented. We tried several appetizers, a soup and some entrees. All were excellent and everyone commented on the quality. I would highly recommend Easy Bistro for families, groups or even for a nice date night dinner."

"Our service was excellent- very professional, knowledgeable, patient, and friendly staff. Love the look of the place. The cocktails are delicious and I recommend the fried calamari and the tuna tartare. The shrimp and grits is a very flavorful and rich dish; if you like this style, then you will enjoy!"

"The chefs really take things seriously. There are a few surprising ingredients, but it's not all about the molecular gastronomy, if you know what I mean. Flavor pairings, texture, taste, quality, presentation, portion, everything's perfect! It's not the cheapest restaurant, but if you don't mind spending a little extra to get a lot more, Easy Bistro is the one! (Oh, and Thursday nights are oyster nights: $3 for a dozen Gulf oysters! They're practically giving them away, but you'll want an appetizer or two to go with them.) For a real surprise, get the after-dinner cocktail that combines tequila and espresso. I forget what it's called, but my wife orders it every time. Definitely leave room for dessert."

"This was the second time I've been to Easy Bistro and they did not disappoint. The choice of food there is the Braised Brisket. Said Brisket I was told was left in a brine for three days and then cooked in its own juices as they were reduced multiple times. The taste is something that I've yet to find anywhere for a Brisket and the sauce I could literally drink with a straw and be content.
The service is friendly and helpful and knows when to show up and when to stay away.
The ambiance is very good especially in the evening after dark when the candles are lit and the whole place takes on a romantic feel.
Both times I took my children and both times Easy Bistro was accommodating and helpful.
The wine selection is very good as"

"Nearly perfect evening. Just as we sat down I thought the noise carried a bit too much. But the beautiful atmosphere, attentive service, and spectacular food Send me the conversation around me just entertaining that background noise. My friend had the Honey duck leg and Beluga lentils The meal was really something special very tender duck And enormously flavorful lentils. We both agreed the lentils were so tasty they could've been a mealthemselves, but with such delicious duck we will glad to have it too. I had of the tuna with blood orange and Spanish almonds. "My wife and I had one of the best meals in recent memory at Easy Bistro. We shared the beet salad and the snapper and each ordered sides. The creamy grits side was divine. Just enough food. Blood orange tart was excellent--the crust very well done. Server was knowledgeable and attentive without being obnoxious. Spent almost 1.5 hours at table but didn't feel rushed by the staff. I highly recommend."

"We went to Easy Bistro for Sunday brunch. According to Open Table, we had to wait nearly an hour before a table was available, but when we arrived (around 11:00) the restaurant was nearly empty. The food was fine, but overpriced. Valet parking was an additional $7 and we were in and out in a little over 30 minutes."

"Great service, very nice atmosphere, but below average food at above average cost. I had a seafood pasta that looked like macaroni and cheese soup, but with less flavor. My wife had a mushroom dish that was good but nothing spectacular. Portions are small and neither offset by quality or price. A meal above $100 for a couple that leaves you hungry and without memorable food is disappointing."

"Food was absolutely amazing. My girlfriend and I went there for Valentine's Day. We started with raw oysters which were good. We both had the Caesar Salad which was nothing like I'd ever tasted. It almost had a spiciness to it. Then we both ordered the Orecchiette Pasta because we are seafood lovers. Again, like nothing I'd ever tasted. The pasta was so fresh it developed a whole new texture. The seafood was cooked perfectly tender and flavorful. What really stood out were the sun-dried tomatoes. I didn't know a tomato could taste like that.

"We had "pre" Valentine's Dinner at EB. We noted our seating area was pretty cold due to the chilly marble tables. Took a long while before they warmed up! Recommend preheating the restaurant or cover the tables to prevent the convectional chilling. An Artisan Bread basket was offered but when declined, we got a tiny plate of apparently day old bread, had to ask for butter, disappointing, considering the prices of the entrees. Salads well done. My wife's ravioli was in a mushroom sauce she was not expecting but really enjoyed. My fish was not hot but the carrot sauce was intriguing. Coffee service? No sweetener, no milk, no can find server! Largest serving of creme brûlée we've ever seen! Attention to service detail needs to improve!"
