"I typically love this restaurant, Ive taken a lot of my friends here.
However, they offer a happy hour every day between 5 and 7. And again later in the evening. Our reservations were for 6 PM. We were not asked if we were there for happy hour, we were seated at a booth, and when I asked the waitress what the "happy hour" specials were, she told me they are only at the bar. I asked to move, but because we'd ordered drinks from her, we had to close out with her first. Then we moved to the bar, still were not offered a list of the happy hour specials and although I ordered my second drink at 6:50, it was conveniently forgotten until 7:10. So even though we chose to eat during happy hour, I didnt get a single drink at happy hour price"

"Went after a tornado warning so the experiance may have been abnormal. The Food was decent AND THE SERVICE was superb. Not as cheesy as an American Japanese steak house. But the food was bordering line; it could have been a bit more authentic but again the taste was decent. Example the yakatori chicken had no sake/mirin flavor it was just grilled. It tasted good but was not yakatori."

"A little pricey, great tasting sushi, but not necessarily 'out of this world' sushi. Not sure for the price it's that good. Used Living Social coupon, which made it a better deal, but didn't appreciate the mandatory 18% tip thrown in."

"I would have given a five star overall rating, but the straps on the children's high chairs are still broken. They were broken back in February of this year when we visited the restaurant, and they are still broken as of 20 April 2013. I know this is a minor thing, but I didn't trust putting our son in this chair knowing he wouldn't be safely secured in it. We decided not use it. Other than that, the food and service was stupendous!!!!"

"Our reservation was at 7:00. We didn't get seated until 7:45. When they finally seated our group of 6, our table was very wobbly and they had people underneath us trying to fix it. The food was great but very overpriced compared to other sushi restaurants. When our server was cleaning up, she spilled a container of soy sauce all over the table which dripped through the crack onto my pants. I probably won't be back here for awhile."

"I had visited the Drunken Fish in CWE prior to trying the one on Laclede's Landing. I ordered the same food that I had ordered from the one on CWE (because it had been so good!) and was completely disappointed by the quality of the food at Laclede's Landing. The rolls were very bland. In addition, the service was less than optimal. The waiter appeared new and kept taking our food dishes before we were finished with them! I do not recommend going to this location."
