"The Capital Grille is one of the finest restaurants in Rosemont and the staff and food are always top notch. However, our service was slow this visit, and the whole lunch went longer than planned or preferred. Even the valets were backed up and slow to return our vehicle.

"My mom, husband, one year old daughter, and I went for the Mothers' Day Brunch. Everything was superb! We live in Chicago, and even with the incredible weekend traffic on I90 to Rosemont, this experience was well worth it. Definitely going back for Fathers' Day."

"This is one of my favorite restaurants because you feel so well taken care of from the moment you arrive. The waitstaff is kind and personable and the food is just delicious. We like to come here for special occasions and each time, we have had a special dessert given to us, had our picture taken and returned back to us at the end of the meal in a frame. "We dined here mid-week with friends and the place was packed. We were impressed with the club like atmosphere and excellent wait service. Three of us ordered medium rare tenderloins that came out rare. Although delicious, one would expect chefs who cook a lot of filets to get this down pat. In fairness, without prompting, management checked in immediately upon delivery of our food to see if we were satisfied. We were too hungry to further delay the meal by sending back food. The mojito cocktail and calamari appetizer were both excellent."

The server was competent, but as stiff as a board. She reminded me of an attorney during a deposition. I've had much better experiences at this restaurant, but this time was only fair. I also didn't like the hostess referring us as the ------party. Is this the -----party? May I seat the -----party? etc, it got old after the 3rd time."

"We were out for an annual birthday/anniversary celebration, and noted that on my open table reservation "notes for the maitre'd." They gave us a private room for our party of 7, complete with rose petals on the table, and a card for each occasion. To top it off, Joseph our waiter took a group picture, and presented us with 4 copies. Exceeded our expectations entirely! Not only that, the food was wonderful, and the service excellent. Decided we would make this our annual place for our celebration."

"We needed a reservation for two at the last minute. Capital Grille took our reservation and the staff was warm and welcoming. I was so happy with the staff and the food was so good! The lobster man n cheese is delicious. We split the delmonaco steak and it was SOOOOOO good. Oysters were outstanding and I want it all right now!"

"I love the classic 40's dinner club style. Food was excellent from starters and salads to the desserts. Both our steaks were very good and cooked perfectly as ordered. large wine selection and drink menu. Service was a little slow at times, seated at 6:40 and didn't get out of there till almost 9:00 and with just two of us. I do have to say they were quite busy on a Saturday night and our server had a couple of bigger tables at the same time. Meal was pricey as was expected prior to dining."

"We have eaten at this restaurant on several occasions, always with a fairly large group. This time, like our past visits, was a great experience. The waitstaff were appropriately attentive, noticing when our late-comers arrived and promptly got their orders started, yet weren't hovering all the time. Both the regular menu items and the specials were well prepared and the entire group was quite satisfied once we were finished for the night."

"The food here is always good. The Rosemont location has far more courteous staff than the downtown Chicago location. Our host and server were very accomodating and courteous even after they found out that we were just there to order dessert. The complimentary valet is also a huge plus! I like eating at Capital Grille but will now only be going to the Rosemont location."

"First time at Captal Grille, Rosemont IL. Very nice, old school classic atmosphere.
Food and service was exceptional. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and was seated at booth adorned with rose petals, a handwritten card and a server who offerd to take a photo of us. We were treated to a complmentary desert which was delicious.
Would recommend for anyone celebrating a special occassion, a bit pricey for everyday but the food was very good!"

"This was our 2nd time at Capital Grille Rosemont and it did not disappoint!! Our server Angelo was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We felt very welcome and appropriately attended to. The shrimp cocktail appetizer was in a share-friendly redesign - shrimp laid out on a bed of crushed ice instead of the old martini glass. Entree, lamb rib chops, was out of this world!! I've never been a fan of mint jelly, and this was served with a cherry sauce instead. Delicious!!! wow. Sides were very generously portioned. Creamed corn with bacon is a must-get!! Dessert was the coconut cream pie, impressive looking but more cream than coconut. Still great though. Perfect evening!"

"I've eaten at Capital Grille in other cities and the experience here was consistent with the high quality I expect from this brand. My server was over the top great and focused on my wife and my experience. He got us our desert in time for us to make our movie and even went the extra mile to ask for my car valet check so he could have it pulled around. They're right near the Muvico in Rosemont and so the dinner/movie combo is a perfect fit."

"great food and the service was above par. The waiter and staff was very attentive, almost too much. The mananger's were walking around and asking how things where and then a minute later our waiter would walk by and ask the same question. I appreicate the wanting to know how things are and the checking up from different levels of the staff but it was almost too much that night. Other than that the meal was great and the service was top notch."
