Frankie and Johnnie's Steakhouse has a look that is sleek and uncluttered, with a warmth that is inviting to all of its guests. The menu is distinguished with its exceptional quality of USDA certified prime dry-aged beef and a secret trend of spices that seasons every steak before it hits the grill. Also known for the freshest of seafood. Lobster, Chilean Sea Bass and Dover Sole.
"Service was exceptionall. Disappointed in Lobster Bisque soup but rest of the meal was excellent. Would go back again though a little pricey. Wish they had parking lot would not like to walk to train station late at night."

"Three of us went for a birthday dinner. Great steaks, and the prix fix menu was also very tasty. Quick service, everything was well prepared, and we stayed well after their normal closing without realizing, and were not rushed by anyone. My 6th or 7th visit, and always a good experience! I really enjoy the space upstairs - the old bank building is gorgeous. Lighting could be a bit brighter, but that's really nit-picking."

"A great restaurant week deal. The surf and turf was very good. The steaks were cooked perfectly. Only negative was the service was not on par with the quality of the restaurant. However we have been there before and will definitely return."

Review 10 for Frankie & Johnnie's Steakhouse - Rye
"Made reservations had to wait when arrived on time. When I finally was seated waitress asked what I wanted to drink without even given me a drink or wine menu had to wait and ask for that twice. Also for pri fixed menu they ran out of lobster bisque. Was not happy with overall experience."

Review 12 for Frankie & Johnnie's Steakhouse - Rye
"We attended as part of Hudson Valley Restaurant Week and realize that with the reduced prices adjustments would be made, unfortunately F&J made too much of an adjustment. The filet medallions were actually 4 small slices of filet that were served in a nice au poivre sauce but they were quite small and well cooked. My wife had the surf and turf (a petite filet with shrimp scampi)and had more steak than I did. Both appetizers (soup and bacon) were very good and dessert of bread pudding was okay. The restaurant has been opened for about 15 years and the interior is looking tired. This was our 3rd restaurant of the week and it was the weakest. It was disappointing to not receive what the menu indicated, Benjamin's was noticeably better"

"A great find. I love steakhouses and I was so happy to find this one of the HV Restaurant Week list. I don't live too close to Rye so I don't normally check out that area, but I'm glad I did. The food was great and I would to check it out again."

Review 17 for Frankie & Johnnie's Steakhouse - Rye
"I made a reservation for 7:30pm when we arrived we were greeted by 2 lovely ladies who took care of us right away. We were seated at a great table upstairs with a view of the entire restaurant. We ordered from the pre-fix menu, the service was great and the food was delicious. One complaint was, when ordering two glasses of red wine Melbec and Merlo both were horrible, old wine that tasted like vinegar. When informing the waiter, he of course took both glass of wine back and suggested another wine, which was better. However, he neglected to tell us it was a $20.00 a glass, he should have mentioned that, I would have ordered a bottle if I was going spend $40.00 on two glasses. Otherwise, a good experience."

Review 18 for Frankie & Johnnie's Steakhouse - Rye
"Went there for the Restaurant week. I was not overly impressed. My friend went to check in under my last name and was told there was no such reservation. Weird as I received the confirmation number and reminder. Last name hadn't changed in over 14+ years. The food was ok. Not memorable. Got the surf & turf, shrimp were cool to touch and very bland. After salting then using their brand of steak sauce which was on the sweet side (like bbq sauce)they were worse."

Review 20 for Frankie & Johnnie's Steakhouse - Rye
"Great service and a nice place and the people that work there are extremely friendly and attentive. However its one of the those places that the food or ambiance hardly justifies the price tag. Not worth it. Go somewhere else, have a similar or better meal and you can have 4 more glasses of wine for same price."

Review 21 for Frankie & Johnnie's Steakhouse - Rye
"Ladies (and gentlemen) who lunch you are missing a wonderful experience by not going to Frankie & Johnnie's Steakhouse in Rye. My friend and I wanted to go someplace special to celebrate our birthdays so we went there for lunch the other day. It was lovely! Nice, bright airy room with a large window overlooking Purchase St., prompt, attentive helpful service and delicious food. There were a wide range of choices on the menu-not just steak-and a very reasonbly priced prix fixe. The only negative was that the restaurant was virtually empty, with the exception of two other tables. We didn't feel uncomfortable but it's a shame that more people are not taking advantage of this gem."

Review 24 for Frankie & Johnnie's Steakhouse - Rye
"Options on the $22 fixed price luncheon were excellent. Breads, including foccaccia, very tasty; mushroom barley soup wonderful for a freezing day; highlight, of course, the petit filet with garlic mash and wonderful sauted mushrooms. The Frankie and Johnnies salad the only ordinary item. Key lime pie was a delicious light dessert."
