"Didn't realize Mother's day was going to be a brunch. On a gluten free, no egg diet I couldn't eat lots of dishes BUT they do great salad, a huge choice of veg, and lots of fruit. All of which was very good."

"We hadn't been here for a long time, no reason. They have changed hands a few times since we first went there. Well, were we surprised! Food was great, LOVED the grilled cheese sandwich! Service was super friendly and efficient. We had a great time!"

"We love this local (to us) spot.
The food is always freshly prepared, except for the cookies on this particular day.
There were lots of vegetarian options for my daughter, and plenty of the things you'd expect from a more expensive brunch.
The omelette station was a big hit with us, and the grilled veggies were excellent.
My only grievance, they charged for coffee. I expect that to be included at a set brunch price."

"Always love breakfast at the Oceanview. Great coffee, great food; attentive pleasant service, and they are very dog-friendly! Their outside area fills up fast on a pleasant sunny day such as the Sunday morning we were there. Still, it doesn't seem to get as full as other places in Montrose, which always surprises me.
This place is a cut above; high-quality food and service, a friendly vibe, and also reasonable prices. This was my third visit in a week!"

"Three of us had a lovely Friday evening dinner here. Great service, excellent food, not too expensive. Warm friendly environment. I've been here for brunch several times recently but this was my first time for dinner. We all thoroughly enjoyed it."

"I went here for brunch once with my brother and dad. They both said that it didn't taste good considering the price. We went for dinner this time w/ mom and the food was salty, steak was not cooked to our desire, there were rocks in the scallop, ran out of 2 side dishes we wanted AND the dessert! We went for V-Day dinner (15th instead 14th) but my reso was at 8 pm and the restaurant was not packed so I don't see how they were so low on ingredients. One plus: they took the scallop risotto dish off our bill because I mentioned that there were rocks in it."

"The Parmesan encrusted escolar was superb--it melted in the mouth and was wonderfully flavorful. Side dishes were excellent as well. And, through their loyalty program, we bought one entree and got one free. The food is always delicious at Oceanview."
