Bouchon at The Venetian
Bouchon is located in the Venetian Resort-Hotel-Casino, Venezia Tower. Renowned designer Adam D. Tihany has masterfully created a beautiful interior that features a magnificent French pewter bar, a vibrant mosaic floor, deep blue velvet banquettes, antique light fixtures and an expansive hand-painted mural by noted French artist Paulin Paris. The exquisite décor is the perfect setting for Bouchon’s culinary delights. Chef Cerciello rediscovers the classics, using historical reference points and classic French techniques, combined with a modern approach. The menu offers classic bistro dishes including steak frites, roasted chicken, quiche, brandade, boudin noir, pot de crème and profiteroles. The selection of fruits de mer is celebrated as one of the finest in Las Vegas. The seasonal menu changes throughout the year and is enhanced by a blackboard menu featuring the best products available each day. "My wife and I went to Las Vegas to get married, and wanted someplace nice to go to celebrate during our honeymoon. I've always wanted to eat at one of Chef Keller's restaurants, and this was a perfect opportunity.
When we arrived, they greeted us by name and congratulated us on our recent marriage. They were very attentive, very precise in their service and exceptionally well-versed in making recommendations of food/wine pairings.
I'm not sure when, but we'll be back."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our Bouchon dinner. Our wait staff was helpful, friendly and not in a rush. They'd obviously had a chance to taste everything they were serving, and made thoughtful recommendations. The oysters were incredibly fresh. The foie gras was to die for (and probably hastened that death by days). The butter was soft (so many restaurants set out frozen butter!), the bread crunchy and really ono. The wines-by-the-carafe were plentiful in options and affordable. A great meal."

"Just as good as the first. Fantastic seafood for appetizers. Everyone loved the pâté and the foie gras to start with. Champagne was spot on and the atmosphere was perfect.

"Restaurant was recommended to us by some "foodies"; the service was prompt and excellent throughout. The wine recommendation was excellent and service re the wine was also attentive. The lettuce in the salads was the crispest we have ever tasted. Two different seafood entrees (salmon and trout) were both moist and accompaniments were tasty. The lemon tart was creamy and appropriately tart. A 5 star experience in all areas."

"I've been to Bouchon several times and it's always been wonderful. The servers are extremely knowledgeable and make wonderful suggestions. The wine list is fantastic! The space is friendly and not at all Vegas-stuffy. In fact, it feels more like downtown Manhattan than Vegas. I come to Vegas once a year for business, and the trip is never complete without a visit to Bouchon!"

"Great spot...went on a quiet night. Steak Frites were amazing, chicken was good, bone marrow appetizer is a must! Request a table near the window. We didn't go for brunch but based on the dessert menu and the Bouchon bakery next door, sure it is wonderful!"

"We liked the food, but were shocked that when we came in wearing dressy evening attire the people seated next to us were wearing flip-flops and shorts. Didn't change the taste of the food - which was overall good, but it certainly made me feel uncomfortably dressed. If I'd have known it was so casual, I wouldn't have bothered to dress."

"Bouchon was one of the best dining expiriences I have ever had.The food was phenomenal. It was by far one of the most reasonably priced "fine dining" menus on the strip. I was pleasently surprised at the price of the wine that was recommended to us and not on the menu. I will go back to Bouchon EVERY time I am in Las Vegas. The chicken was the BEST I have ever had in a restaraunt or at home. And the lemon tart was to die for. My boyfriends family who have been in vegas for 40 years were very reluctant for us to take them out to dinner at the restaruanut of my choice, they said that this meal was the best they have had in Vegas and they will be sure to bring friends out to Bouchon."

"My husband and I always go to Bouchon's for breakfast when we visit Las Vegas. This time we made reservations for dinner and were not disappointed. The gnocchi just melted in my mouth, and the chicken my husband ordered was outstanding. Breakfast and dinner at Bouchon's -- you can't go wrong!!!"

"Our meal was excellent with the exception of my lemon tart. The crust was truly nasty tasting. Thomas Keller's grandmother did not know how to make crust (it was mentioned as his grandmother's recipe). It wasn't recommended by our waiter and was probably my own fault, but I love lemon tart, just not this one. The foie gras on the other hand was to die for. Both the cold terrine and the hot preparation that was a special. Our waiter was excellent as was all the wait staff. I really liked the decor. Will we go back? We are area locals and there are so many other places to try that it is very unlikely. Picasso at the Bellagio, on the other hand, we have been back to several times."

"We had such a poor server that it overshadowed the wonderful food, ambience, and wonderful attention from all others. My husband asked server for a fruit filled red wine and was told he was in wrong restaurant for that. He did get our order. Food delivered and he never checked back with us. I went 15 minutes with empty wine glass because we could not get his attention to order another."

"My wife and I go here for dinner every year to top off 4 grueling days of trade show work. We spend a lot of time in Paris and wanted a nicely paced meal. I explained this and was told "No problem." It was late enough that they had run out of some entrees and were running short of others. The waiter gave a list of the "endangered" entrees, which neither of us wanted anyway. However, as we tried to take our time, we felt pressure from the waiter to move it along. Finally he told my wife that if we didn't order soon, she might not get the entree she wanted. This was disappointing to say the least. The food was good. But, try as we might, it was not paced like anything remotely resembling a real Parisian restaurant."

"We love to stay at the Venetian so have eaten at Bouchon a lot over the last 4 years. Seems to be not as good as previous visits in terms of the service, noise and quality of the food which is a shame as I love the set up there.
The service on this occasion was slow and awkward with our waiter making smart, informal wise cracks (when he was around) which were just on the cusp of being OTT. I had the Foie special appetizer and the Scallops special main course. Both were fine but not stand out with the scallops only seared on one side. My wife had the Bibb salad and lamb main course both off the menu which were again simply ok. Chocolate dessert and strawberry and rhubarb tart were the best parts of the meal. $220 included 2 drinks and tip."

"We have a lot of love for Thomas Kellers restaurants, so we cabbed it from the MGM to the Venetian for dinner at "Bouchon." (The Venetian is a terrific over the top presentation of classic Italian art and architecture.) Bouchon has a beautiful "Lived in" decor with a very lovely, romantic patio/terrace. Request an outdoor table. Inside is sometimes very noisy. The food is what you might expect, with the caveat that the coffee is closer to diner coffee than the fab French press deliciousness you'll find at his other restaurants. Service is good, but not up to the normal Keller standard. Sit by the fountain outside, it's a quiet respite from the frantic Las Vegas experience. Finding Bouchon can be difficult. Leave extra time. It's worth it."

"We're locals, and though we enjoy many of the great restaurants on the Strip, Bouchon has become our go-to when friends visit from out of town. Every dish we have tried, breakfast or dinner, has been perfectly prepared...you can't go wrong no matter what you order. The staff is warm, welcoming, and efficient in a relaxed way. Atmosphere is lovely, too."

"A warning to lovers of bone marrow: disappointing. This is only the second restaurant I've found that serves bone marrow. Unfortunately, it is served with flavors that are much too spicy and overpowering for the delicate flavor of the marrow. I wish they would have kept it simple; just a little salt is all it needs.
The rest of the meal was very good. The oyster selections were very nice! Definitely a place for foodies."

"Superb cuisine at reasonable prices. The setting is unique, a kind of indoor atrium feel. A table in the interior courtyard or with a view of the courtyard is recommended. By the way, Open Table was able to accommodate our seating request."

"Mom was so happy to eat here for Mother's Day. She had the veal chateaubriand special. We all thought it was the best dish! So tender and the sauce was perfect. Thin sliced potato accompaniment was artistic and rich. Scottish salmon was cooked perfectly; crisp on the outside and moist and tender inside.
Corpse Reviver cocktail was unexpectedly tasty! I had two...then spun all night! What a revival!
Note: if you sit outside and want to be able to talk to each other, try not to sit next to a fountain. It was a little hard to hear at times..."

"My boyfriend and I worked in the restaurant industry for a combined total of 17 years. We talked many times over the years about visiting a T.K. restaurant. While in Las Vegas this past week we finally went to Bouchon in the Venetian hotel. My boyfriend had a beer and our server recommended an excellent white wine for me. All of the food was amazing, from the flavor of the reduction served with the roasted bone marrow appetizer, to the temperature my boyfriend ordered the New York steak, to the texture of the Ile Flottante dessert. The service was equally stellar with the bowls holding empty mussel shells from the Moules au Safran never over flowed before being replaced. Overall, definitely worth the wait."

"The bread and the appetizers were good but the main entrees were not impressive. Server was busy serving a big party and we had waited more than 15 minutes between the appetizers and the main dishes. I think there are better choice in other place for that price."

"I have looked forward to going to a Thomas Keller restaurant all my life. The French Laundry in Napa has been unattainable reservation due to its popularity. My friend ordered the mussels and they were gritty and most of them had not opened. When, we complained I would have thought they would have made a small gesture of good faith, but they didn't. Not even dessert.
The waiter was less than attentive relying on his understaff to carry him through the evening, I was always looking for a water glass filled or a plate removed.
My lamb was fabulous, but all the other issues made it an unmagicl place"

"This is our favorite LV restaurant but this visit was a bust. Several tables with big groups made the noise level untenable, both at the bar and at our table. My wife and I couldn't hear each other talk. Too bad because we come here every time we're in Vegas and even planned to go here for both nights of this visit - canceled the second night this time. Food was great. Drinks were inconsistent but the sommelier was very kind to mix our second drinks (he makes a great old fashioned."

"Very good food. Gets a bit noisy with the high ceilings and tile flooring. Food was delicious. My clams/mussels were not cleaned well enough and I twice bit into sand. Other than that the food was wonderful. The waiter was OK. He didn't suggest a good alternative wine when I asked about the flavor of the Chardonnay and he also disappeared for long stints of time."

"After having visited Bouchon in Beverly Hills two weeks ago, I decided to take my friends to Bouchon in Las Vegas for the ultimate comparison.....I was not disappointed. The staff were true professionals, the wine pairing suggestions were right on point, and we truly enjoyed the entire experience. We left delighted, and our waiter was very kind to provide us with Chef Keller's cookbook, autographed.......Both venues match up perfectly in duplicating a memorable dining experience. "My wife and I had a great time at Bouchon. Went before seeing Rock of Ages. Service excellent, food we thought was just like the restaurant in Napa. No complaints. Started with the beet salad and the salmon tartar, both were excellent. Then had the beef short rib and the trout for the main course. Both were cooked to perfection."
