"We love this place. It is on the expensive side, but the location is so worth it. The restaurant over looks the Destin Harbor and the day we visited was the blessing of the fleet. The location aside, the food is outstanding. Our favorite dish is the andouille panko crusted redfish with cayanne butter sauce. For appetizers our favorite is eggplant medallions topped with lump crab meat. The service has always been wonderful. The owner greets each table and ensures the dinning experience was up to the dinners expectation."

"We make it a point to eat at the Marina Cafe at least twice whenever we are in Destin. It never disappoints. The fish is always fresh and perfectly cooked and the service outstanding. This trip we had a party of 8, made reservations and were seated in the semi private dining room right at the windows. As good as the service has been, I will have to say our server this time was the best I've ever had anywhere. He knew the ins and outs of all dishes and never let our coffee get cold. Several in our party raved over the spicy redfish. Others enjoyed the swordfish and the wonderful grouper with crab. All in all the evening was a success. Entrees are about 35. And 2 for 1 before 6 PM. Some entrees come with veggies, salads are bout 12."

"My wife and I celebrated our 31st wedding anniversary with dinner at the Marina Café and it did not disappoint. The owner took special time to make sure we had a great table outside with a perfect view, plus the food and service were great. Would certainly return the next time I visit the area."

"Delicious food. Hostess and waiter were disappointing. Neither were friendly. We had to ask our waiter twice for the sushi menu and never got it. The view is amazing and the setting is romantic. For the amount of money you spend there, the staff should be very attentive and friendly. We asked the hostess to recommend a place nearby for an after dinner drink and she struggled to think of anywhere except AJ's and Baytown Wharf, which we had already been to. It was freezing outside so AJ's was really not appropriate and Baytown was 20 Mins away."

"Excellent service and a great value. We didn't know this before getting to our 6pm reservation but they offer buy one get one off their specialty menu before 6pm. This was surprising since it seemed high end and it made us a bit nervous but it was excellent. We had a wonderful dining experience and spent the same amount if money as we spent at "the back porch pub" which offered subpar food and watered down cocktails. Definitely go to Marina versus the tourist traps down the road. Our best meal in Destin besides Cuvée Bistro which was excellent but overpriced all in Marina Cafe was the best considering all factors!"

"The atmosphere was terrific! I went there with my family, a group of 5. We had a great view of the water while we ate, and able to see boats go along in the harbor. However, I really don't think there is a bad seat in the house. I noticed some outdoor dining tables which also looked nice. Our waiter was excellent and gave excellent recommendations. The red fish entree was amazing. It's a little spicy, but if you like the spice this dish is great. The stress relief martini is also fabulous!"

"Nice more upscale place away from the horrible touristy part of the harbor. All tables have a good view and we were fortunate to sit along the window looking out on the boats. One dish was a disappointment, the $33 Redfish with andouille crust on the standard menu was rubbery and tough this night, unlike any Redfish I've ever had. I should have sent it back, but service was spread too thin to risk sitting with no food at all for the rest of the meal. Seemed like other orders at our table were were OK."

"We dined at the Marina Cafe in Destin, Florida on Thursday March 28th. We read on-line that they offer an "early" special between 5:00-6:00 every night and we were able to get 2 of our 4 dinners for free. It's a fantastic deal if you are willing to go a little early.
Marina Cafe is beautiful inside and out. The view of Destin's harbor is lovely.
The food was outstanding. Everything was very nicely prepared and served.
The maitre d was extremely pleasant, polite and professional. He took great care in selecting a table for our family. Our waiter was Matt. He was very nice to talk with although he could use a little more training from some of the seasoned waiters that work at Marina Cafe.
Overall we enjoyed a very nice meal!"

"Marina Cafe is my go-to for special dates and it never fails. Food is outstanding and the staff is excellent. This visit was the Friday after Valentines Day and the place was hopping so we had to wait for our table a little, but we got a table with an excellent view, and then they were trying to get us out of there fairly quickly. "We visit Marina often and our most recent visit was on Valentine's Day. We knew we would be in for an over-crowded restaurant, but we went anyway. The service at the bar was very friendly. When we moved to our table we were greated by David, our waiter, and our service was excellent. Considering how slammed David was on this evening, sub-par service was expected but thankfully David did not miss a beat. We had a lovely dinner. Thank you."

"We were there with another couple to celebrate my wife's birthday. Our waiter was not very friendly and not very attentive. We all felt our meals were not as good as we have had there in the past. Based on our experience, I would not want to reccomend to others."
