Chef Anthony Raggiri's menu provides the palette with an eclectic array of dishes drawing tastes from his native Marseille, Spain, Italy, Greece and Morocco, all the while staying true to the premise that less is more.
"This is the third time I've eaten here, two times for brunch and once for dinner. The service the last two times has been very poor. It is almost impossible to get a cup of coffee and forget a refill. The waiter never comes back to find out if we need anything and we had to actually get up and go over to request the bill. Although the food is good, we will not be returning."

"My roast chicken was good but not great. The bistro burger looked delicious and the salmon did as well. The service was good and the ambience is pleasant. It's a good little neighborhood spot but nothing to travel a distance for."

"It was okay. The food was tasty and nicely presented, but I found the noise level high and the ambience nothing wonderful. The location isn't great for me, so I wouldn't hurry back."

"The service was excellent and the restaurant is lovely. We all had french onion soup and the "Classic Caesar Salad". The soup was tasty but the Caesar Salad was not "classic" and was very ordinary. With so many other restaurants, I doubt I'd go back to Bistro 61."

"Bistro 61 proved to be perfect for a low key dinner after a tiring day. The staff was pleasant, the food was simple but delicious; a lumpcrab and avocado cocktail was a refreshing appetizer and the bone in rib-eye was prepared medium rare to our liking. All in all a pleasant evening."

"First time at place. Very accommodating to friend with walker. It's very casual - wine reasonable and my dish was outstanding. A good neighborhood place."

"I had a lovely double date brunch here. The food was quite good but the waitress was a little slow with coffee refills. They also only accept cash for the pre fixe brunch... Kind of odd. All of that said the space is warm and inviting. I would definitely come back if looking for a low-key brunch in the neighborhood."

"My wife and I took our 10 year old daughter and three of her friends for dinner. Two of the children have gluten intolerence. Evan and the staff could not have been more accomodating and sensitive to our needs and made it a wonderful experience for all. The food whether gluten free or regular was outstanding and beautifully presented. Great neighborhood restaurant."

"We had a nice time and a good meal here. The only drawback was allowing the server to seat us at a table in the window, right next to the bar. It got very cramped and noisy and by the time we left, people were three deep at the bar and I had to ask them to move so I could get out. As we left, we saw that there were plenty of available tables at the back of the restaurant."

"Everything was great with the exception that there are too many tables in too small a space so you feel cramped. It also makes it difficult on the servers to weave through the tables. The food was great and the staff friendly, I would recommend it but is probably better for a weeknight out were it'd be less crowded"

"I usually go here for the mussels which were very good. We also had the steak and frites, but they wanted to charge you $2 extra for various sauces. This is a pet peeve of mine. It was unnecessary for the type pf sauce given. Service was fair. I think our waitress might have been new. She kept interrupting our conversation to ask us about drinks. Overall, I would go here again."

"Mussels, as always, were good. The tuna sashimi appetiser was smothered in a ginger-soy sauce -- the sauce was very good but we couldn't taste the tuna at all. Service was nice -- they saw that we wanted a quiet quick dinner without any interruptions."
