"Landmarc is known by those who attend jazz events at TWC's Rose Theater. But I had never been there for lunch. What a pleasant surprise! A wide menu choice and a knowledgeable waitress who served both the omnivores and the vegans in our party with all we needed. They have everything from a quick bite to a full meal. And it's all good!"

"The food is good and well priced, as is the wine list. The size of the restaurant makes it good for groups and if you sit by a window the view is nice. The noise level is the only detractor- I felt like I was yelling across the table to be heard in here."

"Our reservation was for 5pm, but we came around 3:30 to see if we could be seated earlier. The host did not even hesistated and said of course you are only three right? The decor is very mechanical and almost like an engineering studio. We sat down at a booth, as requested and our waiter who I am not sure if he gave us his name came by to meet us. Menu was varied, but not too fancy, which I liked. I ordered the chicken which was cold at the time of the arrival, but I decided to say anything to the waiter. But the filet mignon my son ordered was pefectely cooked and he enjoyed it very much. Overall, it was a decent meal, but the waiter seem just a bit disaengaged. Great touch with the cotton candy...kids love it!"

"Lots of families with small children. Computer system "had issues" and lost all orders. We waited over an hour for our food while children ran around the restaurant. Very unfortunate experience. Will not go back."

"Everything was handled very smoothly from reservation to arrival with our group of 8 people. A bit noisy for good conversation but the service was outstanding. Even prepared separate checks very graciously A good place for dinner for Lincoln center or theater. Food was excellent and the menu offers good variety."

"Took two friends from out of town for a special dinner and it was very disappointing. The service was absolutely horrible. She never came back to offer more drinks, to check on us, to pour more wine. She could not have cared less. If you want to charge half of those prices, I will not complain, but it was not cheap. The food was good, but the terrible service really spoiled the night. I would not go back."

"Marc Murphy is a wonderful chef and restauranteur. Landmarc was a perfect place to take a group of out of town guests as the food, ambience, service was perfect! I especially love the secluded round booths for a group of 6 as it gave us the chance to visit and feel we had our own private dining area.

"We went to Landmarc 4 adults and 4 kids for Saturday lunch. It was 30% full but from some reason we got the table in the far end. The waitress tried very hard to be super nice but she kept spiling and braking things next to our table.( i MUST say that we were compensated by restaurant with very nice and large desert plater and was offered to send them dry cleaning bill). Drinks are ok, food was delicious. Very tourists spot like but maybe this want needed in the area. Im happy to leave in NY and to have an option to choose different place every time i eat.:)"

"I have just moved around the corner from this restaurant and was excited to dine here as I had heard great things. I dined with my friend who was a long term patron of Landmarc TWC. After a simple misunderstanding during ordering, the night went down hill. There was a complete lack of professionalism and beyond a horrible service experience. Will never go back, and either will my friend. Even though food was quite good, the awful service by both wait staff and management washed out any positive experience that was had that evening. Unfortunate."

"I loved that there were items on the kids menu in addition to the usuall chicken tenders and grilled cheese. The cotton candy was a huge success with my kids for dessert. My husband and I enjoyed being able to enjoy a nice bottle of wine and relax after a long day. Our meals were great although nothing memorable."

"For a persnickety judge ( on Chopped), Marc Murphy runs a less than stellar restaurant. There were long waits ( like 25 minutes) between courses. The size of the place, and it is humongous, seems to defeat the waitstaff. The food is just meh. One of us had sweetbreads which were not seasoned and limp rather than crisp. One of us had boudin noir which was okay but we've had better. Again it seemed underdone. One of us had the dessert. As described you could have one scoop or three of ice cream or sorbet. We chose three which came one scoop each in a cone. They were hard to eat and the lemon was bitingly acidic. If you're going to spend this kind of money, there are better places near Lincoln Center."

"Went here for a brunch to celebrate a birthday. Great for big groups, they were very accommodating. It's clearly a great spot for families with kids, there were tons of them, which did contribute to a noisy and busy atmosphere, but since we were a big group ourselves that wasn't a problem. Food was consistently good across the board for both breakfast and lunch dishes. We enjoyed a nice wine from their expansive list and they were attentive to our needs. It is a tad pricier than average, which makes it great for special occasions."

"Word has gotten out that its a kid friendly spot. The restaurant was filled with kids and it was extremely loud to the point of being ridiculous. Service was friendly and attentive although the bus staff is over zealous and trained like assassins to remove your dishes even if you haven't quite finished. You have to be on your toes if you like to finish your plate or cocktail.
The pork chop is to die for and the apple/onion garnish is a perfected mix. However both Bronzino orders were almost in-edible. They consisted of a skimpy single filet whose mealy texture smacked of a frozen mass produced dinner from Red Lobster.
Despite some worthy Culinary attributes we won't be back; plenty of other places in NYC that do it far better."

"This was my first time at Landmarc. The place was recommended to me by some co-workers as a great place for a very nice dinner with children and that it was! I took a bushel of children (eight total) ranging in age from 4 to 13 years of age after coming from the AMNH and the total cost ran me only about $50pp. The wait for our table was painful, but that was primarily because it is difficult to distract children from hunger. Thankfully the communal table provided a great little area to wait while the littlest children colored the pictures on the back of their menus. Dinner (and the cotton candy) was fast and yummy and the view from the table was great for the children! In all they had an absolutely fantastic time and didn't want to leave!!!"

"Great for a group, there is parking/subway, and kid-friendly, including free cotton candy for the kids. Kids will also enjoy exploring the mall that is the Time Warner Center. We had a very friendly and helpful server - get one of those!"

Appetizer 1: flatbread with mushrooms was tasty but nothing to write home about
Appetizer 2: fried zucchini and mozzarella were over fried, greasy and flavorless inside
Pasta: clam linguine was properly cooked but pretty anonymous (you can find the same dish in 60% of restaurants)
Èntree: Mussels with fries: the mussels were tasty but the sauce (dijonnaise?) was in the bland side
Ambience: a bit noise but great views of Columbus Circle. The decor is classy and clean. The restaurant was overcrowded with tourists and a bit noisy (especially for a Friday).
Service: very attentive and professional. Best part of the experience."

"I thought our waiter was terrible. He was patronizing when asked about certain dishes and wine. He was also unattentive. He did not cater to the needs of the kids when asked to bring out their food before the adults' food because they were starving because the wait for the food was so long. For a "kid friendly place," the waiters should know better!"
