"I took my Mom there for an early Mother's Day for dinner. There was a live singer, but the music was not overpowering. Some people were even dancing. Great mix of people. The service is excellent and the food was great. My Mom had the spaghetti and meatballs and they were excellent -- and she is from Italians. I had the flatbread pizza, which was good, but the pasta dish was much better. Now I'm going to get my husband to take me."

"Had a good experience with our server Ricardo - friendly and helpful. One big point to us - we like to split entrees and salads - not big on taking leftovers home. Splitting is done graciously at Luciano's. This is one of our requirements for a regular dining spot.

"Just out for a night with the wife. She very much enjoyed the food and atmosphere. My wife is a vegetarian and she ordered the mushroom stuffed ravioli. I had the Black Spaghetti. Both very very good.. I was very pleased with the service. This is a nice restaurant."

"The service was good, but down a notch from previous visits. That may have been because of a large number of prom attendees. The appetizers, especially the carpaccio and grilled asparagus were excellent. Two of us had veal dishes and the veal was on the tough side. The tiramisu was mostly cream and could have used more cake or lady fingers. All in all, not bad and certainly a step above the chains."

"This is a GREAT restaurant. Do not let the fact that this restaurant is located in a strip mall fool you, this restaurant is exceptional in every way. I have been here on three (3) separate occassions now over the past year and it has been consistent each and every time. Great wine list, great food, great service. I called ahead for reservations and had no problem immediately being seated during a busy lunch hour."

"I haven't had a meal this wonderful in a restaurant in a very long time. Everyone raved about their food selections in our group of 5. I was very surprised with the portions. Appetizers were sized for sharing. Everything was fresh and prepared from scratch. Service was great quality and very friendly, efficent. We can't wait to go back!"

"We were visting in the area and found this to be a great Italian restaurant. It was Prom Night so it was quite busy with young people until a little later in the evening. "This was a good place for being close to where we were staying and meeting friends. The service was very good but I would say the food was pretty mediocre. I'm not sure what the goat cheese appy was other than a scoop of cheese in red sauce. The others had the beef carpaccio appy and said it was just OK. 3 of us had scallops which were tasty but not great. The menu has a lot on it, maybe we should have all tried something different. If we go back I will try the eggplant parm."

"I have been going to Lucianos for a few years. The manager always came by to introduce himself and later just to say hi. We recently went there and didnt have the same experience from management.It is still a great restaurant for the ambiance, food (although this time my crab cake was a bit fishy,but my husband loves the salmon salad) great wine and service was very good from Sean. We will certainly go back."

"A friend suggested Cracker Barrel or Outback in the area but I wanted something a little more upscale & special for this occasion. The restaurant has fresh linens and the table flow is good. The staff are very professional and capable. We ordered an appetizer for the table, asparagus with walnuts, blue cheese and crispy onions. We received a mound of crispy onions with a few (four of us had at least one)charred, bitter asparagus, walnuts & blue cheese. Execution was the issue. I had lazagna coco pazzo. It literally came out as a pie plate of melted cheese. I ate less than a quarter of it. My daughter (10) had pizza and she said it was like Chucky Cheese's. Dessert was good. Food below expectations."

"Nice spot for a romantic dinner. Affordable elegance. Live singer on Friday and Saturday starting at 7:30pm. Entertainer was just the right volume, not too loud, you can have a conversation with ease. Jeans would seem a little under dressed for this place, though some patrons did wear them. Plenty of dinner entre choices starting in the mid teens price point. Went here for a first date meet-up dinner, ended up staying 3 hours. Never felt rushed."

"We made early reservations at Luciano's for dinner before the Eric Clapton concert at Gwinnett Arena, not realizing it was right across the street from the venue. It was also the only "local" restaurant I could find among a sea of chain restaurants in the area. Don't let the location at the end of a Kroger strip mall fool you. The ambiance inside was very inviting,with a lively atmosphere once it started filling with people. What started things out right for me was the crusty bread and dipping oil infused with pureed roasted tomatoes and a knockout Old Fashioned. Our steak, veal piccata and salmon entrees were all very tasty and the service was great. Thumbs up!"

"This was my fourth trip to a Luciano's (two in Duluth, two in Alpharetta). Both the food and the service have been declining since my first trip, and now I am done. The only thing right about the food was the bread. The pasta was overcooked. The chicken was rubbery. The meatballs were mushy. The marinara was cheesy. The bread was good at least! Perhaps our waiter had too many other tables, but the food was less than hot when served, I was half done before he offered cheese. He got two out of the three salad orders wrong. The blue cheese on the beet salad was almost non-existent. The busser at least kept the water filled. My daughter was right, Olive Garden (yuck) would have been a better choice."

"The service and food were absolutely wonderful. There was live music, but it didn't overpower the ability to carry on a conversation with the person/people you are sitting with. The hubby had the red fish and said it was very good! I had been before and knew I like the mushroom ravioli. I would say kid friendly if your kids aren't rambunctious, but it is a nicer restaurant, so please don't bring the fussy baby. I'm looking forward to a return trip."

The tiramisu is delivious and my friend had the gelato (?) not sure, it looks like sorbet had she said the flavor was great.

"We have dined often at this restaurant and always found the service and hospitality as superb. Reservations were always honored with never more than a 5 minute wait. Our latest
experience was less than fair at best. We waited 20 minutes for our table. The waiter finally made his was over after another 10 minutes, took our drink order and disappeared for another 20 minutes. We found the manager who immediately had our drinks brought to the table, apologized and provided 2 appetizers for the table.The food was excellent as usual, but the decline in service should be brought to the attention of the management."

"Went there for "Valentine's Day" dinner on the Saturday after Valentine's Day, and everything was tremendous as usual. Chef John consistently creates a delicious and inventive menu, and the kitchen executes the dishes to perfection. Had the Scallops & Artichokes and the Chicken Piccata as entrees which were both great. The desserts that we had were just ridiculously good...strawberry cobbler and limoncello sorbet. Yum! Can't wait to return!"
