"The best risotto in the best in the city, specifically the Mushroom and White Truffle, which is finished in a parmesan wheel. It is so flavourful and cooked to perfection. And the parmesan that is scraped into the dish is just the perfect amount. They have a very reasonably priced wine list, with a wide variety of Italian wines, all separated by region. Try the buffalo mozzarella wrapped in proscuito. I could have eaten another order."

"Food was delicious and the server was very nice but it took forever to get our main course - a good 30 - 40 minutes between finishing the appetizer and getting the main course (and when it did come, 3 plates came first and then some minutes later our fourth plate arrived - well after we had asked permission to begin eating for fear the food would get cold.)"

"Our family (we have 2 girls 21 and 18)has gone to this restaurant on family day for the last 2 years and we always enjoy the meal. The menu is great and the pastas are homemade noodles which make those dishes a specialty. It is a nice italian restaurant and we would go again for sure."

"I was in on Valentine's day and tried the prix fixe menu prepared by a chef from italy. The food had it's ups and downs. Service was below par - empty plates sat on our table for 10 minutes before being removed. My fiance's course was delivered separately from mine on more than one occasion leaving one of us sitting there waiting for the other to get their food."

"Neighbourhood restaurant - friendly but slow service.
Only two wait staff servicing, including 3 separate larger party of 8 to 10.
Wait staff tried their best but ran around the whole night (restaurant not full but busy) Pasta with mushroom sauce - sauce a bit watery but take OK.
Staff too busy to upsell or spend time to describe dishes properly.
Took 30 minutes to get our check as one large group of 10 or 12 decided to pay "individually". Waitor was very patient with them.
It was not a good first time experience!"

"My spouse and I dinned at this restaurant a few years back and the food was exquisite. A week ago (January 2013), we took my parents to the restaurant for my father's 60th birthday celebration. Appetizers were just alright - some cold cuts, olives, panchetta - generally what you would expect at any Italian restaurant. Mixed drinks were generous and they have a great wine list to choose from. The problems came along with the main dishes. My parents are chefs and I am a foodie myself. To our great disappointment, risotto was tasteless, bean bruschetta was simply toast with some cooked beans on the side, roasted veggies were soggy and likely cooked a few days earlier and the fish filet was tiny, oily and sadly overcooked. Disappointing."
