"We really enjoyed our experience at the Beacon Street Tavern. Although the hostess could have been more inviting, our waitress was warm, friendly, and extremely pleasant. The service and food were great. We went on a Tuesday night and did not feel pressured to leave immediately, which was nice!"

"Beacon St Tavern is a great little spot with a cool atmosphere but the food is not the best and is overpriced for what you get. I recommend having dinner elsewhere and then coming over for a late night drink."

"Nice neighborhood place that feels like a tavern/pub until you read the menu and wine list. Fish choices were delicious and the wine list is affordable. Plus, the selection of beers is overwhelming. Two thumbs up. Great outdoor patio too."

Review 10 for Beacon Street Tavern
Overall Rating
(Outstanding)
"Sat at one of the lovely banquettes in the bar (by choice) and was served by the bartender (Paul M) who was very Irish and extremely personable. Started with moules frittes (FABULOUS) served with scrumptious rolls (even asked for more to dip in the sauce!)..followed by steak tips with mashed potatoes and zucchini coquettes...excellent! The best beer ever: Chimay and also very good Chilean red house wine "started with a 'C' wish I could remember the name! Will definitely return on my next visit to Boston...."
