"My wife and I go to Maxwell's frequently, and we just love it. Food is great. Mitchell and Randy are always attentive. It's pricey, but I've always found it to be worth it...and will continue to go. I went with my 9 and 7 year old sons for a guys night out (they do not do kid menu foods), and they thoroughly enjoyed it...as did I. Great sangria special."

"From the minute we walked in we were treated like royality. The atmosphere is elegant without being stuffy and the staff was attentive without being hovering. The food was delicious. We went specifically to try the signature fig infused vodka and we were not disappointed. The cheese tray option at the end of the meal was a great touch for those who are not interested in a sweet dessert. All in all it was a wonderful dining experience."

"Been to Maxwell's a few times now, and never disappoints. Food was very good. My wife ordered a gnocchi dish with lobster meat, and we were surprised at just how much lobster meat there was, and how large the pieces were. We were expecting smaller shredded bits of lobster meat, but instead found large chunks of tail meat that were cooked very nicely. I had the ribeye steak, and it was cooked / seasoned perfectly."

"This is my second time at Maxwell's. I really love both the food and the cocktails. It's fabulous that the chef comes out to say hello to every table. My only concern was this: The specials sound great, but I really would like to see them written down with prices. The strawberry mojito was delicious, but I probably wouldn't have ordered it if I knew in advance that it would be $15.Also, it was a lot louder this time than last time. I suspect it was based on where we were sitting. Still, I'd go back any time."

"We went there for a birthday celebration and the food was one of the best restaurant meals I have ever eaten. Please try the beef tenderloin - the most tender and perfectly cooked piece of beef. But the best entree on the menu is the veal chop - words cannot describe how tender, how delicious this entree was - it was a treat for our tastes buds."

"As someone relatively new to the area, Maxwell's was a pleasant surprise, as we didn't expect a fine dining experience in Natick, home of many chains. The menu is diverse, with something for everyone. It was a special occasion for us and we didn't mind the expense, but I disagree with the expense category...a menu with a $60 steak is more than the $$ category that Open Table assigns. It was well worth it, however, as we had an excellent experience."

"My brother recommended Maxwells 148 and it was beyond excellent. Everyone was extremely nice, the food was amazing, and I would def come back in a heartbeat. Randy, one of the owners, went over and beyond to welcome us into the neighborhood. As you can tell, I will be back, and I recommend this to anyone who is looking for a romantic evening, with great food and service."

"Went for restaurant week dinner and was absolutely delighted! Had the lamb dumplings as appetizer and it was served over a wild mushroom reduction and port wine. Told the chef he should have this on menu during the winter months. Very comforting and tasty.
As the entree I had the delmonico steak done medium rare. Perfect. Plate came with steamed asparagus and panko dipped onion rings. These were very light and crispy.
Had the Meyer lemon cheesecake. Slice much too big but just right after a heavy meal. I finished it!!!
Can't wait to go back for dinner and may try lunch one of these afternoons."

Dessert choices were rather limited so we opted out which was fine as we were full from the appetizers/small plates and mains. Would definitely recommend and go back."

"Very disappointing. This is our 6th time eating here & will be our last. We had a hard time finding menu items that appealed to us, & were very unhappy with our choices when they arrived. My husband's salad was bland & boring & our main course, one of the fish specials was rubbery & cloyingly seasoned. It tasted very unprofessionally prepared."

"I enjoyed the ambience and the food at Maxwell's 148, but found the prices to be a bit exorbitant for a Natick location. While I would recommend this restaurant to friends for special occasion dinners, it would be with a great warning that it will not come cheap. Also, our waiter very obviously had an issue with our table of 4 requesting to receive two separate checks (so check per couple). I found it odd and quite annoying for him to have such an issue with that. Thankfully he got over his frustration and did provide good service for the rest of the night. I will revisit Maxwell's 148, but with a much different understanding on what my experience will be"

"Maxwell's never disappoints, the service, food, drinks, everything is top notch. It's inventive without being pretentious. We had lovely pasta dishes and split a salad (they are very generous with their portions too, unlike some other fine dining restaurants).

"The restaurant is nice and service is top notch, if perhaps a bit pretentious at times. Food is very good. I'm not sure it is quite worth the price, but it is a good choice for a special occasion or an every-now-and-then nice dinner outing."

"We were seated right on time for our reservation. Everything we tried was very good. Our waitress helped me pick a wine for my dinner that was a perfect match. The chef came out and spoke with the patrons at every table. We noticed several people were greeted with a welcome back, how are you doing? We definitely intend to go back."
