"I prefer the other side of the SLS much more. I made an open table reservation and the hostess tried to stick us in the shared seating bar table... Made us feel awkward when I asked for our own table. The food was good but the server also forgot about us and the hostess was clearing our plates and brought our tab when I wanted to order a glass of champagne."

"If you are a fan of Bazaar, you'll love Tres. I have always been disappointed that Bazaar was never open for lunch, but that issue has been solved with the opening of Tres!"

"Went w/ mom for brunch. Table was in a nook with a glass deer head over the mantel of a fireplace that, despite being a hot day, was actually emitting heat. The floor lamps were molded steel rifles. Sitting on the couches sank us so far down and back that reaching the table was nearly impossible. Our waitress disappeared for too long after giving menus. We ordered a la carte and asked for a muffin to accompany our egg dishes. It never came. We were never asked whether we'd like another drink or dessert. We were abandoned there in our faux urban hunting nook. The tortilla espanola was perfectly done, as was mom's manchego cheese omelette w/ zucchini blossoms. Shame the service was so neglectful and ambience so uncomfortable and pretentious."

"This is essentially a hotel bar that serves food. (Expensive tapas, roasted chicken, sliders, that sort of thing.). The decor is almost tragically chic, with a few tables and some deep, low sofas that would be comfortable if you were relaxing with a drink, but not practical if you are trying to eat a meal.
The food was mostly delicious. The best things we had were the superb crab cakes, and the chicken croquettes. The cheese board was parsimonious for the price, but delicious. The tortilla Espanola was more like a lightly cooked small round potato omelette than the hearty, firm dish I have had in Spain. Really good, but not what I was expecting. The least satisfying dish was the sliders. They were overcooked and dry."

"Had brunch there. Somewhat overpriced for the selection available. Open location right off the main entrance / lobby a little odd. Some of the selections ran out and were not quickly replaced. Excellent ham. If you are already getting brunch there anyways, the extra add on that includes an a la carte entree and a mimosa is a relatively good deal."

"Both the food and the service were absolutely fantastic. It's not often that one can dine in a very hip environment, yet still receive warm, friendly, informed service. Too often the staff decides to wear the mantle of coolness, and forgets that they are there to provide customer service. Not true at Tres. The staff struck the perfect balance - from the waitress (Amanda?), to the hostess, to the manager. We had cocktails, then dinner later, then breakfast the following day - and the staff was perfect every time. Each dish served was prepared perfectly and carried unique features. I never write glowing reviews like this, but Tres earned every word of it!"

"Service was excellent from friendly hostess to waiter. I took my friend for her birthday, and we both enjoyed the unique offerings during the tea. I'd like to see more savory dishes on offer next time."

"Wonderful. Strangely quiet on a Saturday night, but that was perfect for us. The staff are fantastic, welcoming and so helpful. And the food was sublime, with good-sized portions."

"Love this relaxed lounge/bar/restaurant at the SLS. Dinner menu is not extensive, but everything we have had has been excellent. Breakfast, Brunch and Lunch have also been great everytime we've eaten there."

"The Valentine's Day fixed menu was delicious and the portions were surprisingly large. The tables by the fireplace are perfect for a couple to get cozy and romantic. Awesome place to take a significant other. The staff was also very friendly and attentive."
