"It was ok. It left a memory of, OK! I have been to several steakhouse around the country, and I wasnt WOWED. Food was to pricey for what I recieved. $12 baked potatoe should have been huge. Not one that came out of a 5lb. bag. Just wasn't all that."

"Unbeknownst to us it was university graduation night and high school prom night. Every table was filled, many young people, noise level above normal, but service did not suffer. Wait staff were efficient, upbeat and enthusiastic. The food, as always at Morton's, was perfect. Steaks done to exact order, portions are definitely for sharing."

"Went to celebrate my graduation. They made specific menus for me that said 'congratulations graduate' on the menu. The food was amazing and the desert even better. We went in for an early dinner at 4 and it was extremely quiet, and when the dinner crowd came in, it got quite busy. All around great experience and the next time that I can afford it (which might be a while), I'll be back!"

"My husband took me to Morton's for an early Mother's Day celebration. We stood in the entry for several minutes waiting for the hostess - who was behind the curtain at the desk (you could hear her) - when she emerged at her convenience she was quite rude...not a good way to start a nice dinner. Our server was friendly; however, not a top notch server - we filled our own wine glasses and she didn't check on us after we received our food. (Another waiter that happened to walk by did ask us if it was okay). There was an accident/spill in the wine room and we had several people from the Morton's team walk in front of our table with mops/brooms/cleaning supplies and stopping to discuss the "situation" almost directly in front of our table."

"What a fabulous experience! The food was excellent and our waitress (Melanie or Melody, I can't remember which) was excellent! It was our 31st anniversary and we were treated so special-from the picture to the desserts!! I believe all of the staff made it a point to stop by our table and speak! We enjoyed our visit and will definitely go back! A great big THANK YOU to everyone at Morton's!!!!!!"

"I took my girlfriend for her birthday and let them know that it was her birthday as well. Without asking, they put confetti on the table, made personalized menus saying happy birthday and her name, and the manager came over and took a picture of us which they put in a cute little frame. On top of that there was a candle in her complementary dessert. Obviously, they did an incredible job making her feel special on her special night. Other than that, the place looks great, has good service, and great food! I highly recommend it."

"Simply Amazing!! The entire night from entering the restaurant to leaving the restaurant was perfect. I went there for an anniversary and the table was covered with sprinkles of hearts. The menu was personalized with our names on it. Received a complimentary photo and dessert. Truly felt like a VIP throughout the entire night! Oh ya, and the food was amazing. I had the Chicago Cut Bone-in Ribeye, while the lady had the filet mignon. For sides we split a baked potato and broccoli. Overall, great food, great wine, great atmosphere, and above all else, great service! I recommend!!"

"The steak reminded me of Texas roadhouse. Which isn't bad, but if the steak is marketed as prime dry aged I expect more. I've had excellent steaks at Morton's. Just not this time. Not sure why, but I'm majorly disappointed. I'll give them one more shot, if the food is average again I'll never drop 200 in Morton's again on dinner. The service was excellent. Our server, jay, was top notch."

"The experience was excellent, as usual. We've made Morton's an anniversary tradition for the past few years. The food was once again top notch. The service, this time, was not as interactive as we've had in the past, but she was quite lovely and I appreciate that she made our daughter feel welcome on our anniversary night. We got the picture and the personalized menu, which are always nice touches. My husband sent his steak back, since it was just a tad overcooked, but the staff took it in stride and made the experience quite pleasant and super quick. Overall, we enjoyed another special occasion at Morton's!!!"

"Recently we visited one of our most favorites restaurants - Morton's. As always, the service was impeccable. The manager and our server were superb. However, Morton's has drastically changed. This is probably most likely due to Landry's involvement. We visited to use a coursed Menu on a coupon that I had received from Morton's. Oddly enough, we learned that Morton's now, really doesn't like the coupons. In addition, a table of men were rudely dropping the "F" Bomb during our meal. Management did take care of the problem right away and offered an incentive for misunderstanding the coupon. Food/Service were great, but truly Morton's is not the gem of the past. In my opinion, it certainly is no longer a find dining establishment."

"This was my first experience at Morton’s my husband wanted to go there for his birthday. We made reservations online, which was very easy. I ended up having to reschedule the reservation for Sunday instead of the original Saturday and this went well. The whole experience was romantic and very personalized. The personalized menu with my husband name, and the subtle decorations were a plus. The waitress Stacy and other staff were kind, and did an awesome job. We loved the food! It was great overall."

"The steaks have gone downhill. I had confusion with the waiter (very likely my fault) and ended-up with a none-prime steak. This steak, which I ordered "medium rare to rare," was badly overdone and the waiter corrected this when the situation was brought to his attention. My concern and question was how did I end-up with a none-prime steak at a Morton's? After some research, it turns-out that Morton's had a change of ownership last year and the new corporate owners, Landry's (as in seafood), are doing what they have done with other once great brands. They are cutting corners, sourcing cheaper product and reaping profits while customer's slowly realize the change that has taken place to this once great brand of steakhouses."

"It took longer than it should have for someone to make our drink order and bring menus. There were more servers than patrons at that time so was disappointed. The dinner was not outstanding for the price. My husband and I both got filets and they had that liver taste from being in the packaging too long. They werent melt in your mouth good as at Ruth Chris. The artichoke side we got was OK. My husband makes it better. I won't be going back to Mortons. Not after an OK meal for that hefty of a price."

"We used to eat and enjoy Morton. Bad idea to go there at valentines day. We were packed like sardines and had to walk sideways. We're seated at 6:15, salad served at 7:30, and the rest at 7:45. Hardly saw the waitress and when she appeared, she was rushed. Funny thing though is she hung around when waiting for the check. NEVER AGAIN WILL I PATRONIZE THIS RESTAURANT!!"

"I was honestly torn on this reservation based on the love it or hate reviews. I went with it for our valentines day dinner and I'm glad I choose Morton's. Was it expensive? Yes...VERY! Was it worth it? Absolutely! We walked in and greeted kindly. Our coats checked and our table was ready. We were seated and greeted promptly by a friendly and energetic server. Our food was outstanding (bone in rib-eye and filet min + lobster tail), wines were great. My only comment was the time between finishing our meal and being offered desert and then the check. Seemed a bit long but it was very busy. However we never felt rushed one bit."

"It was nice to go to a restaurant on Valentine's Day Weekend and not be rushed. We were able to enjoy our meal. The service was wonderful without feeling like I was being asked a 100 times how was everything or did we need anything. Of course it is an expensive menu and I don't think the steak was that good but the lobster tail was wonderful. The potatoes and dessert were outstanding."

"I had been to Morton's steakhouse in Richmond many times before, and I always walked away very pleased with both, the service and the food. However, on Valentine's day, the staff at Morton's was overwhelmed with patrons and did a poor job handling the special occasion. First of all, understanding that Valentine's Day is one of those nights that assures a big crowd at restaurants, Morton's did a poor job taking in reservations and guaranteeing dining times for people. My fiance and I waited over 30 minutes after our reserved time to be seated. Second, the waitor (Jay) seemed like he was always distracted and did a poor job of conveying specials to us. Food was cold when it got to the table and the service was awful!!"

"From the moment my date and I entered we were treated as if we were the only people in the restaurant. They tailored the entire experience to our specific expectations and really made us feel special. Associates of mine who had previously dined at this establishment warned me of the great expense however, taking in account he caliber of the food, the portion size, the wine selection, attention to detail and level of service I'd have to say I would have gladly paid double. The atmosphere was nice , not the most romantic, but I really enjoyed the opened view of the kitchen and the sharpness of the design and the appearance of the wait staff. I would highly recommend Morton's to anyone who enjoys MAGNIFICENT food and BRILLIANT service."

"I thought it was a bit pricey. The food was very good, but the next day I looked at my bill and realized the server charged me for an additional salad when it was supposed to go with my 3- course meal deal. I paid $234.00 for two people, but I believe it was worth maybe half of the price."

"we thought the food was good but the prices are way out of line. we could of had 4 meals at our local restaurant for the same price and the food would of been just as good. this was a once in a lifetime experience as we will not be back in our lifetime. thank you!"
