The Ranch at Las Colinas is one of the few places on earth where a hard working ranch hand and a high powered business man can dine together and both feel comfortable. A restaurant with its roots reaching deep into Texas soil. Our shrimp and Redfish are caught from the Texas Gulf. We source our Texas Kobe Beef from the southern plains.

"Mother's Day brunch was great! We were visiting from out of state(first time visit to Texas!) and I found The Ranch online while looking for Mother's Day brunches in the area. I love the that there were at least 10 different stations all around the restaurant. The brunch had a wide variety of foods to satisfy everyone in my party. I loved the blackened fish, while others at my table couldn't stop talking about the applewood bacon. The desert table was a winner as well. The pecan pie and brownies were our favorites. The atmosphere was very relaxing. I will defiantly eat there again when I'm in town."

"There lies the problem. The kids said, "Lets take mom to the Ranch for mothers day, she likes the ribs there our treat dad!" We couldn't get a reservation for 7pm but we did get a reservation for 3pm. Imagine our surprise and GREAT DISAPPOINTMENT when we found out that they were only serving the brunch that day AND they are NOT open on Sundays AND we could NOT order from the menu. Since this buffet ended at 3:30pm it was all stale leftovers and not much for a dinner plus the food was staged throughout the dining area so we had to hunt and peck. We will be back but it was a very expensive brunch which no one really enjoyed or ate for $221.64 and a $30.00 tip. We want dinner next time so we will be sure to check BEFORE we make reservations."

"Great Dining experience as always. The only complaint is with a full restaurant there tends to be a lot of foot traffic wondering the restaurant looking for each of the food stations on the brunch. This was our third time so we knew what to expect. It almost makes more sense to put all the food in the patio bar area.
Great serving team in the back dining room near the back server station. They were all engaging with my table."

"Love the live country music & that you can sit outside! Love the 1/2 price bottles of wine on Saturday night! Wait staff always good & attentive. Food is always consistent! Unfortunately, they got rid of their fish tacos!! They were one of the reasons I would come here! Fortunately, I asked our waitress if I could still have them or shrimp tacos & after asking the kitchen, they were able to accommodate me w/ blackened shrimp tacos. They were delicious but....kind of expensive for 3 tacos-$15.25 & they were plenty of shrimp but I don't eat much so I would've preferred 2 at $10.50 or something.(I'll ask next time) Fish tacos were an appetizer but had 3 tacos that were a great portion size for about $10.25-more my portion size and price"

"Food was great, service was great, noise was so bad we could not carry on a conversation. Went to Starbucks for coffee and dessert after we ate so we could talk. I know there is not much you can do about it however.
I was in the hotel and restaurant business for 43 yrs so I understand markup. However when you are the one paying the bill it is hard to be happy about paying 28.00 for a bottle of wine you can buy at Sams for less than 5.00. We were there on Sauturday night and did only pay 14.00 for it."

"Held a client meeting and was very pleased with the reservations and service. Greeted and immediately directed to our table and our guests arrived later and was also brought to table side. Melissa was outstanding along with all the additional staff to accommodate all of requests promptly. The food was delicious and the onion ring appetizers also were a hit with our clients. First time experience for our client in your establishment and have agreed this would be on the venue for future lunch meetings."

"Typical of most restaurants in TX/this area; Large seating capacity, large portions, Located in a parking lot /strip mall; Service friendly, but always issue of some Made reservation with Open Table, and still stood waiting (with many empty tables ) a minimum of 10 minutes to be seated followed by nearly 30 minutes to get food order which was fairly simple: salad with meat and vegetable side, plus husbands filet entree; Moderately better meat quality due to the "farm to table" nature of the menu, but nothing unique or special here, Popular due to the covered gazebo with music available on some nights; - brocollini reeked of gas and tasted like butane - inedible, other than that, ok; Run by amateurs IMHO, but that seems to be the norm her"

"This was our fourth or fifth time to The Ranch. We were celebrating my wife's birthday with friends. The food is consistently very good. My wife loves the chicken and waffles appetizer! Our group had steak, fish, pasta and chicken fried steak - all delicious! Saturday is 1/2 price bottled wine so we drank 2x what we planned. :) This restaurant is fun with a nice outdoor bar with live music. I wouldn't put this restaurant on my "special occasion date night" list since it's a little noisy and wait staff is more like a chain restaurant - a little too present and wants to be your friend - but quality is always consistent and a great place for a group dinner with friends!"

"The restauarant was a recommendation for my birthday dinner on Saturday night. The waiter we had, Chase was very knowledgeable of the wine list and food that we all ordered, as well as other suggestions. The establishment was very presentable and cozy for any type of evening. Fireplaces was wonderful for the scenery because it was kind of cold that night. I will recommend this establishment to others and they will be seeiing me again for a dining in the near future."

"My husband and I were entertaining a friend from England who requested someplace "Texan" and quiet. After a considerable amount of research we decided onThe Ranch. The web photos and menu items were enticing. It appeared to be the perfect fit for our friend's request. When we arrived, there was an energetic and lively flair to the atmosphere with the typical bar scene and live band. I was worried we were not going to be able to enjoy quiet conversation. But alas, we were escorted to a more private room in the back. From the moment we sat down we received good ol' southern hospitality from our VERY pregnant waitress. She gave our guest the full run down of Texas cuisine, complete with Texas accent. Everything was outstanding! 2 thumbs up!"

"The Ranch provides good food at a good price. This place is perfect for a group. For some reason I always forget about The Ranch, when in fact it is a great alternative to the chain restaurants that are all over the place. Was there with a group of 7 people from work. Everyone seemed to enjoy what they selected, and actually had difficulty making their decision because of the options. The menu has a nice variety and along with good cocktails. The flatbread is a great appetizer. The ribs were a hit with a couple of the guys. I had the fried chickent which was good. The potato salad is addictive. Service was solid and friendly. Was there on a Monday night, and it was very busy."

"been here 8 times over the last year and will continue to go back , but the server this time around seemed so unitrested in waiting on us !! Gave some many oppurtunites to upsell , yet he never did ! refills was a challenge ... first time this has happened at the restaurant so i know its not the normal.just wanted someone to know.."

"This is a great place for casual business lunches. They are very busy so be sure to make a reservation. Food is very good with a wide selection. The service was fast with just the right mix of checking in while being respectful to not interupt the business discussion. Good energy and nice atmosphere!"

"Noise level was extremely loud. Hard to hold conversation, part of which was due to being seated at a round table for 6 even though I had made resevations two days earlier for 4 people. Was told there were no 4 tops at my arrival on time, so had to be seated at a bigger table. Will not go back."

"Good food and prices are within reason. The only complaints I had was that the waiter served my soup and main course at the same time. I would have liked to see some separation time between courses. He also served the fried pies and ice cream with a fork!"

"Took my visiting sales staff here for lunch to celebrate a great pitch to a potential client. Staff was very attentive and didn't mind us staying long enough to talk about what we did in the morning. The guys from out of town said they would definitely bring clients to the Ranch next time they were in town. They were all very impressed."

"We were very glad that we made a reservation for our group of five as The Ranch was packed at 7:00 p.m. on a Wednesday night! We were seated with no wait so the reservation worked well. Our waiter was very friendly but seemed to get a little distracted and left us for way too long to ponder the menu. But once we did finally place our order for an appetizer and meals at the same time, then the appetizer arrived quickly and our meal arrived right as we finished our appetizer. We thought the food and ambiance were very good. It was an enjoyable evening."

"Very nice dinner enjoyed here. The food was different but very very good. It was kind of a country themed menu but each dish seemed to have its on spin to it. The crab dip is one of my new favorites. The service was excellent as well. Will definitely be going back!"

"This was my second time to visit the Ranch. the first time i had the shrimp salad, it was good. This time the price of the food didn't compare with the quality of the food. the steak was good but under cooked. the grilled lobster was over cooked to the point i wouldn't eat it. the sides were OK. the desert was great as were the cocktails. overall i really like the ambiance but wont go back to eat."

"Jacob was our server and we went with with his recommendations. He was spot on from the slow cooked ribs to the chicken fried steak. A cold Revolver High Brass really was the icing on the cake for a perfect dinner. If you want TRUE Texas flair and cuisine then you need to reserve a table now. I can't wait to return and try a ribeye or New York strip."
