Café Bistro is a stylish, yet comfortable restaurant featuring a contemporary American interpretation of classic bistro cuisine. Located on the 7th floor of the San Francisco Shopping Centre, it offers an exciting view of the downtown Market district.
Cafe Bistro food is visually powerful, bold in flavor and unique to the marketplace. The menu of flavorful appetizers, colorful salads, brick oven entrees and boldly flavored sandwiches are complimented by a well-chosen selection of hand-crafted cocktails and local California wines. A suggested finish to the meal would be the signature warm White Chocolate Bread Pudding or chocolate drizzled Profiteroles.

"I had made reservations for lunch about a month ago for a special get together for 5 of us who all grew up here in San Francisco and have known each other since grammar school. I asked for a table by the window looking up the Powell Street hill. It was so welcoming to be greeted immediately and told that our table was waiting for us. We had a wonderful lunch, excellent service, enjoyed watching the cable cars going up and down Powell St., and delicious crab salad sandwiches."

"What can you expect out of a cafe in a department store? Well, not a lot: salads, pizzas, sandwiches. The cocktails were poorly mixed, the sandwiches were underwhelming, the pizzas weren't hot. This café is slightly better than going to the food court in this mall, in that the café is a lot quieter and you're not under pressure to clear out the table for someone else. But the food in the Westfield food court is generally better, and it's cheaper too. If you want a restaurant experience, there's several other places in the mall or nearby that are just as good. Going here just reminded me of how much I miss Out the Door for an inexpensive casual restaurant in Westfield."

"The experience was very good. This is the second time we (group of 4)met and we much appreciated the fact they didn't hurry us to leave. This time they were too anxious to get our order and all of our group hadn't arrived. The menu arrived as we sat down and waiter kept returning to get our order and we hadn't time to even evaluate what we wanted. Not a big thing but I would recommend the restaurant."

"I specifically asked for a semi private, quiet booth or table, and when we arrived, there were just a few people there and the restaurant was pretty much empty; but the hostess went to sit us immediately smack-dab next to another group. I then asked her if we could have the booth adjacent, which she kindly agreed to, and it was perfect. It was just annoying that with an empty restaurant, the hostess elects to sit us right against another bigger group without any regard for our particular wishes. The food was served fairly quickly, but there was no bread, or breaksticks served, and that seemed a little odd. They have a good menu, and the service is good so overall my concerns are somewhat minor."

"I hadn't been to this restaurant in some time. We met for dinner and were able to sit in a comfortable booth. The menu was excellent and we were able to talk and actually hear one another speak. "This is a restaurant with a view. I had lunch with three friends on Friday 2/8/2013. I had the salmon salad. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the presentation beautiful. However, I was unable to eat the greens of the salad because the dressing was too salty. One of my dining companions who also had a salad but not the same one I had said very early in the meal that the salad dressing was too salty for her."

"May have dodged a bullet (tables on both sides of us got items left off of their orders), but we really enjoyed our visit. A nice selection on the menu, tasty appetizers and entrees, inventive cocktails, and a nice view over Market Street."
