Modern Californian cuisine utilizing locally grown, sustainably farmed and fair-traded products. Our goal is to not only enhance quality but also to support a new, more responsible attitude toward our community and the world around us. That is why we donate all net profits to chartable causes. Both warm and inviting, nature was the inspiration for Andrei's interior; from the soaring two-story waterfall in the lobby to the striking onyx and granite bar and eco-friendly pecan wood floors, every detail was hand-selected for its natural beauty. We welcome you to visit Andrei's for a truly special dining experience.
"We had 8 people there for Mother's Day brunch. There was a delicious fixed price offering, with 3-4 choices/course. Despite the limited menu and the fact that the restaurant was not full, service was very slow, servers were confused (an extra appetizer arrived, the entree order was mixed up). Water glasses went unfilled unless we managed to find someone and ask for water. When anyone managed to flag down our server for a second drink, the server did not take anyone else's order. With dessert, some people were given spoons, others not. Service was careless and spotty--we felt like we were imposing just by being there. Brunch took almost 3 hours. We were all determined to enjoy ourselves, so no one made a fuss, but it was a disappointment."

"Andrei's is a great place. I was expecting more of a fancy atmosphere, but it has a more casual feel which is a nice surprise. It reminds me of a hotel restaurant/lounge. But the food is excellent! I love how they offer wine flights and little bites of desserts. The wines by the glass are nicely priced as is their happy hour menu. I love the elderflower champagne drink, chicken kabobs, fish tacos, goat cheese stuffed chicken and the creme brûlée desserts. And it is a non-profit restaurant - so you are eating and drinking for a Good Cause! . It is our new neighborhood hang out!"

"I appreciate that Andrei's is always available for lunch. I have never called and been told their reservations are booked. The food is great and a wonderful ambience to a hectic day. The restaurant is open and inviting as well as the staff and servers."

"This is one of my favorite places in Irvine to eat at. We had a great meal. Service was a little slow but all in all we had a great lunch. They brought over a dessert for the birthday gal and a gift cad which I've never seen before done at a restaurant."

"The lighting was very dark - we couldn't read the menus well. One candle for a table of six. Then half-way through the dinner a bus-person turned on some lights. We would have asked, but we didn't know it could be done. The food came and some of the dishes were luke-warm, especially the salmon that my wife had. The good parts were the appetizer - the Mediterranean platter was very tasty and the goat-cheese cheesecake was amazing. I had the short ribs and they were very good as well. The server was a bit elusive. My wife had been there for a Christmas dinner with a business group and was very impressed. This time, we left disappointed in many respects."

"My first time and loved it! GORGEOUS environment. GREAT for a business meeting....we didn't have to yell at each other to be heard. Restaurant was full and busy but ambiance lent to good business meeting and relaxing, catch-up time with a client. Had the Chicken stuffed with cheese....very yummy! Going back for sure! Thanks."

"I'm a big fan of Andrei's. We started with the vegetable arancini. They were very small compared to what a arancini should be, maybe half the size of a normal one. It was tasty, but should be larger. But, I was a little disappointed with the braised short rib. It was my favorite dish, but just wasn't as tender and mouth-watering as the first time I had it. Also, the mashed potatoes weren't garlicky enough. Two people in our party ordered the burger which sounded really good on the menu, but expected the patty to be hand-formed versus pre-formed. It was good, but could have been better. The Kennebec fries were as awesome as always. The Mahi Mahi market fish was beautiful presentation with a hefty serving of fish. It was succulent and tasty."

"Considering the prior reviews we were pretty disappointed. We had two orders of lamb chops, a steak and short ribs. We all felt the food just lacked any real flavor or interest. The deserts were good. Just not up,to the prices etc."

"I usually go to Andrei's during happy hour. This time I went with my work group for lunch. The food was fine if a bit on the pricey side for lunch but that is Irvine for you. The service during lunch however was not as good during my many happy hour tours there. The servers were slow with basic things like water, bread, and a to-go box for one in the party."

"Had high expectations based on what I'd read. Took a client. Food was fine. Nothing was amazing. Two harried waiters switched back and forth. The place was pretty empty but they made it clear that dinner was over and it time for us leave. Wine selection was what you would expect at a grocery store. Nothing distinctive."

"Went to lunch on "restaurant week". The chopped salad was horrible ! just a bunch of pieces of chicken and veg thrown in a bowl. No dressing, no taste !
The appetizers (spinach and feta rolled in a filo dough) and desert (lemon tart) were the best part of the meal."

"Heard about Andreis's on the Fork Report radio show- Andrei brought food to the show host, Neil. We went for the lunch prix fixe for OC Dine week. We ordered one of each item on the menu - the best tasting item was the chopped salad. We won't be back."

"Just had a sweet experience at Andrei's. Beautiful atmosphere and the first time I was blown away by the music playing. My server TJ's description of the restaurants history and mission was very inspiring. If I was local, I would feel good planning a large scale gathering at Andrei's to help support the cause. The food was nice. The fingerling potatoes and greens alongside the halibut were perfectly seasoned. I will return next time I'm in the area."

"An unexpected ambient and taste experience nestled in an Irvine Company planned office/apartment development, You enter to be greeted with clean cool modern natural stone and the rush of falling water, then are directed up the staris by a sign. The dining room is window lined and bright and welcoming. We enjoyed a 3- course contemporary Mediterranean meal courtesy of the OC Restaurant week fixed price menu. Spinach cigars and lamb (note: the lamb was ground, not sheered) pita with rice pilaff for me, Andrei's signature Mediterranean chopped salad with chicken for my companion. Lemon meringue tarts for both. The food was flavorful and generous in portions, though not notably plated. A good time and experience value was had by all."

"We went to Andrei's to celebrate our 8th wedding anniversary, and the warm friendly staff didn't dissapoint! The hostess congratulated us at the door and quickly seated us to our seat. We were served by Blaire, who was fantastic! We took her recommendations on a couple of dishes that were a bit off the beaten path for us (warm octopus salad and a bourbon pudding for dessert), and both picks exceeded our expectations! I wholeheartedly recommend Andrei's as "the new spot" for anyone seeking fine dining (at a reasonable price) in central Orange County. Not to mention the fact that they only use local produce and donate the profits towards medical research."

"Went here for Vday and I was a litle worried about the ambiance at first because the pictures posted weren't very telling. However, I enjoyed the waterfall on the wall and the overall vibe of the restaurant. It definitely worked for Vday. The surf and turf was actually very good and the 3 courses they had picked for Vday were filling and delicious. Happy with the experience overall."

"Fourth time here. This time for Valentines Day. My request for a specific table was fulfilled perfectly even though the restaurant was completely full. The special dinner menu was outstanding. The service was excellent. Food was delicious. My girl and I enjoyed the evening tremendously. Even the valet srevice was spot on. This is one of the best-kept secrets for dining in Irvine."

"I went with my girlfriend for Valentine's Day dinner and they had a special menu. While the food looked great, generally it wasn't as good as I had hoped. The fish was a little overcooked, the steak while cooked perfectly was a little tough, the lobster salad was kind of bland, the cheese fondue was a little oily. The desserts were great, absolutely no complaints there.
The setting is great and we had a good time, but I just think for $200.00 I should've been more wowed by the food. I would like to go back to try out there regular menu though so there's still a chance to sway my opinion"
