Welcome! Dilly Cafe's an independent, family-owned restaurant with a 26 year history in the National Historic Landmark Village of Mariemont, Ohio, just east of downtown Cincinnati along Rt.50, also known as Wooster Pike. We have grown into a full-service, contemporary American bistro-style eatery recognized as having one of the best wine and beer programs in the country. Indeed, Wine Spectator Magazine has awarded us their "Best of Award of Excellence" award two years in a row (with a special recognition for value!) Both RateBeer.com and BeerAdvocate.com have recognized our draft and retail beer selections as among the best in the world.
And ah, the food! From fresh grilled salmon fillet, to Ohio-made pastas, to grilled filet mignon, to our signature Grilled Shrimp & Asparagus Salad (a CityBeat Magazine "Best" winner!), every hungry diner is sure to find that special meal that hits the spot. Reservations for indoor dining room only (no reservations for the patio).
"The food and atmosphere were excellent. We both ate veggie burgers that were delicious, and served with a generous portion of fries. The night was perfect for patio seating, so the outdoor area was full. I would definitely go again. My one and only complaint - for being there for the first time, our server was not very helpful. She was unsure of selections on the wine list vs. what was carried in the stores market area. She also didn't explain any of the specials (which we had learned about before dining from the restaurants Facebook page)."

"Went to Dilly for mothers day and had a really enjoyable experience. Beer Cheese is very tasty and the sandwiches as well. Servo e was slower but to be expected given the number of people. Definitely recommend."

Dillie Cafe has wonderful outdoor seating and some great menu and beer selections but if you have to sit indoors on a weekday evening (ours was a Wednesday), it is noisy, crowded and confusing. The wait staff are way too busy to attend to guests.
Perhaps the weekend, would be a bettter option."

"Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. My husband had a pasta dish with Italian sausage and he said it was very tasty. I had pasta primavera and it was also. Dry good. Our server's name was Alex and she was friendly and energetic. Always enjoy going to this restaurant."

"It's not the same Dilly Deli. New menu is a disappointment. Food was served at room temperature. The server took it back and was nice about it, but this never happened in the past. Probably wont go back for awhile."

"Greatly enjoyed my catch of the day, with wonderfully light curried vegetables. My son tried the salmon burger and also loved his soup. Only thing missing were the breadsticks we saw other tables receive while we waited ;-( Overall a great spot-- pretty noisy on a Sat. Night but delicious food!"

"A really nice place to get good, interesting food while still being able to take your kids. Our servers were great in terms of dealing with two energetic toddlers. The food is good, and the wine and beer list is great."

"It had been a few months since my husband and I went to the Dilly Cafe and they completely changed their menu! Our old favorites - crab cakes, Stilton pasta, and seared tuna -- were taken off and replaced with a handful of new items. What we did try -- gnocchi and shepherd's pie -- were excellent, but still wish the old menu was brought back!
Also, I think this used to be a great beer lover's restaurant, but lately the menu has been less interesting. More rotating stuff please!"

"Me and everyone in the party loved the atmosphere. Very cozy. The place was packed yet our service was amazing. Katie definitely took care of us. She was also able to answer all of our questions about the extensive beer list. We were definitely impressed with the beer cheese. It's the best I've ever had hands down! I am happy to say that we will dedi Italy be back. We had a great time, great service and great food."

"Don't know what to say!. We used to love the Dilly and would go there before catching a movie at the Mariemont. That is what we did on Friday and that is what we will not do again anytime soon. My husband and I each had a soup (loaded potato and cream of asparagus). Too much salt.. Then my husband ordered the gnocchi with homemade sausage. B - and I had the salmon burger. The fact that it was no a burger but some kind of gallette put on a piece of bread, and that it was dry and tasteless turned out to be the least of my worries. What bothers me the most is that I am still searching for the salmon in that so called salmon burger and that it was served with sweet potato fries seasoned with... cinnamon..."

"Do Not like the new menu. Miss our favorite Caesar Salad. The items on the menu are as if they are trying a little too hard to be current. The Dilly used to be the comfortable, reliable restaurant that was our favorite. I am afraid we won't be back for awhile. The live music makes conversation nearly impossible."

"Great music adds to the dining experience. Menu offers something for everyone. Gumbo was great. Swordfish special was good but a bit dry...common issue for swordfish. Beer and wine selection is great. Our server added to our experience and was very attentive."

"We had a great time. Our server was terrific and made good recommendations at my request. The food was fun and delicious and served promptly. Unfortunately, we had an appointment and couldn't linger, but Dilly was a perfect place for our casual (if all too brief) Valentine celebration. There was even special Valentine decor!"

"Perfect Valentine's night in Mariemont. Great food and wine at Dilly's with mellow live guitar in the background. Short walk to a movie and Graeters afterward. Sweet memories!"

"We were disappointed that the Dilli Cafe changed their menu AGAIN and that they took all of our favorites off of it and we were forced to eat food that was not great. We will not be back for a while, even though we live so close to it."

"I was REALLY disappointed. We have been going to Dilly Cafe once, twice, or more times per month for the past 5 years. However, they recently changed their menu, and I am not impressed - actually I am sad because I do not think we will continue to go there. They have significantly reduced their offerings - getting rid of some of their really good items. So, the selection was disappointing. Of course they still have beer cheese, which is the only reason to go now. We got the new Gnocchi dish - the sauce was flavorless, the sausage seemed pre-packaged and chewy, and the gnocchi were overcooked. They have even fewer vegetarian options than before. I hope this is a temporary change and they come to their senses soon."

"Great place from just a glass of wine or beer, to a lighter snack or meal, to a featured entree. I often enjoy the crab cakes dinner, but when I'm not so hungry I can put together my own smaller meal by ordering just a couple of crab cakes and grilled asparagus a la carte. The cranberry chutney makes the "Mariemont Gobbler" makes the turkey sandwich a special offering."

"I love the vibe at the Dilly Cafe. The wine and beer lists are great. The food is usually solid, but not exceptional. On my last visit, I had the fish & chips. The fries were skinny (not pub chip style) but well seasoned and very good. The fish was a generous piece, but lacking flavor. Our server was nice, but a little scattered. The live music was great."

"Skirt steak was good but green beans were heavily smoothered in bacon and onions, overwhelming the flavor. Rice was very heavily seasoned with garlic. Atmosphere felt like a cafeteria setting. Doubt I will return."
