"Had really high hopes. Breakfast put me on the defensive. Breakfast buffet nice; good oatmeal, toast, omelettes; BUT truly awful service! Had to beg for plates 2B cleared, and 2get more coffee. Need more busboys so waiters can do jobs. some guy had to get up to help himself to + coffee (our waitress had to trudge 2kitchen to get Milk for Coffee!!!). Minimal liquor in expensive cocktails a real disappointment. Our 1st waiter went missing so a 2nd had to step in on 2 occasions! Felt waiters were oleaginous. Had the WORST cappuccino I've ever had in a hi priced restaurant; scallops entrée nice, but, sadly, was half-way thru b/4 waiter offered me a 2d glass of wine. Service Not worth the price. Expected way more."

"Fun, mediterranean, well appointed design. Hostess stand is low profile and somewhat difficult to find. You walk right into the seating space then happen upon the stand.
Very nice (English) hostess. Fun back-lit menu's. Good for those of us w bad eyes.
Waiter was kind, pleasant and informative but got busy and was slow to respond to clear dishes and get the dessert menu down. Time was late and we left w/o sweets and coffee. A loss of coin for the establishment.
Food was decent. May go back for drinks and appetizers in the beautiful space.

"We tried this restaurant as a recommendation from a friend who is a chef himself, and had been here on holiday. The menu is limited and the best steak in the house is a poor New York cut. The halibut did not arrive that day, so they mentioned in passing it would be substituted with grouper. The side dishes and sauces served with the main dish are weird and unappetizing. While I appreciate the inventiveness and the chef trying for unique dishes, I like more traditional fare and would like to see more of an effort to please those of us who do not care for contemporary food."

"The brunch was amazing; I've been multiple times. Great food. Awesome views. However, this particular experience was not among my favorites because of some pesky birds that kept coming near my table. At one point there was a large black crow sitting right above my head while I (tried) to eat. I mentioned this to the server and she didn't do much about it and acted like it was normal. Ew! I understand this is difficult for the restaurant to control, but they need to do something to stop these birds from coming near the food."

"This is such a beautiful resort, the restaurant was decorated beautifully for Valentines Day. My husband and I live down the street from the Montelucia and we go to the spa and have vacations often. We had never eaten at Prado and figured what better time to try this restaurant out than Valentines day. I can say it was the WORST food I've ever experienced....we wished we would have stayed home. From start to finish the food just got worse. Terrible menu. YUCK. Otherwise, gorgeous scenary, great service and beautiful grounds. Menu needs improvement. We will never eat at Prado again."
