"My mom and I had two amazing fish dishes on a Monday when we also enjoyed a half-price bottle of Pinot Gris! My arctic char was particularly good, with the Brussels sprouts done perfectly. It was a bit cool for Mom so we ate indoors, but the patio was well occupied and inviting."

"Went on a monday night as a visitor to Littleton. Nice location....don't expect to park to close but an easy walk in super dowtown area (reminds me of Littleton , NH)
Monday was half-price wines..covered all botles on very good list..Super deal which let use buy an expensive wine to suit a great meal. Salmon Tartar app was outstanding and lamb chops entre was great. Prices were reasonable compared to downtown Denver equivelent dining. Server was a bit overloaded (for a monday night even?). Seating arrangment is a bit odd and and large group in dinning room made things a little noisy but great food and drinks made it well worth the visit. Can't wait to go back."

"I had a 10:30 a.m. reservation and because it was busy we waited about 10 minutes for our table. Service was attentive and friendly. Portion sizes were big and the pastries were homemade. I will definitely go again, probably for lunch. The outdoor seating was lovely. Great place that I found by accident!"

"Had dinner with some friends and the whole experience was fabulous! I had the lamb which was some of the best lamb I've ever had and the Arctic Char that my fiance had was also superb. The wine selection was great, our server was very friendly and attentive, and a great time was had by all."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Cafe Terracotta. We were seated on the big front porch and it was very charming. Our dinner was fantastic. "We liked the ambiance, our drinks and the service. We would definitely return. They did not over salt the meal, which is great because I do prefer to add salt myself. Since I avoid high sodium I generally like my meal to be spicier. Next time I will ask them if they can spice it up a notch.

"The quality of the food and service was exceptional. However our overall experience was frustrating. There was confusion as to which version of the menu we had seen since it had just changed. (We saw 3 versions, old, new and incorrect.) They were out of the item we wanted for dessert (creme brullee). At the end of the meal, they served us complimentary drink because we were celebrating an anniversary and that was not correct either. It was a tough evening, it felt like every time we ordered something, the answer was no. I felt really bad for our server, she had to deliver a lot of bad news that evening. Very poor management of what used to be a very special place in Littleton. Won't be going back : ("

"This is our favorite restaurant in the metro Denver area. They change their menu seasonally and the chef comes up with creative and delicious items. I also have gluten limitations and they have multiple choices of gluten free items. The ambiance is perfect and cozy with exposed brick walls housed in an historic building in downtown Littleton. We have always had great service even when seated at the bar (because we failed to make reservations). Delicious every time for breakfast, lunch or dinner!"

"I've had mixed experiences at Cafe Terra Cotta. We've sat outside and enjoyed brunch immensely. We've sat inside at regular tables and found it too loud. This past weekend, we sat in the private booth off the kitchen and loved it. We could really have a nice chat with the other couple that joined us.
As for the food, in the past, the Wellington was a nice large, square portion full of vegetables in addition to the chicken. This time, it was a tiny oval with a tiny portion of mushrooms and a smallish chicken breast. The gluten free pasta dish was better than expected. The char was only so so. The calamari had an odd flavoring.
The bread basket was warm and yummy. The water was kept topped off most of the meal."

"The food here was very good - there were 4 of us and we all cleaned our plates. However, I was pretty disappointed in the service. We arrived and waited 15-20 minutes for our reservation only to be seated at a table that was empty the entire time and was sitting right in front of us. Our waitress didn't tell us her name and was too busy socializing with her friends at the table literally across from us to clear our plates or offer another glass of wine. The manager even saw numerous members of his staff sitting with this person in the dining room and did nothing about it. Nothing was comped for waiting 20 minutes which I would expect for a nice place, without asking. I'm not sure I'd go back but if you get good service, food was good."

"The waiter was excellent. The atmosphere was quaint and comfortable. The quality of the food was great. However, I realize that high quality restaurants often serve smaller portions, but the scallops entre, without the rice, was the size of an appetizer and left the patron very hungry. Thirty dollars for three scallops is kind of ridiculous, even at a fine restaurant, and it gave us little motivation to return."

"We went to Terra Cotta thinking it would be a nice, quaint restaurant for our 23rd anniversary. The food was quite good, but the place was so noisy we could barely hear ourselves talk. What was supposed to be a romantic evening turned into us trying to leave as soon as possible. We had also mentioned in our reservation request that it was our anniversary, but no one even acknowledged it. We thought someone would have at least wished us a happy anniversary. The food was good, especially the dessert and the cranberry/feta salad. Not sure the food was good enough for a return visit though."

"Dining at Cafe Terra Cotta was very enjoyable for our party of 6. We originally made the reservation for 4 people, then 5, and eventually ended up with 6, and we were happily accommodated. We loved the beautiful historical building that the restaurant is housed in. The food was delicious, wine selection was ample, and the service was first-rate! Our only complaint was the parking situation - we were running late due to rush-hour traffic, then had to drive around the block several more times to find any parking, which made us even more tardy. The lot in the back of the restaurant was already completely full and we had fairly early 5:00 reservations."

"The pan-seared walleye was extraordinary. We had an excellent wine recommendation from our server; the Schug Chardonnay. This charming, warm bistro in a Victorian house off the main street of downtown Littleton is an incredible find."

"Pleasantly surprised! Great to find a foodie restaurant in the southwest suburbs! We came for 5280 restaurant week to try it out and were so glad we did! We shared the cheese plate and a caesar salad, both very good. For entres my husband had the short ribs which he enjoyed but I thought were a little dry and overcooked, and I had the chicken wellington which was excellent. We will definitely be back!"

"Cafe Terra Cotta was a wonderful evening out!! Our server Andrea was friendly, quick, and very knowledgeable about the menu. We did not feel rushed even though it was Restaurant Week and I am sure they had plenty of reservations. The portions were adequate, and the food sublime. We are looking forward to summer evenings on the patio this year. Thank You for a wonderful night!!"

"We had a wonderful experience for my birthday celebration. The food is fantastic! My filet came out rare instead of medium and I sent it back twice. But once it was perfect for me, I enjoyed it a lot! The blue cheese mashed potatos were divine! Our waitress was incredible. She made it a great experience. My son loves the fish and chips!

"I frequent Cafe Terra Cotta for Breakfast and Lunch, can't rave enough. BUT, During the 2013 5280 week, Cafe Terra Cotta came in third during "5280" dinner.

Note: The restaurant is very small, therefore, the noise level is VERY high.

Choice of soup or salad (add $7.00 pp) most restaurant's include - poor
Main Course - Very small portions! Friend ordered the braised beef rib and got this very large bone with about 2 inches of meat. - poor
House wine - $11.00 - very poor
(drinks are VERY expensive)
$52.80 became $105.50 per couple. (1 drink each)
BEST PART- the dessert (to share) Oatmeal cookies with ice cream and pecans and caramel."

"Made a reservation on a whim on open table. It was during 5280 week (a kind of restaurant week in Denver apparently), but even the somewhat restricted menu was excellent. Service was slow at first, but was eventually attentive and friendly. My wife had the root vegetable bisque which she liked very much. For higher-end casual dining, the portions were on the bigger end. Parking difficult due to its location in a neighborhood, so expect a little walk. Would return and recommend to others."

"First time to Cafe Terracotta, but will definitely be back again. Loved the 5280 menu, which is the main reason we went - to give it a try. Most restaurants do not have so many great choices for 5280, so this was a plus. We loved all the food. The service was personable and prompt. We will definitely return."
