"We have been going to Ruth Chris Steak house in Atlantic City, NJ for over 6 years and continue to find most of the same people working there which says a lot about how they care about employees. The filet is without a doubt the best our family agrees from NY to Fla. You will always find the staff polite and friendly and willing to make sure your dining experience is wonderful. "My wife and I celebrated Mother's Day there on Saturday night. Food was great, so was the service. The presentation was excellent, atmosphere really nice. Everyone of the staff were pleasant, accomodating and friendly. The steaks were outstanding. We will surely come again soon."

While the bar as well as the dining rooms were crowded it was only moments before we were served our beverages and upon finishing them we were led to our table where the exceptional service and great food experience was only enhanced by the attentiveness and professionalism of the entire waitstaff. Dinner was served at a comfortable and unhurried pace and everything we ordered was prepared perfectly and to our specifications.

"This place is great! The food is awesome! Although there are amazing appetizers we learned not to go overboard by getting too many otherwise we'd never finish the main course. The Filet is excellent...melts in your mouth. The NY Strip is mouth watering. The service is great and this is the only place I never feel guilty about dropping a couple of hundred bucks on. It's totally worth every cent!"

"We went to Ruth Chris to celebrate our son's birthday. As always, we were greeted warmly and seated promptly. Rose petals were scattered on the table as a special birthday touch. Our server, Jill came right over and took our drink order and told us the specials of the day. When she returned with our drinks, she took our dinner order. The food came out exactly as we asked for it. We all had NY Strip steaks and they were superb. The creamed spinach, broccoli, and mashed potatoes were delicious as well. The complimentary slice of chocolate sin cake was excellent. We love to come here on special occasions. The food and service are always excellent. Ask for Jill if you go. She is great."

"Absolutely wonderful, as always, for any Ruth Chris we dine at. I did mix it up this time and had fish (at a steak house!), it was probably one of the best fish dinners I ever had. I am from Florida so I am picky about my fish. It was sea bass! Yummy!!! I always get the filet when I go to a Ruth Chris - which is wonderful (my husband had that). I also love their vodka and grapefruit because it is fresh squeeze juice."

"Being a patron of this particular restaurant for over 8 years and visiting more than twice a month I have noticed numerous changes
Other than the restaurant having had 4 general managers in this time span the service has also been effected by the departure of many of the waitstaff that had the experience and dedication to provide excellent service. Additionally while the overall cost of everything has risen the cost of each item had risen more so, while the portions and overall quality have diminished.
On my most recent visit I hosted a party of 6 and never received a visit from the general manager who was in house though not "on the floor" for the entire 2 hours we spent dining
In my opinion that is poor customer relations"

"The service and food was impeccable. The greeters knew it was our anniversary, and they sat us then spread fresh rose petals on our table. The atmosphere was beautiful soft and romantic. We had the 3course special and the sizzle steak was amazing. At the end when they served us our cheesecake which was phenomenal, they have us complimentary champagne since it was our anniversary!! Also of note, we shared te calamari as an appetizer and it was te best calamari we'd ever eaten and the plate was huge!!!! Great experience will def go back!"

"I ordered one of the Classics (6oz filet and seafood trio). The tomato and crab soup was good. The filet was fine but the seafood was fair at best, the scallop was OK, the shrimp was rather tasteless and the small lobster tail was overcook and partially inedible. The strawberrycheesecake was good. Service was excellent.
My dining companion had a ceasar salad that was good and the chilean sea bass was done well.
I've been there when it was better."

his time but also left us alone for a romantic dinner. The food was very good, excellent steaks. The decor could use some updating. My booth seat had a big piece of tape on it to cover a tear. There is no view except the bus stop on Atlantic Ave. & the police cars with sirens on most of the dinner time, up and down Atlantic Ave. but that is AC on any night I suppose. Our window curtain had a burn hole in it. The decor doesn't go with the expensive dinner. The place could use some designer's flare. The Manager did come over to our table twice to extend his warmth and ask if everything was satifactory. All in all it was a very nice evening."

"Upon our arrival, we were very pleased to valet park. We were about 45 minutes early for our reservations and asked if possible to seat us early. The hostess said that we could only be seated closer to our reservation time. we tried to sit at the bar, but no seating was available so we headed over to the Melting Pot....where we spent the next 40 minutes. Upon returning to the restaurant, we were quickly seated. The service was excellent and we enjoyed the Restaurant Week specials. They did forget to honor a birthday at our table, but that was ok! Overall, it was an enjoyable experience!!"

"The overall service was pretty good. the waitress we had did not come around as much as she should have although I realize it was really busy that night. the only other thing was that one of the waitress spilled a glass of ginger ale on her but she was ok. "We ordered the AC restuarant week special. The soup and desert were very good. The 6 ounce filet came on a plate with nothing else on it, not even any garnsh. We had ordered the special thin french fries which we love but the waiter brought the regular thick french fries in error. We compained and he brought the correct order when we had finished our entree. When the bill arrived we were charged for both orders of fries. To make up for the error he did not charge us for the coffee. All in all, this was a very disappointing dinner."

"The only things that bother me was that the bread basket was taken off the table when the main course came. I went with a group of 3 and the butter scoop was enough for one. I try to stay away from bread and butter when I'm home but out it's what I crave. It wasn't warm and tasted dry. I loved the rest of the meal but to me this was a big part."

"Food and Service were excellent. The only complaint we had was our booth table was too narrow, so we were on each others feet and table cloth was way too big......every time we moved the table cloth moved with us."

"The service was good, a slight wait on greeting once we were seated, but very attentive during the meal. Filet over cooked, ordered medium, closer to medium well/well, no taste, and sweet potato side consistency was lumpy and cool. We had steak wrapped, later asked for dessert wrapped, paid bill, never saw server or dessert after."

"It was Restaurant Week. When we entered the restaurant at 5:15 pm the desk staff was extremely disorganized. It was surprising because they had only been open for 15 minutes and there were not many people there.
We were also very surprised to see how little the restaurant had on the menu compared to last year. It was clear that they wanted customers to spend a lot more money. Potatos and vegetables are each around $9 and were not included.
Ts was our 3rd attempt at Restaurant Week and our last. The food is phenomenal, the service is excellent, but each year they offer less and less. Disappointing!"

"All around great place! We chose this restuarant due to Restuarant Week, but I'd go back any day. The staff was very friendly and the Manager did his rounds to say hello and indulge in conversations, and even went to get more water for us upon his own initiative. The apple and candied walnut salad was so delicious! Gumbo had just enough kick to it. We both had the petite filet, medium rare, and it was melt in your mouth good!! Garlic mashed potatoes and broccolli au gratin were both very good. The chocolate sin cake - was exactly that! It was amazing. The cheesecake was so light and amazing as well. The music was low, easy to hear each other speak and definitely a place I would recommend and also return to and soon!"

"Went for restaurant week. Not sure if they gave our server too many tables or if she didnt think we were "important" but it took forver for drinks to arrive. We had no bread plates. No plates for our appetizers. Server didnt check on us during our meal. And then she told the table shed bring forks so they could share my dessert. Dont offer my food to other people! The food was good."

"I usually have a super experience at this restaurant, but Sunday night was not the best- the waiter neglected us a bit and the food was not up to the usual standard, but we will go back. Chalking this one up to it just being an "off night." I plan to get in touch with the restaurant directly to address my concerns."
