"My family has been going to Tuscany for over 20 years. My parents loved going when we were young. Now I take my girls. They love it too! we sat outside in the patio and everything was tremendous. I would recommend Tuscany to everyone!"

"Our waiter was a pleasure. We forget about Tuscany in Oakbrook but brought some friends from out of town who wanted an Italian bent. Though it wasn't on the menu, the chef agree to make me a seafood risotto. It was literally one of the best, if not the best, seafood risotto I have ever had. The seafood was plentiful, fresh, and large. My wife and I will definitely be going back there, especially if they will make the risotto again."

"Food was mediocre at best, but service was excellent. Probably would not recommend for dining. There are many other Italian restaurants in the area with much better food. The bar did look like it could be fun, as the night we were there a band was playing."

"We were able to sit outdoors for dinner the other night - very lovely - 3 out of 4 really loved our food - the 4th wasn't that excited thought our choices were better - ravoli pear dish - loved the roasted beet and citrus salad - Overall, a great evening."

"This was the first time we were here and it was FABULOUS. Our waitress was so personable and very good at her job. She was always making sure we were doing okay. She made our anniversary celebration a success! Food was excellent...we will definitely come back. And we will spread the word."

"We were a party of 6 and from the moment we were seated we felt rushed. We were a group of women celebrating a birthday and all of us felt the same way- rushed. We ordered bruschetta for an appetizer and it was served 1 piece per plate. Not all of us wanted the bruschetta why wouldn't they serve us a platter to pass? The food was just ok. The best part of the meal was the steak. Again the meal was rushed and we didn't order alcohol so they probably figured the bill was going to be low. When we received the bill we each had to pay $72.00 each. I can think of a lot better places to go for that price. Disappointing..."

"Went to Tuscany on Taylor Street............fantastic. Old neighborhhod feeling. Evening to remember. Guess the problem with Oakbrook, is that I expected the same thing, and it was just not there. Very good, but it had that 83 & Cermack "feel". Lots of other places in the same area that are very good too. Didn't stand out as special as the previous expierence."

"We have been to Tuscany Oak Brook on occasion in the past, and it was a perfectly good experience. However, this Easter was particularly bad: food was only fair - very salty; dry pasta bolognese; the vegetables which were described with the lamb dish were non-existent (and then a very poor excuse provided by the waiter as to the reason when asked for an explanation). Service in general was poor, and this was surprising considering we were there for a 1:30 pm reservation, and the restaurant was not full by any means. We will possibly try the restaurant again on non-holiday, but service & product should not suffer with a high-quality establishment, no matter what day of they year!"

"I had never been to Tuscany. The atmosphere and the service was beyond outstanding. Our waiter recommended a wine that was fantastic! It was like he knew us! I was very disappointed in the pasta. I would expect a restaurant that specializes in Italian food to have an excellent pasta! But it was mediocre at best. We did order the antipasto platter for an appetizer and the prosciutto that was on there was out of this world. I was happy that I ate the appetizer as I was not starving when the pasta came. To be fair, my husband ordered salmon and loved it. So it may have been just the pasta that was sub-par. If we ever go back, I will not make that mistake again! i will try a seafood dish instead!"

When it is full, it is very noisy so not the best when looking for a place to visit with friends.So, because they were so busy, there were long waits to get the order taken at each stage - drinks, appetizers, dinner.Also, the waiter forgot to bring one of the salads. "I had never seen this restaurant. It is hidden away in the officers across 22nd St from the Oak Brook Mall. Had I not seen a Yelp review while searching for restaurants in the area, I would have missed this gem. I found it because it listed live music in the bar.

Delicious fine-dining with friendly service in a quiet environment. My girlfriend also loved it. We will return."

"We were 5 people celebrating birthday.The service from the begining was good but as the restaurant was getting busier the service was getting slower.Next time I wouldn't come on Saturday if you pay me. "Had not been there for a couple years - and almost forgot how much we enjoy the hospitality and lively atmosphere -- coupled with good food and drink. The veal and mushroom ravioli was tasty. "The food and service were great ... Apparently, they hadn't checked us in using Open Table - I had to disput my no show status - which is funny since I used my $50 Open Table dining certificate to help buy my dinner - everything worked out okay. Place was busy because it was Valentine's Day and they had music in the bar area - Love the the two heart shaped tarts for dessert."

"As usual Tuscany food and service are first rate.However, Tuscany REALLY needs to consider using pagers when seating patrons.I was waiting at the bar to be seated after checking in for my 7:00 reservation.Due to the noise and crowds I did not hear my name called and almost missed my reservation.Why can't they use pagers like many of the top restaurants?"

"The service was very good, our server was energetic and attentive. Seems lke all tables are that....no booths for couples. Food was very good, my pasta dish was delicious. Unfotuntely, my husband experienced gastric distress from the sea bass. Located in an office complex...parking could be a little more convenient."

"Excellent food. My wife had a Ravioli in Sage Brown Butter dish that was really stellar. My Linguini in a shallot/mushroom sauce was also great. Even the bread, with a concoction they make at your table involving a fresh roasted clove of garlic was wonderful.

Service was friendly and courteous, with a solid knowledge of the menu and wine list but maybe a touch slow at times? We ordered a glass of wine and while the pour was a bit skimpy, the recommended wine was great. All in all, a nice meal. We will return"

"We make our way to Tuscany's less often than in the past, but often enough to hope for the fun, flavor and caring staff of a decade ago. I won't be over-critical of a restaurant we have loved so dearly and hope for so much. So many memories were shared at this great restaurant. We'll be back, but there remains a distance to go before they realize that they have not connected all the dots to complete customer satisfaction. I know they know what they have to do. The question is whether they care to do it. I hope that they do!"
