Francesca’s Fortunato is the 13th restaurant in "The Family of Francesca's Restaurants." Francesca's Fortunato brings to Frankfort and the surrounding area a restaurant with a contemporary, casually sophisticated trattoria ambiance, good, simple cooking, friendly service and fair prices. The menu features the zesty earthy cuisine of Rome and the surrounding areas of Tuscany, Umbria and Lazio.
The menu changes almost daily, but always offers a tempting selection of appetizers, salads, pasta dishes, fresh fish, veal and chicken preparations. Our extensive wine list includes carefully selected Italian and Californian wines that will complement your meal perfectly.

"I've found the Francesca's franchise a reliable place to catch a meal, but was let down on Sunday for the first time. We searched OT for Father's Day Brunch, found a brunch menu we liked at FF, made a reservation, arrived Sunday late morning only to find this was not the menu being offered. We really had out hearts set on what looked like would be some brunch treats, but instead were only presented the standard menu. With a hungry crew of 5 already seated, and the 'unknown' out the door, we decided to stay. The waiter knew we were disappointed, and essentially offered '0' in the form of accommodation. Outside of Easter, I really cannot think of a more suitable time to offer brunch, thus I have no clue why their brunch menu even exists."

"This was my third time at this restaurant and I have to say this time I was a little disappointed. I had the pork chop dinner which was clearly a mistake, I should have asked how it was cooked. When it arrived it was pleasant to the eye and I couldn't wait to dig in however as I started cutting the pork chop it was very hard to cut and already had this concerned look on my face. Well it was dry, chewy and the flavor was very, very bland. It actually tasted as if they took a frozen pork chop and cooked it. But I continued to eat because I was starving and didn't want to have it taken back. Also, the restaurant was busy and my only complaint with that is the noise level--very noisy. Overall it was ok."

"We go to Francesca's a lot, and the past few times the taps at the bar have not been working. This seems to be an ongoing problem at this restaurant. We ordered salads which took a long time to come out of the kitchen, and the restaurant was not that busy considering it was Mothers Day. The Cobb salads came without bacon on them, which was strange as it was listed with bacon on the menu. Service was slow. We will go back, but they need to work on a few things to bring this restaurant back to what it used to be."

"I love the food at Francesca' Fortunato, but the noise level is unbearable. It is next to impossible to carry on a conversation. My husband has a moderate hearing loss and he just shuts down when I finally convince him to take me here. We would probably eat at Francesca's more often if it were not for this problem. Although the food is great, the overall experience is not acceptable."

"Liked the convenience of on-line reservation. Our server was friendly and helpful but it was very loud. Our table of 6 had a hard time hearing each other. It felt very crowded and tight between tables and I got jostled by busboys and waitstaff more than once. Thought the wine list was limited. The calamari appetizer was cooked perfectly but my shrimp fra diavlo was tough and chewy. Overall disappointing and overrated."

"Excellent food. One issue with order, one person in our party did not get their order at the same time as the other seven people did. Waitress and manager came out, brought her additional items, and then didn't charge her - more than making up for it. Great customer service"

"We were hoping for a more romantic atmosphere. The dining area is open without any intimate areas. We were sat at a corner table by the window, which was nice but then a party of 6 with children was seated next to us with another following even though there were less cramped areas to seat them. The pizza was ok but the creme brulee was AMAZING, and our service was wonderful which made the experience that much better.
Good place to go for family dinners but pick somewhere else if you want romance."

"I wanted to take my girlfriend out to dinner for a surprise. I was not sure about the time that we would be home so I was unable to make reservations at a few other spots at the last minute without having to wait 2hours. I had heard about this restaurant and it was close to our house, so I went online and made a last minute reservation. I also requested the most romantic spot available. We got there a little early and were seated immediately. They even found us a cozy spot right by the fireplace. The staff was very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. The food was amazing and my girlfriend appreciated the evening as one of the best nights out that we had ever had. This was a great place to go. I would highly recommend it."

"My family and I went out on a Saturday night.. I would recommend making reservations.. This place is classy and family friendly. I have a 6 year old and a 11 month baby.. The kitchen was quick on turnaround and servers were always watching for you every need. I felt like I was downtown on Michigan Ave.. The infused olive oil was amazing and the food was great. Go before 7pm if you have kids. It gets crowded later in the evening. Italy in Frankfort"

"The first thing we notices about the restaurant is the location. It's in old Frankfort and we enjoyed the small town feeling. We ordered different things and all foor was very tasty and reasonably priced, except my daughter's chicken from the kids menue, which was a little dry. "You should be aware that the pasta choice is somewhat limited, due to the restaurant's policy to rotate the selection of pasta every two weeks. We were unaware of this before we dined. However, the choices on the menu were prepared wonderfully and were quite exceptional. I would order the artichoke filled ravioli again; its sauce was slightly sweet and complemented the smoothness of the pasta."

"Very good food. I like this place much better then the Palos Park location. Calamari was fresh. Ordered off the menu and had the chicken parm. Fantastic and had a ton left over for lunch the next day. Highly recommend this place. Besides, not any other choices in the south suburbs for excellent Italian food."

"we love Francesca's. We did think the food was not as good as it usually is. The seafood we had was extremely salty. The pasta was good, but not as good as we usually have there, it was just average. We loved the bruschetta the most probably. We also had the prosciutto and artichoke salad / appetizer, which was just ok. The service was wonderful."

"I have dined at the establishment many times in the past. Always good food. I ordered flowers to be brought out during dinner they never arrived from the florist. Bookay was the florist recommended by your establishment. I asked for a seat next to the fire place in the east room we were seated in the main room by the window. So all in all you can probably arrive at my over all experience."

"The food is consistently good, actually if you are thinking in terms of relativity I would say the food is great compared to anything else within reasonable proximity. I gave the service 3 stars because it was Valentine's day and they were slammed. The service was good, not any more than that on that particular night."
