Francesca’s Fiore is the 10th restaurant in "The Family of Francesca Restaurants", bringing the downtown Forest Park area a restaurant with a contemporary, casually sophisticated trattoria ambiance, good, simple cooking, friendly service and fair prices. The menu features the zesty earthy cuisine of Rome and the surrounding areas of Tuscany, Umbria and Lazio.
The restaurant is located in the heart of the revitalized Madison Street area, just four blocks West of Harlem Avenue.
Francesca’s Fiore has four dining rooms and a spacious antique bar. The front dining room has floor to ceiling windows that can be opened during warmer weather. The two back dining rooms have beautiful stone fireplaces. All of these dining rooms are available for private events and can be combined for larger groups.

"Went for dinner on Saturday night. The restaurant was not too busy with open tables. Food was decent but service was aggressive and rushed. Appetizer plates were yanked mid bite. The entrees came out while we were eating our appetizers, just no coordination in the kitchen. I indicated that we were not ready and the waiter was very fine with that. From that point they were not pushing us to rush (even when there were plenty of open tables). While the waiter was apologetic, no accommodation was offered (desert, some part of the bill) for the rude and aggressive service."

"Wonderful food, great service. We enjoy bringing friends or our family, including the grand kids, here for an early supper.
Our favorite dishes are their Bruchette alla Romana, TIlapia Funghi, and any of their ravioli's."

"Attended a graduation dinner. It was perfect. I was worried about having children with and interrupting the other patrons. But luckily we had our own room. It was very special and felt cozy."

"They were totally overwhelmed for the Mother's Day crowd, most of which was seated by reservation. Service could not have been worse. Food was mediocre. It was all capped off by delivering a bill that overcharged us. We resolved that and got out as fast as possible. Our experience was shared by most of the other diners around us, almost all of whom had the manager at their table at come point. This may have been one bad day, but we will not return."

"An 1 1/2 hours before my reservation, they called and said they had made a mistake they had a private party, and had to cancel my reservation. First of all this was my Birthday dinner, there were 4 of us, and we had to call all over to find someplace else to go to. I had heard great things about Francesca's, but I am not happy with the situtation."

"We have been here many times.I hosted a retirement party here 2 years ago that went really well.HOWEVER,things have changed.The olive oil was not at all tasty,the food was bland,no salt or garlic or anything..I had the veggie pasta and my husband had the seafood pasta.It took a half hour to get the ceasar salad and an hour for the meal.We were celebrating and did not want to spoil our time while there..but on second thought it was a waste of 60.00 plus tip.This is my second slow,bad food experience there."

"The four in my party had a nice relaxing time. I have been here before so I know they can do better with the cooking of shrimp and scallops, quite a bit overcooked. Overall will be back again but will skip my once favorite choice as I was sorely dissapointed. We WILL be back again!"
