Vesta, the Goddess of the Hearth, is the most beautiful of Roman divinities, bright and pure like the flame that is her symbol. Latins made Vesta a goddess who personified the earth and fire. She presided over the preparation of meals: Vesta was offered the first food and drink. The hearth conjures up visions of domesticity and peace, for the hearth is the traditional center of family life. It symbolizes warmth, security, and companionship a place for dreaming where it becomes possible by peering into the embers, to find physical and mental renewal and a place to discover the secrets of the future. At Vesta Dipping Grill, we have combined these themes to provide a unique dining experience. Vesta is simplicity, quality, comfort, life, art, scent, relaxation, taste, sound, and fun.

"We had a great time at vesta. I took my wife for her birthday and she loved it. We both got the duck breast and it was outstanding. Great service and friendly staff all around made for a wonderful evening."

"Vesta Dipping Grill has been our family's restaurant of choice lately for celebrating special occasions. Our server had a delightful attitude. We started with the Sauce Sampler, so we could have the opportunity to taste some sauces with flat bread before committing to the ones we would order with our entrees. Next was bread with roasted garlic (that's amazing) and olive oil. I like how Vesta will let you switch the sides that come with your entree. We ordered two beef tenderloins, grilled scallops, and venison. One steak was undercooked and had to go back, and the grisly venison ended up being replaced cheerfully. It's probably somewhat over-priced but still a unique and enjoyable dining experience."

"I went with my mother on a Sunday evening for dinner. Our server was really helpful in explaining the menu and made some great recommendations for us. I had the scallops with the three recommended dipping sauces and ate every bite. My mom had the duck and she said it was amazing. i would definitely go back again."

"The variety on the menu was incredible, with 6 people we managed to have about 1/3 of all the food and sauces. The venison was a favorite, as well as the scallops. This won't be the best experience if you struggle with germs, part of the fun was dipping into everyone else's sauces as well as your own! Definitely ask about appetizer portion sizes, as they varied from the delicious one bite pork belly to the sharable shrimp. The beverage list was extensive and exciting as well, with choices to please any palate. The noise level was just slightly high, but I bet some of the smaller tables have a little more room for romance. We will definitely be dining here again, I can't wait to see what the fall menu holds!"

"This place rocks. Very cool feel and the whole place exudes good vibes. Starting with Nick, the manager who runs the floor with a Joie de Vivre that the entire staff also runs with. Food is just wonderful.....Venison kielbasa, seared tuna, and the shrimp were a party in your mouth. The lamb shank and duck breast entrees were just sinful. Go enjoy."

"I had a great dinner here with a large group on a Saturday night. We were seated in one of the big round booths near the back, and while the restaurant was pretty boisterous, I think we were responsible for taking it up another level. We tried just about everything on the menu and it was all delicious. The venison kielbasa will go down as one of my all-time favorite dishes from any restaurant, anywhere. From drinks till desserts, everything was fantastic."

"The space is gorgeous and the food is very creative. The dipping sauces are delicious and something different for a really fun and tasty night out. I stuck to apps and really enjoyed the tasting platter to try five different sauces and the meat and cheese plate, however the other apps I ordered (i.e. duck potstickers) did not impress. Definitely worth going!"

"Easily the best service I have had anywhere in years- and I travel and eat out more than often. I think our waiter deserves some sort of "best of" award. Food was innovative and delicious- I am prone to switching things on the menu to my liking and every request was accommodated down to an autograph from the chef in the restaurant's own cookbook- which you are a fool not to purchase.
Vesta has a lively, energetic and somewhat casual feel to it which is perfect for its urban location and style. Can not say enough good things about the food and if you are not into sauces you need to change that attitude and branch out- trust your server- they know whats going on in the kitchen- and it is all delicious! We can not wait to return!"

"After disappointment from our usual anniversary eatery this year, we have been on the lookout for another one. Vesta Dipping Grill is now at the top of the list. We made a reservation and a table was ready when e got there. The waiter was very attentive to our needs and although there were some issues with the food not coming out right away, our waiter noticed the delay each time. The food was great on its own, but we tried 12 total dipping sauces and each one was great. The liquor list was extensive and had a good wine list. We already have plans to go back next anniversary."

"From the bar tender to the servers the service was excellent. The food was creative, flavorful and cooked just right. This was my third time dining here and I have never been disappointed.
Only recommendation is better bread. The pieces were a little dry. A moister perhaps slightly warm loaf would be a nice compliment to the garlic."

"My wife got the Lamb Shank and it was utterly tasteless.
My Venison was nice enough but nothing to write home about.

We tasted a couple of the low-end Malbecs and they were like cough syrup so we splurged on a $60 bottle which was much nicer.

"From the moment we sat down we had to wait. It took a request and 30min to get our water. The server finally showed up after a second request and the stop of an unknown employee. An hour long dinner turned into a two and a half hour ordeal.
The food is great but based on how that food gets to the table I am never recommending nor going back again."

"I'm never disappointed by a visit here. In town for my son's 24th BD, they did a great job handling an addition to our reservation, and made him a birthday dessert with special sauces. "The wide range of interesting sauces and dips make this restaurant a unique find in Denver. Our server remembered all of our sauce and menu choices without writing anything down, very impressive! She was able to recommend an appropriate wine with our meal. The sampler appetizer is a good one to try out five different dips before you order your main entree. A fun place!"

"We've been in the denver area a week and this is by far the worst dining experience we have had. The service was literally non existent. At one point, the manager, Nick came to our table and said they had a big party that night and never saw him again but did notice he had plenty of time to have drinks with his buddies behind the bar. Really a bad experience!!"

"We heard very good things and found everything very average. The service was poor, a water wasn't filled unless asked and we felt rushed. Not a word was mentioned about the "dipping" or the way the menu was set-up until we asked. Overpriced disappointment in a city of wonderful restaurants."

"On our first trip to Denver a couple of residents recommended Vesta as their favorite restaraunt. We went and had a fabulous meal. Since then, we have been itching to go back and finally made the trip to Colorado, which included dinner at Vesta. Their venison dish with the cherry sauce is one of my absolute all-time favorite restaraunt dishes. It tasted just as amazing on our second trip, two years later, as it did on our first. And the sticky toffee pudding-wonderful! You can't go wrong with any of their sauces or dishes. As someone who travels fairly often and is always on the search for amazing food, Vesta is still at the top of my list. We will always make time to eat at Vesta when we travel to Denver."

"This place really blew us away. We had heard so many good things about it, that we had to try it. We had the pork belly small plates, which were AMAZING, then the full meat and cheese tray. The tray was so well put together, with a really beautiful truffle honey as well as a spicy cherry chutney. The meats and cheeses were excellently chosen. For the entree, we both got the beef tenderloin, and let me tell you....the demi glace was so good, I didn't even want to use the dipping sauces. However, since this place is known for dipping, I went ahead and tried them, and they surprisingly did not mask the taste of the steak, but simply enhanced it. Service was amazing (ask for Jesse if you can), and the drinks were also good."

"I had never been to Vesta before, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. The wine list offered nice variety and the food was delicious. Our server was attentive without being annoying. One word of caution is that it is rather expensive. Four entrees and seven cocktails came to almost $200 - that did not include an appetizer, dessert, or any other extras. Great place for a special occasion though."

"We stumbled upon Vesta after a Rockies game. It was so good we returned with other friends in 2 weeks! The Concept of dipping sauces adds a different twist to the dining experience, though the food was so well prepared, no sauces were really needed. Waiters were helpful and attentive."

"My wife and I went had our Anniversary dinner at Vesta dipping grill. The menu has good choices and the wine list certainly broad and covers all tastes. You must try the watercress pesto and pineapple bacon sauce. If you are in the mood for something different, you wont be disappointed with the venison steak and white sangria. The only downside to the restaurant is the noise level with makes it very difficult to hold a conversation or have a romantic dinner. We will definitely plan on going back."

"Wonderful night. They were able to move our reservation back a bit as we were running late. As usual the place was buzzing with activity, busy and warm atmosphere. Loved our waiter Adam, he was the best. The sommelier was fantastic. Food was great.

"I took a group from out of town to Vesta and had an enjoyable time. I really enjoy Vesta and usually rate it a 5 but this evening the food was not as good as normal. Hard to describe the reason but it just was not its normal 5 star quality. I hope it was just an off night and does not portend things to come."

"Went to Vesta for the first time this past weekend for an anniversary dinner, and it lived up to the hype. I had heard great things about Vesta from friends, and thought it was even better than we had expected. My girlfriend and I are both gluten intolerant, and the restaurant has both a gluten free menu and a celiac menu, which was really helpful for us. Many restaurants now have a gluten free menu, but it's very limited....Vesta's was almost the entire menu, and they also served gluten free bread, which is often hard to find. The food was excellent, including the sauces, which went great with our scallop and steak entrées. The servers were very helpful, and knew the menu inside and out."

"This is a fun place. We were visiting Denver for a graduation and this restaurant was a real find. Our group enjoyed sharing several appetizers and favors. The food was delicious and the service was very good. I would recommend Vesta for a different experience."

"I thought this was fun restaurant. I went for someone's birthday and being a vegetarian thought the one veg option was very weak. But I liked the idea of the bread and sauces. I was surprised though that none of the sauces wowed me. I thought most were OK, nothing special and overall kind of bland. What was very good was the service. Our server took time to explain things, make recommendations, knew which sauces had meat such as bacon, etc. Great overall service from our main server. I thought the helper servers interrupted us way too often trying to take plates away. One of them asked if he could take my plate and I said no, but he took it anyway. It's a bit loud in the industrial brick wall setting, but he should have listened better."
