At Kincaid Grill, you will find the finest in food preparation and uncompromising service. Kincaid Grill is located in a quiet West Anchorage neighborhood which lends itself to its unique sense of personal touches. Kincaid Grill is well known for being one of the finest restaurants in the Anchorage area for its quality preparation of what we call Alaskan Regional cuisine. Combining simple flavors and concentrating on the ingredients at hand, we strive for the ultimate dining experience.
"My wife and I are not new to Kincaid Grill. We enjoy dining there. Patrick is very accurate in describing what comes out of the kitchen and is the reason we always try to sit in his section. Patrick listed the specials and after asking a couple of questions I ordered the Vegetarian Special. In my opinion, most vegetarian dishes are a little short on flavor. This dish was full of flavor. I had to ask who created it and the name of the dish. I found out Chef Steve created the dish and it didn't really have a name. It was simply called the vegetarian special. Good job, Kincaid Grill."

"We left the Kincaid Grill with a unanimous opinion it was one of the finest meals we had eating out ever! Everything was perfect starting with the waiter, then the appetizer, salad, soup main course with no room left for desert. But we solved that problem and got desert to go. A night to be remembered and a place we will be going back to soon!"

"I was actually not impressed at all. My boyfriend and I have been wanting to go to Kincaid Grill for months but we live on the other side of town. I ordered a steak medium rare and it was well done. I had to send it back, which I hate doing, but I was not going to eat that at all. It was nice while I was waiting I was given a frozen fruit dish that was very good. The waitress was nice. I truly question a restaurant that can not cook a steak correctly. We might go again, but only because we have a coupon in the Northern Lights book. Other than that I will stick to the downtown restaurants and some that are on the south side. I do not recommend this place, especially for the price. Way better place in Anchorage to eat at."

"Tucked out of the way in a strip mall near the airport, we found this restaurant to be shockingly wonderful! Its outward appearance belies the professional quality of the waitstaff and the chef, whose concern for our wellbeing was always in evidence (though never overbearing). The four of us shared four appetizers, and one was better than the next; each of us loved our main courses. The wine selection contained a range of reds and whites, and the one we chose was not overwhelmingly expensive but a perfect complement to our meals. Desserts were a fitting end to a celebratory meal."

"The restaurant was reccomended to me by a colleague at work and it exceeded my expectations. I ordered one of the specials, a Halibut dish and is was one of the best I've ever had."

"Amazing dinner... From the start to the end, I felt like a VIP.. We have already booked reservations for another night to enjoy. The Chef is really a true talent and the staff makes you feel like one of a kind. I can't rave about this place enough to my friends."

"Always consistently great food, nice atmosphere, good wine list. Service is great and the neighborhood locations and parking make it convenient over down town high end restaurant choices."

"Came in with a group of 4 on a Tuesday evening. The restaraunt wasn't busy, and I was happy that they'd accomocdated our request for a quiter table and not a booth. This was a social meal between two parties that do business together and the staff were very perceptive with respect to our dinner conversations, and appropriate in terms of checking back with our group. I found our waiter to be top notch and very knowledgable about the menu. Dishes and flatware were cleared quickly, and our drinks were filled continuosly. Three members of our table had the Halibut special, and the fourth had the salmon. All were very pleased with our meals. The risotto on the bed of kale that came with the halibut was very tasty. All in all a great time"

"Maybe the only place in Anchorage to offer cioppino, which is as good as any I've had in other cities. My husband said the duck (something he has often and is very picky about)was possibly the best he's had."

"We had a great relaxing dinner of fresh troll-caught king salmon (a wonderful treat this early in the spring) with a very good bottle of un-oaked Mer Soleil chardonnay. The French press coffee also was a nice touch afterwards."

"We get to Anchorage once a year, and this is a "don't miss" for us. Never has anything been less than excellent. The food, the service, the table setting, the lighting, the food (did I say that already?), the service (did I say that also?) and the absense of being noisy or loud make Kincaid Grill an oasis."

"We took advantage of the excellent menu and wine pairing offered for Valentine's Day. pairing. From the sparkling wine with our appetizers (perfect crab cakes and oysters) to the main course of crab and filet, it was a delight. The service was attentive, the courses were presented so perfecty and it made the night very special. We took an early reservation but we were not rushed on this busy night. I am looking forward to going back again soon to pick something off the menu. I would say for Alaskans who love their fresh seafood, it doesn't get any better than Kincaid Grill."

"While the menu items may be on the high side for some diners, the food and service make it worth every penny. Every dish we've tried here has been perfectly cooked and had a beautiful balance of flavors. We love coming here for special occasions and to celebrate."

"We have been celebrating our anniversary for several years now at Kincaid Grill. Very kind that they serve a complimentary dessert. Our meal was wonderful. Our server was very attentive and genuine. She helped us with all our questions and recommended a fabulous wine."

"Kincaid Grill is on the the other side of town from where we live so we don't get over here too often, but everytime we eat here we think "wow this is good, we need to come here more". The menu is not extensive but very thoughtful choices of seafood and meat. I usually end up ordering whatever the special fish of the day is, my husband has steak or something like that. They cook both to perfection. The sides offered are creative and healthy."

"Kincaid grill is our go to place whether we want a romantic dinner for two, large group, or impromptu gourmet dinner. They offer splits of top quality champagne and wine perfect for two. The fusion seafood soup may be the best Thai coconut soup anywhere. We had the fish special (rock fish) and the tenderloin cooked exactly as ordered. We were comped a dessert without asking because the server felt the food had been slow arriving. That's service! I will always recommend Kincaid Grill."
