Seviche is Nuevo Latino, an eclectic mix of the traditional flavors of Latin American cuisine and its influences infused into new contemporary dishes. Our chef creates new exciting flavorful dishes based on his heritage and formal training. Chef Anthony Lamas has received national acclaim, John Mariani of Esquire Magazine exclaims "Seviche has emerged as one of America's best and most innovative Nuevo Latino-style restaurants, with plenty of the chef's personality packed into every dish." Seviche has received 4 stars from local food critics and continues to be a stand out among Louisville's top independent restaurants.
We have just completed an extensive renovation and expansion. New features include updated bar area, cocktail lounge, state of the art restrooms and 60 person private dining room.

"Our server on this particular night was a bit awkward from the start and never really relaxed and provided the level of service we expected from the wait staff at an establishment like Seviche.

"Saw this on Food Network and decided to give it a try when visiting Louisville for business. Waited about 25 minutes for our large table, but had drinks at bar with friendly bartender. Food was absolutely delicious, particularly ceviche and 24 hr. pork belly. Had half price wine by the bottle on the Monday night, so whole experience was affordable. Highly recommended."

"I was pleasantly surprised with the restaurant quality in Louisville in general. Chef lamas has done an excellent job with this place. The food was exceptional and service was excellent. Had duck nachos and tuna ceviche for appetizers. Had hand line caught tuna steaks for main. Everything was delectable and wonderfully presented."

"I took my family out for my birthday and my celebration was quickly ruined due to our terrible service and an awful manager. I am extremely disappointed and embarrassed after telling my whole family how great Seviche is. I don't know what was worse, watching our drinks sit at the bar for 10-15 minutes at a time or the fact that the manager stopped by and offered to give me a free dessert, because they do that on birthdays anyways. Usually it's perfect, this time made me think again about returning. If your server has a long pony tail, I highly recommend you switch sections, because he is by far the worst server I have ever had."

"Seviche offers fresh food served with artful presentation. Of course, the 6 kinds of seviche are all fabulous. Try their tasting platter of 3 or 5 different types. The appetizers are varied, from tableside quacamole, to mussels, to dishes that this pesce-ovo-lacto vegetarian did not sample. The beet salad with the goat cheese was delicious as was the warm arugula and cauliflour salad. The entre selections offer red meat, chicken, fish and an all veggie option. There is a nice wine and cocktail list with selections sure to compliment your food selection. The outdoor patio is perfect for afternoon luncheon or a nice evening meal. The inside lounge has darkened ambiance and overstuffed chairs. This place is now on our list of regular spots!"

"Our waiter was great and the food was even better. The buffalo empanadas was wonderful. I would have liked a little more cauliflower in my cauliflower salad, but the flavor was wonderful. I would love to go back and sit outside. It is my understanding that the menu changes often, so recommending meu items may do no good, but the Striped Bass and Crab Cigar was excellent. Our friends loved the Scallops, which would be high on my list to get, next time."

"Seviche does it again: excellent food and very good wait staff that made our family's birthday celebration wonderful! Sat out on the patio, wonderful weather. Had the ceviche tasting with each item colorful, unique and very tasty. Great bottle of wine and the adult kids had fun with a raspberry mojito's and a tres leche cake. We go to Seviche regularly and are NEVER disappointed; it is our "go to" restaurant for celebrations or impressing out of town guests. And its a Louisville Original! Keep it great Seviche :)"

"When there is an empty restaurant why seat the only TWO tables on top of each other? I really didn't want to pay a fortune for my meal and listen to the teenager sitting next to me tell about his weekend. The food here has always been great but since our last visit (less than 8 months) every single price has been raised - some of the appetizers went up by $5 a pop. Sure this is a great restaurant but it's also Louisville, not New York - they are pricing me out. Food was great - seviche, striped bass and the buffalo empanadas were our favorites. Caesar salad with pepitas was of the highest quality. Cocktails were strong and flavorful but the ultimate was the brown butter ice cream with frozen popcorn - to die for. Service was average."

"Located in the heart of Bardstown Rd's restaurant scene, Seviche offers a pleasureable dining experience. The wait staff know the menu inside and out and can make recommendations on the spot. My girlfriend and I enjoyed the salmon and striped bass dishes. I can't wait to get back and enjoy some of their famous Seviche."

"I have passed Seviche many times and never stepped in before. Checking for a restaurant availability at 6:30 on Sunday it appeared as a choice and I decided to give it a try.
Appetizers were perfect with a nice spice. The seafood soup was unbelievable -- the best I ever had. The server's wine recommendation was very good. A last minute decision to try a dessert was a surprise as they have an excellent popcorn/ice cream which can't be described.
Go try it for yourself and you will not be disappointed !!"

"I arranged a surprise dinner party for my wife. We were celebrating our 40th Anniversary and Seviche is one of our favorites. The restaurant allowed us to use the private room even though there would only be 10 of us so we could "get a bit rowdy".

"Excellent food, definitely unique to the City of Louisville. I requested a quiet corner seat since it was for our anniversary, but they put us elbow to elbow with other tables. Granted, it's not really a "romantic" type restaurant. But the service was excellent and so was the food. The waiter was very knowledgeable and accurate in his recommendations."

"My husband and I ate at Seviche for the first time April 9th. It was a warm evening, and chose to have dinner on the patio. The pork belly appetizer was wonderful, latin favors with just the right amount of heat. I chose a special, a suggestion by our waiter, the Brazilian fish stew. The broth was heaven - sweet, spicy, rich, and refreshing. I was tempted to raise my bowl and drink from it. The seafood within was all cooked to perfection. My husband ordered another special, the chorizo tacos. The chorizo is made in-house, it was flavorful and not a bit greasy. We will be back soon, the food was first rate and the service was wonderful."

"Booked a table for 7 for a business dinner. Very pleased with the service we received. The appetizers that I pre-ordered were delivered as we sat down at the table, glasses were never left empty for long, and the food was wonderful. Thanks, we'll be back!"

"Absolutely wonderful experience... food was beautifully prepared, unique and truly delicious. Wait staff was friendly, very accomodating and spoke about the menu with knowledge and patience. Music was a BIT loud but tolerable. Very much looking forward to my next visit."

"I have become a regular at Seviche. I live their food and the margaritas are fantastic! In the summer, they offer a good spot for outdoor dining. The inside is very nice as well. The bar is large and a lot of people seemed to be enjoying hanging out at the bar."

"If you are looking for great food, a special atmosphere and excellent service, this is the place.
We have been coming to Seviches for years and always recommend it to our friends and out of town visitors. My daughter and I celebrated her promotion with dinner at Seviches this past weekend, and the food and atmosphere again exceeded out expectations!
We will be back soon."

"This is my favorite Louisville restaurant, hands down. Love the food and the service. Always great specials. The valet parking helps tremendously with parking on Bardstown Road. If you've never been - Go! If you're from out of town - don't leave without visiting."

"As usual another great experience. I took my boyfriend there for our Valentines Day dinner, a few days late. His first dining experience there. GE ordered the Wahoo Seviche and it was excellent and full of spice and flavor to where my 9 year old son tried it and loved it! The Swordfish was flavorful and delicious (just wished it was a tad thinker of a cut). My Sous Vide NY Strip added the Lobster Tail w/Chipotle Lenon Bernaise was Outstanding! Was in the mood for a delicious steak and I couldn't have asked for a better Entree than that feature! We enjoyed everything from the Martinelli Chardonnay, Lobster Bisque, Wahoo Seviche to the Banana Toffee Ice Cream Sandwich dessert! The entrees were delicious as usual!"
